Anyaf, hey girl we are so close to "the day"!!!, your symptoms seem so reassuring to me!!!!!!, and yes I also had the Steroids post ER, I guess it must be to reduce inflamation...

Wannababy, yes, I would definetly call RE, if we were not in ways of getting pregnant I would say it sound like a yeast infection to me and use one of those antifungal suppositories, but given our situation I would consult it with RE before using anything, and as Mia said, it might be a reaction to the products used during ET, are you allergic to latex???, By the way, welcome to the so pleasant 2ww

As per me, I did this morning, the "First Response" HPT, and it was definetly a BFP!!!!!!!!
, it is crazy, but I still cannot believe it, and I am even afraid of believing it........, I guess I will only start to believe it the day I have an US done and I see it, I am one of those that "if I don't see it, I don't believe it".....

We heard today that 7 off our 11 eggs have fertilised so we are having ET Monday morning. Feel better now, 2 steps down and onto the dreaded 2ww!

Kristin, I don't have too many symptoms, I had the AF like cramping kind of strong on Thursday and Friday, and my boobs are very mildly sore, but not much, probably just from progesterone shots. Most of my friends who had babies told me they did not have any symptoms until later in pregnancy, much later than when they find out they were pregnant, that's for sure, so don't worry about symptoms!!!!

Casey P, congratuladions on you embryos, that was very successfull!!!!!!!, good luck on ET on Monday!!!!!!, will be thinking about you!!!

I am feeling much better today, it has hit me harder this week as we were really hoping the numbers would grow, and it was just a late implantation. I feel positive in the fact that it is another step closer as we know we can get pregnant we just need them to stick around next time.
On a positive note i still have7 frozen embies so can have 2 more FET's also i have a complete free Icsi cycle to go on the NHS if needed.
the nurse said i will not go again until my Jan period due to the holidays but i will push for december as i will still not start cyle (drugs) anyway until after the holidays. Will make appointment to discuss Monday.

I just had my CD9 scan and I only have 2 follies!!!! This is so disappointing. RE is wanting me to do 2 more nights of stim injections and will rescan on Monday. Looks like this IVF cycle is going to be a bust and we will have to resort to IUI... Have any of you been a low responder to the stims? I'm just wondering what else RE can do.....

Hi ladies--
I was typing in a panic yesterday. My symptoms aren't as bad as I made them appear yesterday. The irritation comes and goes and I don't always have that discharge everytime I go to the bathroom. Actually,I have been good so far this morning. I was going to call the doctor but they only take emergency phone calls over the weekend. I can investigate when I go in for bw on Monday. Thank you for your concern Beachbaby, Casy, Vicky, and of course, Hopeful!!!

Jovigal--I was a slow stimmer. They threatened to cancel my cycle on 3 different occasions. Luckily something kicked in before the end. I think I stimmed for about 14 days and was told that I had 16 follicles. While I had a bit more than you, I am still considered slow. Up until that point I had 4 on one side and 5 on the other after about 10 days of stimming. When I had my retrieval, I was disappointed to hear that they only got 7 eggs, only 4 of which fertilized, and 3 of those survived. 2-8 cell and 1-9 cell. I am now in the dreadful 2ww! You never know what can happen. Keep the faith!!!!!!

To all ladies in the 2ww-- quick question--when you cough, do you feel pressure/discomfort in your pelvis?

wannababy: I did have some pressure in my pelvis when i laughed or coughed for a few days after ET. I was worried i would "cough out" the embies .

My dh and i met friends for sushi last pm (my way of "celebrating" my BFN..,would like to go scuba diving...but as i am looking at 3 more stims, pocketbook says NO!!!!)

There is a whole bunch of you guys testing in the next few days..... i am excited to hear about all of your BFPs! You will be in my thoughts and prayers...

Just wanted to catch up with you all and send everyone my best, for all of those who have got BFN I am truly sorry for you all and I hope that it wont be long before you are all back celebrating a BFP!!!

For all of those who are still in cycle I am wishing you all the best and am praying for BFP's for you all!!

I have been stimming since Thursday and feel fine apart from having the cold!!! I have gone for months without having the cold and the minuet I start stimming I get one!! Typical!!

Well I go in on wednesday for a scan to see how things are going so I will let you all know how I get on!

I am sorry that I have not been around as much lately but because I have got a bad back it is really uncomfortable to sit at the computer! I always keep updated on the posts and you are all always in my thoughts!!

Also before I go, my husband has offered to pay for me to have accupuncture before and after egg retrieval!! I have not had any other sessions before and I was wondering if anyone knew if just having the two sessions would make a difference or do you need to have it regular?
Let me know any thoughts or experiances!! Thanks!!
