Love the new signature Leora... I need to color-up mine...its too boring. I'll see what I can do. You know, its funny because you are the same age as my oldest son - he will be 24 in June. You are soooo much more mature than him... he is still worried about "looking cool", his music and hanging out with his guy friends. I could not imagine him wanting a baby ~ at least not for another 15-20 years - not responsible enough to care for a plant much less a child. How would you feel about your mom having a baby - I'm not sure how old she is, but just wondering how my grown son will take it. He knew I was pregnant in '09, but seemed un-phased by it. I don't "feel" old, but I think to someone in their early 20's, I am old. I remember in high school my sister, who was 19, had her first son and my mom was a grandmother at 38... at the time I thought that was old! :P Am I trying to talk myself out of this or is it the raging hormones doing this to me??? I need to hide my keyboard...

Carol - My mom just turned 47 - so she is older than you. I know that my dad and stepmom TTCed and tried to adopt, but all that fell through and they don't have any kids (which is, honestly, a relief for me - things are very complicated and some half-sibs wouldn't make things easier). My mom has sworn she is done and just waiting for some grandkids! (Although she has offered to be a surrogate if we need one! how weird would that be?!)

I've always been super-mature for my age. I moved out of my parent's and went to college at 16. I met David at 17 (my first boyfriend! and we are still together! crazy!). I got married a few weeks after I turned 19. I graduated college and moved across the world at 20. Yup - a little precocious! I hated being a kid - I am soooo much happier as a grown-up. I'm just the kind of person who likes to be responsible (which is not always a good things, but mostly).

Don't worry about your son. My brother is 22 and just started college. He spent most of high school and the 4 years since just getting high in my mom's basement! He is entirely concerned with 'what's cool' (and the answer is definitely NOT the older sister with a MA and a husband of 5.5 years!). I think he'll grow out of it still! Right?

sorry -- just needed to vent for a moment..... I'm super bored at work - so I'm browsing BBC (which I *know* is a bad idea, but still)....

If I hadn't miscarried in September, I would 30 weeks pregnant today. THIRTY! I've never been that pregnant. I so badly wish that I was....

Leora, so sorry about realizing how pregnant you would be. I still think of the little one that should be one soon... and I am sure you think of the twins as well.... I guess those thoughts will never go away. I am praying you are pregnant before your due date.

That's awesome that you knew what you wanted from a young age. I was always mature when I was young, and now feel like I have reverted back to immaturity. I am very responsible, and a good wife and mom... but I like to be alittle impulsive sometimes. I didn't meet my DH until after ex and I were already split.... but honestly, what was I thinking dating a man that young. I think that was alittle impulsive and immature of me looking back on it. I love him, but sometimes question my former judgement  I don't think your mom being a surrogate would be weird if she is a stable, good person. I would do it in a heartbeat for one of my children if I knew they were mature and ready to be a parent, but couldn't. That says alot for your mother's belief in you being a good mother for her to be willing to do that for you. So what made you want to move to Isreal? Faith, family or just needing a change? I would love to up and move to Europe.. maybe a small town in Spain or Italy. Maybe if TTC doesn't work out I'll do that... or do it anyway with baby in tow...

Leora - the nurse practitioner at my place said she has been there over 20 years and the time does not need to be exact. That being said this cycle my times were all over the place and this cycle sucked lol!
You will be pregnant soon! I know it's hard and thinking about the what ifs stinks! I can't say I know how you feel because I can't even imagine. You are a strong woman, and you will have your baby soon!

Margi -- Hooray for starting BCP's! You're right... it's a step forward. An AFC of 16 is fantastic! Did your labs make it to California yet?

wannabeamum --I'm trying to be positive. I've been "gagging" and a bit nauseous in waves so DH thinks it'll be a BFP but I'm worried that it's just the estrogen causing that. When is your SnS?

Leora -- My clinic had me take my stim injections between 6 and 10PM, so if you're a bit later than 3, I'm sure you're fine.

Rio -- Yes, my beta is 2/4. I feel nothing really. Except a bit of nausea that comes in waves once or twice a day. I think it's the estrogen.

LYD -- Grow follies, grow!!!

hotgreentea -- Good luck with ER tomorrow! Thinking of you.

Kerri -- 9 is still very good! Too early to worry.

Hopeisallihave-- How was your ET today? You are PUPO!

Darlene -- I'm so sorry hun. It really sucks. I know. What is next for you?

Gi -- Thanks hun. Crash anytime! I appreciate you keeping ahold of some PMA for me.

Kimber -- How was ET today? Did the weather cause you any trouble? You are PUPO also!

CJ -- Thanks for the PMA! I'm trying to hang on to some, believe me. But it comes and goes. I hope your shy left ovary emerges with some beautiful follies at your next SnS.

jkulab -- 7 fert is very good! I like your thinking -- Feb the month of love = BFP's!

Chris (to_have_fun08) -- My beta is Friday 2/4. I'm really nervous and scared to think my journey may be ending.

Anton -- I do have some hope... it's just hard sometimes. Thanks for keeping those fingers crossed for me!

Tiger-- I did POAS on Saturday 1/29 when I was 8dpo and it was BFN. It really bummed me out so I decided not to do it again. My beta is Friday though. Maybe we'll both get our BFP's that day? Did you end up traveling? I'm sure the weather caused cancellations all over the country.

Tammy -- How goes your stims? Update, update!

Amanda1979-- I saw that clown study a few months ago. Kinda dumb I thought. I don't like clowns anyway...lol.

Lauren1171-- How are you doing? Do you have plans to POAS?

Kynlee -- Thanks hun. I need all the hope I can get!

Kat -- How are you? You are in for one more "hail mary" cycle it sounds like. This was mine... except I hate to go out on a cycle that wasn't great right from the start and only produced one embie when the fewest I've had before was 3.

andsahsa -- Thanks for the baby dust!

sunshine12-- ER should be soon for you, no? How are those ovaries feeling?

nwquiz -- Thanks for keeping those fingers crossed for me. I hope you're right about February being the month!

Oh gosh... I'm so sorry if I missed anyone!

AFM -- We did get 22 inches of snow yesterday into today. I drove home from work at 3PM yesterday and it was a white out and took me 2 hours. Boy did I have to pee!!!! But I made it. Many people stayed all night where I work and some of them were here 36 hrs. There were places for some to sleep but most only got about 3 hours. My county had a travel ban in effect this morning. Police were ticketing any car that approached the main stoplights. I stayed home until about noon and then got to work about 1PM. I live 27 miles from my workplace. I'm still at work now. I'll stay until about 9:30PM because I do have to be back tomorrow as well. I'm not feeling any pregnancy symptoms at all. I have sore boobs... from the PIO and I pee a lot for the same reason. I did have a few waves of nausea and gagged a couple of times over the past 2 days but I think that might be from the estrogen I'm taking. Ugh! Beta is Friday. Terrified.

Wow, we got russian here. Sorry, I cannot read it.
Lou, 9 is fine but I am worry about how many eggs they can work on. My past scores were not so good. It turned out nothing to be frozen. I feel really frustrated about this matter.
Anton, I haven’t got a date for my ER yet. For some reason, my doctor only tells me when she feels it is ok. However, they can not stimulate forever, so I guess next Mon or Wed they will do the ER. I am following the antagonist protocol with 2 different FSHs.
AFM, tired, tired and tired. Had headach, belly pain, backache... I haven't feel so bad before. :(

Thank you Ryann!!! I live in Kane county but I work in Cook county in Elk Grove Village. There was a travel ban for Kane, Will, and Lake counties this morning. In fact, a neighbor tried to go to work this morning and when they got out to the stoplight, police told him he had to turn back or get a ticket! Enjoy your time off with the snow! I got to work late and am working until about 10ish. I have to be back in the morning.

Cjinc and nwquiz.. So I thought mine is the only ovary who likes playing hide and seek!

My left ovary is always hiding behind the uterus! It's hard to access it during ER, so I don't get many eggs from there! The other ovary which shows up in u/s have lot of endometriosis surgery damage in it which I suspect is affecting the quality of my eggs..anyway in today's SnS, 9 follicles, all in the range of 15mm were showing up in my easily accessible right ovary.. I'm hoping that they are of good quality this time...I will most probably trigger on Friday and my estimated ER is on Sunday.

I'm planning to take a week off from work next week and have requested for a doctor's note. I'm dead tired from these back to back cycle as im taking max dose of medicine(300 gonal+200 menopur) and this endo pain is giving me a tough time. I lost 7-8 lbs in past 2 weeks..I'm hoping that resting and relaxing will give me my bfp this cycle..
