KJGrant - I am so sorry.

Truebeliver - that is great news!

wishful27 - OMG. that is a dream come true!!!

AFM - I broke down and went against my own advise and took a HPT. My 2WW will be over Monday and if the stick is right, dare I say another bfp. I am cautiously optimistic, but it read positive right away and I never in my life have gotten the pleasure of seeing a plus sign... so that is a real treat.

(((hugs))) and prayers to all....

Hi guys,

Sorry for the delay but me and DH have had such a busy weekend!

Our follow up appt went well in a way, I guess! The consultant said the unit were really confused and shocked this cycle didn't work (tell us about it!) he said the cycle couldn't have gone any better! Which makes it even worse why it didn't work! He said they couldn't see any reason why it didn't work, only thing he noticed was that my lining of the womb wasn't as thick as they'd have liked - it was 7cm. He said if we go through anyone cycle then they'd look into giving me drugs to make the lining thick and the drug he suggested would be Vigra!! I mentioned about me having a few days spotting/bleeding and he asked me if i'd done a HPT (yeah, cos we just loving doing them!!) so we said no, so they did a test, and it was negative. THe nurse said it's probably hormone imbalance and my body gettng back to normal. I haven't had anymore spotting so just waiting for period now.

We asked about going back onto Clomid seeing as DH's sperm count is normal now and they've given me a prescription. But me and DH have decided to take the rest of the months off until after Christmas, and see how things go. If nothing happens naturally then we'll try the Clomid after Christmas, but I really don't want anymore hormones in my body for a good few months. I wanna feel back to normal.

So we've decided to go on holiday and enjoy ourselves and just take things as they come until Christmas, and then go from there.

I think we need a break from everything being about babies and getting pregnant!

I feel the meeting went well, but just a bit concerned about the problem being the lining of the womb. Starting to think maybe I'll never be able to carry a baby? But I guess we can look into other things if it comes to that!

Me and DH are just concentrating on enjoying ourselves on holiday and spending time just me and him with no more pressure of injections, appts, scans, etc...

Hope everyone is keeping well x x x x

Hi Ladies,

How are we all?

Bit hard to keep in touch with you all now with people moving to different boards! How's all the pregnancies?

Angie - how's things with you?

Rosario - how's the 3 babies?

Michele - how's things with you?

Nothing new with me - still waiting for that miracle! I am enjoying being just me and not going through any treatment etc...! We got back from our holiday to Majorca on Thursday. Had a fab time - all inclusive so made the most of the free booze and food! :D Diet time soon! haha

Well take care ladies and bumps!

Hey Vicky- Nice to hear from you! I thought this thread was long gone but nice to see someone revive it. Many people from here have moved onto the pregnant side of the boards or are in various new cycle threads. I moved onto the julyaugust thread and then got delayed again and moved to sept/oct, where i am currently hanging out. I am on my 2ww now, have my fet last tuesday and my beta is a week from today. I am already poas, but no luck in seeing a positive yet. I know it's still early.

Glad you are enjoying yourself, and vacation sounds so good right now. A little bit of booze right about now wouldn't be so bad either. I went to a bachelorette party the other night and I was the only sober one, but hopefully, it will all be worth it in just a couple of days! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

So great to hear from several of you! When the email popped up that this group had posted, I was so excited.

Rosario- SO glad to hear from you! I was just about to PM you to see what was going on. We havent heard from you in so long on the PAT March board, that I was getting worried. I am so happy to hear that you are feeling well. I can't believe that you have only gained 5 pounds with trips! That is awesome will power!

Michele- You know that I have been stalking you as well. I am praying so hard that this works for you! You have had such a tough time to get back to this point. I am sending you ton of sticky dust! Keep POAS and keeping the faith!!

Angie- I hope you start feeling better soon. You are turning the corner into the second trimester, so it should pick up. I have a ton of energy again now.

Vicky- So envious of your trip!! DH wants to go on one more warm excursion before colder weather settles in. I know it sounds horrible, but I have no desire to go on vacation if I can't drink! I would rather save the $ and go on something fabulous later on. I am happy to hear that you are relaxing - please drink some for me!!

AFM- Feeling great! Spotted weeks 14-16, but has finally stopped. Back to exercising, but still scared to have sex (poor DH!). I am showing, but haven't gained any weight. I know it is going to hit the scale any day now. I think of you all often from this board! Best wishes!!

Ok guys so I have some bad news... My cervix is no longer a nice long cervix... My cervix is unfortunately measuring 19mm (1.9cm) and I am 1cm dialated. I am on bed rest as of today. All I can say is to have me in your prayers. Doctors say its too late to stitch me and we have to go with the flow. I can shower, use the restroom, not cook for long... basically stay in bed all day long.

Rosario,
I'll keep you & the three little ones in my prayers. Sorry to hear you are on bedrest this soon. Keep the faith.
Hi fellow cycle buddies,
Just dropped in to see how you all were doing. Have not had much time to keep up with any of the threads lately. Working like a dog & trying to get ready for the babes. I anticipate bedrest b4 due date. The three of us are well. So far so good. Weight is coming on real easy & have that "bump." Just exhausted right now. Big ultrasound appt in mid Oct. Take care & God bless!

Hey ladies! It's so lovely to still be reading updates from our June/July group, I think of you all often.

vicky - I know it must be frustrating to have been told that the clinic were shocked that your cycle didn't work (we want them to know all the answers!) but it's good news that they haven't identified a problem, and as Ghost always says in his advice, more IVF's fail than work statistically, so for some of us if at first we don't succeed, we just need to have faith and try again! So pleased you had a good time in Majorca. I think it's a great idea to have a little time off between now and Christmas and just forget all about this IF stuff for a while. And you never know what might happen when you aren't looking, given the great work that DH did on his sperm quality...

CT_Michele - yay for being in the 2ww at last! I know we're all rooting for you so hard after all your delays!!

angieinhull and Daisy - wow, 13 1/2 weeks and 16 weeks respectively! I can't believe how quickly that has gone. Good to hear that things are going smoothly for both of you. Please keep popping into this thread to let us know how things are going!

Rosario - hey, our triplet mum! I'm not surprised you've been achy, what with three little miracles in there! Sorry to hear about your enforced bed rest - have they said how long that will be for? Of course you'll be in our prayers, keep strong.

sabi - so nice to hear from you. Don't you work too hard, it won't help your exhaustion!

AFM, we had our follow-up consult at the clinic a few weeks ago, and the doctor said they don't know why our two frosties died when they were thawed ready for our FET. Like vicky, it was so frustrating to hear that, but on the plus side at least they didn't say that it was likely to be an indication of poor egg/embryo quality etc. So we're looking at another fresh cycle now. They have a waiting list at the moment so we're provisionally booked in to cycle in December (projected ER/ET mid December with a 2ww over a non-alcoholic festive season!). Again, like vicky, I'm enjoying having a few drug-free months and getting my body back to normal.

Take care girls,
Hazel
