pauline - wish I could help you make a decision, but it is a very personal choice - as you well know. I think all of us at times have some doubts, and I think it is only natural. Good luck coming to a decision that you feel is best and right for you.

Thanks so much for your words of wisdom/advice. I know that only I (we) can make the decision but it is nice to hear of others experience too
Well today I went to a genetics clinic in Epsom hospital (long story but basically breast cancer gene in family and aunt got letter for us all to get tested). Anyway, where was the clinic based only in the Maternity/Childrens outpatient area - I've been asking God for a sign and I'm taking it as one!!
Also, DH is still going on about babies so I guess he will adjust his needs as necessary

Sounds as though things are moving forward for a few of you.
Pauline, all I can tell you is that in the end this whole journey is worth it if it works out! There is certainly the question of how much life will change with the growing of ones family... and it sure does... but in a very good way. That isn't to say that you can't have a full and happy life if you choose not to proceed with children. It is what is right for each person and ultimately you may not have control over that. We can only do what we think is best for us and hope that we can achieve our hopes and dreams!

Not much news from me. Have decided not to stress over whether or not we do go ahead with our treatment - I'm still undecided although I have emailed the clinic though to see if they have any availability in March for us to go over and recce the clinic and have a consultation meeting and then take it from there, one step at a time and trying not think too much about everything.

I'm actually doing better than my message sounded. I know for me, one way to de-funk myself is not to skimp on my workouts. After a good run yesterday, I felt much better. Thanks for thinking of me. I am doing DE here in the states. I'm waiting for a DE match up, which could take a few more months. Till then I'm sitting pretty and keeping up with my therapy appointments. Glad I found a good therapist who let's me realize my feelings and share them... and helps me to keep things in perspective.

In the scale of things your wait for another 2 months is nothing .. it will be here before you know it!
Just finished the packing we fly out tom afternoon.. apparently its like -10 out there so have packed far too many clothes .. you know what its like! I am currently on 2 waiting lists .. I hate waiting but unfortunately thats life for us two at the moment .. being a control freak I just find it so hard not to be able to plan more than 2 months ahead at a time .. arghhhh
Anyway keep up the running and that will make you feel better and something you can control!
