MORNING ! from Australia. Sorry haven't posted much - I'm enjoying being out of IVF land if only for a short while. I feel normal and quite calm - am enjoying the new me!

A few quick posts - Vicky glad to hear you jumping back on the horse so to speak - shooting up in Argentina eh? Make sure they don't stop you customs  And PLEASE don't shave Sanson - I can't imagine what he would look like with a short coat.

Mel - our wedding planner - well done to you for saving the day. I am sure the bride was very happy to have everything in your capable hands - you sound very unflappable !

Sassy - enjoy the gourmet delights of Europe - sounds like you are having a fabbo time and well deserved.

Hi to Meggo, Fee, Jenn, Nickster, Hrob, patie, wanna, Amy (MIA) -sorry if I forgot anyone.

I'm still treading water - I had blood tests on Friday to see if I ovulated - will get the results this am. Am on day 46 now and no AF- oh the joys of an irregular cycle!

Better go - will write more soon.

Ang- I am sorry you aren't ovulating :( At least you can take the med's when you want to, well you know what I mean. Happy Early Anniversary!!!!

Okay so this cleansing/prep thing sucks! It's terrible!!! Its almost midnight, I am tired, I have a headache, my butt is burning.... and I want a cheeseburger more than I've ever wanted anything in my life!!! And I have to drink more of that "prep" junk tomorrow AM at 6AM, and just thinking about it is making me gag... sorry for the vent.

Hellooo from down under....

Now Wanna eat all the donuts you want I say, let the good times roll. By the way my gut is also bigger in the afternoons, I agree must have something to do with all the grub being consumed...As far as your anemia goes that may well explain your tiredness. I was very anemic last year and was absolutely knackered. Are you sure there isn't something you can do? Can you get spinach donuts??? Gross...

Vicky, well welll you will be shooting up in Argentina. Sounds very glamourous and a bit dangerous. I like it. Going back a few posts i agree with the other ladies about your DH having the right approach to people asking questions. Thankfully I told very few people about IVF, but those that I told asked me about it ALL THE TIME. It was so damned annoying. ...Oh well at least you won't have to worry about it on your holiday. So good that you are cycling again so soon....I hate waiting!

Sass, I had slobber on my desk when I was reading about your food exploits, I need to have some kind of bib attached to me when I read your holiday posts...I am terribly jealous. I love food. As far as BIL goes I join with the other sisters in saying thank goodness he is off the streets. Does he stay off drugs when he is in jail or does he manage to get hold of them inside??? It could be like an enforced rehab if he can't get any????

Nickster, thanks for your concern, I have actually calmed down a bit. I think it's because my gut is starting to stick out more and more so I'm guessing that Noggin must be doing some growing in there. I thoroughly agree with you that the IVF process and the meds make you insane. Sure I was a bit nutty before all of this but nothing compared to now...Glad to here the CT scan was clear...hopefully that will be the last little health problem for a good while...

Jenn your gentian violet story had me howling. I used to have gentian violet applied to various sores as a child and I can remember it being a very violent purple with tinges of gold. Your purple privates story takes the cake. No wonder the stirrups pale in comparison....nice work. In your honour I think we should rename gentian violet Genital Violet.

Mego! How did your scan go??? I'm afraid you are mistaken, it's not me having a scan today I think it may be Wanna....My appt with OB/GYN is next Tuesday. I'm not even sure I'll be given a scan on the day. I desperately want one though but am too shy to ask....It wouldn't be too much of a hassle for the bloke to give me a scan as the machine is right there in his office. I've being trying to think of ways to get a scan without asking. They only thing I've been able to come up with is to develop a facial expression that says "Please, please give me a scan." I think it will have to be in the eyes. I will practice my pleading expression tonite and for the next week. I hope OB/GYN doesn't think I'm demented or worse, cracking onto him....he's a bit wierd looking.

Oh I've also been thinking of names for Mego and Wanna's baby's. For Mego's girl I'm thinking flowers....Snapdragon or Sweetpea....OK I know I'm scraping the barrel here. I'm not doing much better for Wanna, the only name that I can come up with for her twins is Sigfried and Roy. Yes I know, completely unaccepable. I think the other sisters will have to chip in here....

Robbo, thanks for your calming words. How come you had a Red Flag chart? that alone would have sent me into orbit. Having said that your specialists sounded magnificient with all the monitoring that they did of you. I am insanely jealous. Excellent news that you have the green light to go for a cycle....yay

Angie, great to hear from you but sorry that the hormones have bottomed out. I recall my hormones were always at "baseline" in other words doing nothing to assist with ovulation. No no the only thing my hormones were doing were helping me grow a very handsome moustache...So don't worry too much about needing a kickstart but do enjoy your anniversary first! Congrats!

Patie, are you working too hard???

I assume that the Attorney General is on a classified mission somwhere. And Coco, well I can only imagine what she's up to.

....And bringing up the rear (ho ho) Mel. You poor thing, stuck on the throne all night. When will the madness end. Oh well all over soon. Good luck with your tests today I have everything crossed for you. You will probably be having the procedure while I am sleeping otherwise I would send you through some inspiring and hilarious posts to keep you occupied during the day....Sorry I can't though... Oh and your wedding story made me well up, so sad, and yet a bit inspirational...Am I right that you are also starting the clomid challenge today???? Man alive you've got a lot on. I'm sure you will go well on that. I also slobbered on my desk when I was reading about your cooking. Thought that you might want to know that, have to learn to control my drool.

Oh well I'd best be off, I really have nothing interesting to report except that I can only fit into one skirt now. My mate who has just lost a lot of weight has lent me one of her old fat skirts which I will try on tonight...

Hope you are all well.

Fee

Good Morning, Fee! :)

Bringing up the rear, hardy har har! This had better be over soon, that junk I drank this morning was terrible, it mad me gag, and I drank most of it, but I couldn't finish it... oh well! I do start the Clomid Challenge today - before I go to bed tonight I start the Clomid. Ya know, when it rains it pours - this way I have no way of getting into trouble, I am always busy  Right? Do they have a slobber control pill for you? Hee hee!

I hope you had a great day today!!!

THanks for your post, it was my first thing I did with my visit to the "office" if you know what I mean.... The Office Throne :)

XXOO!!

Happy Monday girls!!! Well it's a happy one for those of us who are not getting scoped in the rear today at least...

Mel- I hope you are doing good. Everything fertility wise with the clomid sounds good! I hope you are done with the rear thing and have some answers. That wedding!! Oh my! I feel so bad for the bride! At least mom is ok. You handled it well. If I were to get married again I would hire you! I always tell Dh I want to have another wedding because I want to wear the dress again. I would marry him again of course!

Fee- you cracked my up with genital violet!! Good luck for your appointment next week. Hmmm how can you get a scan without asking? Do they leave you in the room alone until the Dr. comes in? Maybe you could accidently slather that goop on you belly and take the wand and scan yourself. Or slather it on and wait for him to come in and just tell him "Oh, since you are so busy I decided to prep myself and save you time" then maybe even if he wasn't going to scan you he'll think oh what the h@ll she already has the goop on her, why not? Not very good suggestions, but it's all I got!

Meg- how was the scan? I like sweetpea too!

Vicky- Wow! You are moving right along with your next cycle. Great! It will be nice to see your best friend. Nothing cures me like a goog BFF visit! When do you leave??

Ok- gotta go the washing machine is calling. something isn't right it is thumping. Sounds like it's walking out of the laundry room. OOH maybe I should let it keep walking!!
Jenn

Melissa~ I am sooo sorry I didn't get to send you e-mails. I already had it all planned and even had some funny ones to send you. Some good 'ol throne humor! I'm sorry. We were so busy this weekend and my parents stayed here and it's always pretty hard to get away when they're here. I really hope everything goes ok today. Just think by the time you read this you will probably have already gotten your cheeseburger and feeling lots better! So..Clomid tonight? It really is just one thing after another isn't it? Well as least that's a much more exiting thing! I can't believe you had 19 follies even before the Clomid! That's great. We might be seeing a mama with a noggin count of four in here before too long!!!
That wedding this weekend...wow. I was scared that story was going to have a bad ending but I was glad to see it didn't. You saved the day! I bet they were so glad to have you. Sounds like the love for your job really shows.

Fee~ Glad to hear everything is well with you, except that your clothes don't fit! I'm sorry about that but like you said at least you know that little baby is growing in there! Good luck on your scan today.

Meg~ Good luck with your scan today. Let us know how it goes.

Oh by the way...Happy LATE Mother's Day to Fee, Meg, & Wanna!

Angie~ Good to hear from you. Sorry to hear that AF is late, but I'm sure you're not real surprised. Don't you wish just once she would cooperate? Well give us a report on your blood work from Fri.
How's the house coming along Ang?

Vicky~ How are you girl? How many days are we on the countdown to Argentina? I know it's not too far away.
About that shaving thing..I think our friend is going to come and clip our dog. This hair is everywhere. I can't take it anymore. She isn't going to shave her but just clip it a little shorter to get the loose hair off the top. She said she will actually feel better too. I just hope she doesn't look too silly. I'll let you know!

Patie, Wanna, Sassy, Coco~ How are you girls?

Not much to report here either. Of course I never did get my house cleaned on Fri. so I have to do it sometime today before I go back to work tonight. I hate when a weekend goes by and you feel like you have done NOTHING! Oh well. Talk to everyone later.

Nickster- Hey! Thanks for asking. Shooting up is going good. I had scan today the nurse thinks she sees at least 6 for retrieval. She said there are some little ones that might catch up you never know! I have to go back Wed. and probably Thurs. too. I am hoping for ER on Monday! Really excited because last time we only had 3 eggs!
