Carolyn, I am so sorry that things are looking bleak for you right now. I am usually so very optomistic but the only thing I can think is some women actually get AF their first month of BFP. The offical test will be here soon and then you will know for certain. Just hang on til then!

Sassy, you go girl! 16 eggs is great! Just remember that all the pain you have now is nothing compared to child birth!!!!! It is all so worth it, and one day you won't even remember the pain parts! Grow eggies grow!

Shantala, you wouldn't believe the stuff I watch on TV here! Last night I ran across a show called anatomy of sexon the Discovery Health Channel. It was pretty interesting!

Well, ladies the party was great! My parents came up and brother came up with his kids, so did DH sister and some of our friends. Abby had a great time and got lots of presents! No drinking for me as I am 2weeks away from stimming and trying to break my family from offering it to me.
I get to make cupcakes today for her birthday treat tomorrow at school so that should be fun. I've my meds class on Wednesday and my sister-in-law and my friend have already volunteered to stab me if DH feels he can't do it or if screws it up.
Well my dear sweet ladies the sun is coming up and that means my peace and quiet will soon be distrupted by the kids, so I will check on you all later. PMA and sticky baby dust to you all.

Carolyn my heart goes out to you. It is so hard toi keep positive when our body tells us other things. I think the holiday sounds great. James and i went away to mexico just after i had my M/C and that was definately the right thing to do. But am still thinking of you for tue that things work out better.

Xfactor was great last night. I thought Ray was brilliant and will back him for the final.

Sonya i am so sorry for what has happened to you an dyour clinic will need to give you an explanation to what has happened. hope it rights itself for Monday.

Thanks to everyone for your words of encouragement. I promise you I will get a FREE cycle if I dont get pregnant. I had my blood tests and u/s this morning. It looks like my right ovary still looks ok and has 6-9 follies. The left side has been aspiratated so he could not tell what is over there and doesnt think they will be able to get anything from that side. I am happy I still have 6-8 eggs but I am really upset because my chances have been cut in half. The doctor said well what does it matter if you get pregnant? I said 1st of all if I dont get pregnant I will have little or no embryo's to freeze for the next try. Secondly I paid $10,000 for you to cut my chances in half! What an ass! Anyways I am waiting for the clinic to call with my blood test. We hope to have another e/c at 8am on Monday. I will let you all know! Hope that my HCG is at the right level

Carolyn i don't know what to say if it hasn't worked i am so sorry and i think your idea of a holiday is brilliant this whole thing really takes it out on our marriages doesn't it im still praying for a BFP i understand your need to get away and you may be out of site you will remain in my prayers and hopefully we will see a post when you get back erm something like "natural BFP after holiday" i want this for you with all my heart i just know its going to happen...as for me i love being here with all you lady's its my pleasure your all so strong and i think we really do help each other through this

Sonya me and hubby where talking this morning he was saying remember the days when we could party like that and be back at work the next day its taken our old bones two days to recover...LOL hey i messaged you on your space but you turned me away....LOL i love how strong you are with your clinic praying hard this turns around for you and your right to tell your Dr off all those drugs to make those eggs its not so easy to just write them off wishing you a happy healthy baby belly

I am overwhelmed at everyone's kindness. Thanks for the warm thoughts.

By the way if my typing is really bad - I am sorry. Cooking dinner last night I sliced the very tip of my ring finger off. Yucko. At least I wasn't thinking about shots and babies for a few hours. Anyway - typing is a bit of a challenge.

Sokru, gbnut, tcbalgord, Shantala, Angie, Lara and, of course, Aunty and anyone else I've missed I appreciate your kind words. I'm, glad to see you here too Ange! I'm trying to catch up on everyone's stories. I am a little behind... At least I don't not feel so alone anymore! Hope I can contribute too!

Carolyn, I'm as challenged technolgy wise too I guess since I couldn't find the photos either. Maybe we need a seperate chat room for a Myspace 101 tutorial I agree with you! I am so impressed with all Aunty has done with this space. You will have to let us know where you are heading on your vacation so we can all live vicariously through you! Sounds like it is a much needed break. I just wish you were celebrating though. Maybe you can focus on celebrating your marriage or something. Anyway, I am thinking about you.

Lara - I've never been to Wales (actaully not much of anywhere outside of USA) but my grandmother is from there. She keeps talking about going back.

Sonja - I can't beleive your Doc was so cold! I'm still trying to track what happened, but regardless - what an ass!

As for me, I have ET in the morning. My 4 embies were hanging in there -well on Friday, but no word since. It kinda sucks because I have to show up Monday morning - get ready for the transfer - sit there in that oh so lovely gown - when there is a pretty good shot there won't be anything there. I don't know if that is typical, but it feels a little humiliating. I wish they would call me on Monday morning and let me know whether or not I should show up at the hospital. I know a million ways it could be worse, so I am ashamed to be complaining.

Angie! Big Day tomorrow for you too. While I'm sitting there with my tush hanging out of the hospital garb I'll try and focus on sending positive energy your way! Maybe TMI? hehe You are in my thoughts and prayers.

well ER was a success they gor 14 eggs! yippee. had to go thru my cevics in order to get to one of the ovaries but what ever it takes right. crampy now and just trying to relax, hanging with dog, just had lunch and feeling good, can't wait to hear how many fertilized ! go in wednesday for transfer! go kids go!!!!!

Carolyn- keep the faith. I am so sorry that it appears AF is here, I am glad you guys are taking care of your selves and the time alone will be a great regrouping for you! my heart goes to you!!!!

TC- I totally forgot Diedre Hall had issues too, sounds like a great motivational movie! thanks for the tip!

when i was going in for my FET the morning of the transfer I got a call to let me know that none of the snow babies survived the thaw, I would think the clinic would call to let you know, atleast I hope they would, and I agree it was better to get the call at home rather than to go in and be told as I was waiting... BEST wishes for you!

GBNUT_ love putting up the tree, hopefully if I feel ok and if DH gets home early enough we are going tonight to get ours! LOVE this time of year!

i am thinking of going wednesday before and after transfer, but it is 150$ yikes! but i guess it is sooooooooooo worth it right,

I'd like to join the group. I'll be starting my first IVF attempt at the beginning of Jan 07. I've been following other groups for a while, but didn't want to join until I got closer to my start. I didn't know there was a group out there for the Jan 07 time frame until I found you guys yesterday. So here I am! I'm nervous and excited at the same time and I can use all the support I can get.

I look forward to experiencing the journey with each and every one of you.

I've been posting on the Nov thread--had my first IVF attempt and it ended in a BFN about a week ago. We do have 7 frozen left, so I wanted to jump right back in but unfortunately can't this cycle because of Christmas...just didn't time it right, so I'll be doing FET in January.

Wishing everyone lots of BFPs (I know, you just need one but I like to think big!) and baby dust to all!

Dr.'s office called me today, of the 11 fertilized, 7 fertilized normally, 3, were so-so, but they fertilized them and are watching them and 1 was no good. I'm thinking this is all good news and then she told me I'm 'tentatively' scheduled for the ET on Tuesday. Sad reminder that these guys have to continue to look good for the next few days.

Tex, I hope all goes well with you tomorrow am. I'll be thinking and praying for you.
