Hi Ladies!

Mind if I join in? This will be my second IVF and I start Follistim tomorrow (no Lupron as I do Ganirelix and Menopur later this cycle). Looking at a retrieval around March 3rd or 4th.

Last time I had a great response: 20 eggs, 17 mature, 16 fertilized with ICSI. Only 4 left on day 5 transfer, used the two blasts and left the other two to grow and be frozen (didn't make it). No luck. They ran tests a few months ago and found I had a slight infection in my uterus. Gave me meds for it and also removed a polyp. Hopefully that will be it. Our issue is low sperm count. We've done 3 IUIs, 4 failed "natual" IVF's (the first three were cancelled due to early ovulation - two were turned into IUIs bringing the grand total to 5) and one failed traditional IVF.

We have two gorgeous children we adopted, 3 & 1, who keep me on my toes! They make the whole "bed rest" thing a little hard, but I figured if my mom could have 5 kids and still get pregnant, so can I :D

So good luck to everyone!
Me - 30
DH - 38
DS - 5 (adopted, Russia), DD 3 (adopted, Kyrgyzstan)
IVF 1-2: BFN

TBurks: Congrats on your 2nd beta!!! See you had nothing to worry about :)

Kate: When is your ultrasound? I think we may be having similar betas...(in DPO) 13: 344, 15: 1007. My next one is on Monday, which will be 19 DPO. If mine doubles every 48 hrs, it should be over 4000 on Monday. I can't wait to see how many we both have in there!! We only transfered 2 but I guess 1 could've split. Yikes!!!

Rosario: How was your beta, hun?

Mandeekins: How was your ultrasound?? I know you said you were going out with friends, but I'm dying to know!!!

Kcraven: I'm so sorry about you BFN!!! I'm glad you get to start soon with you FET. It's awesome you have so many frosties :)

Brown: Congrats on you BFP!!! Let us know what your number was. I have my next beta on Monday too.

Barb: Glad you saw a sac today! Sounds like good news to me!

Ok guys sorry to took me so long to respond i just arrived to NY from MA. I will be here this weekend. Well i got my call at around 415 and with all the sadness in the world I am informing you guys I am considered NOT PREGNANT my beta is only 5.3... The embie that implanted or at least tried too didn't make it. This is why my positives kept getting so light. I stopped medication today and will wait for my AF. I can't say I am having a regular AF just because I know I was pregnant at least for 2 days. Another sad episode in my life and I don't know how to really deal with it. I would have rather had a BFN with no HCG in my system then to hear "it isn't a viable pregnancy." They will check my levels on Monday again to r/o an etopic pregnancy which I highly doubt. I won't be able to start a new cycle right away since i have to wait for my new insurance plan to kick in which won't be until March 25th. I will be here for you guys and won't disappear!

Rosario: Oh, I am so sorry!! My last 3 pregnancies were like that...+HPT then a beta of like 13. They called mine "chemical" pregnancies which I think is totally insensitive. It sucks BIG time. That's all there is to it. Again, I am so sorry!

tburks, congrats on a great beta increase!!

Anxious, 8 is plenty. Sometimes I think you have better odds with a smaller batch because all the energy and care went into those few, so they should be higher quality. Besides, 8 is more of a medium-sized batch. And it only takes one anyway.

Chris, oh no! I hope you're wrong about AF! I've got my fingers crossed for implantation bleeding instead.

Molly, we don't really know that it's triplets. Just that these numbers are the right size for that. We'll know more at the ultrasound on Thursday. I started getting morning sickness around 5 1/2 weeks.

Lady_J, I hope you're wrong - I don't want to be the next octomom! About your cycle, I've had a couple cycles where I was ready at 6 or 7 days on stims and they resulted in a good number of eggs and sometimes pregnancy (ending in miscarriage, but that's another story).

Brown - CONGRATs on your BFP!!!!

Rosario - Hun, I am so sorry for you. I sure thought that the test were lighter just because you were POASing so much. I know how much this sucks. Can you start BCP's after this AF so once your insurance kicks in, in March you can start a new cycle? I know it isn't much of a comfort but the good point about this all is that now you know your body knows how to get PG. I think that is half the battle and with your next cycle your body will be more prepared.

As for me, BFN on HPT today. I still have some spotting so pretty sure it didn't work. I know a lot of ladies spot and still get a BFP so I still have a slight glimmer of hope. Tomorrow my sisters B-day so maybe I will bet a positive then. On another note, I got a call from my pharmacy yesterday evening. It was on my voicemail so i didn't actually talk to them. They were calling about a refill so now I am wondering if the nurse already called in my meds for my next cycle. Now I am curious if I can start after this AF. The RE's is not officially open today so I will have to wait till monday to find out. It would be awesome if I could start again next week.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Sorry not to post last night ladies...my internet went down right in the middle of me trying to post!

It's a shocker...there's just one healthy baby in there! :D Everything looked good, RE looked over my lining because of my spotting, he said there's no problems, the sack looked good all that jazz. And to top off a wonderful day...we got to see and hear the h/b!!! It was amazing!!! H/b is 123 and doc said it should be over 100 so he was happy! DH is very relieved; I think two would've been fun, but I'm extremely happy right now!

Now if I could just stop getting nauseated every half hour my world would be perfect...LOL

mandeekins - Congrats on seeing your little bean and that everything looks good. I know that must be the most amazing thing seeing the heart beat.

Wonderful news!! One healthy baby is GREAT!!! That is my prayer several times a day is that God keeps my babies healthy. I say my babies even tho I still don't know for sure yet. Ask and ye shall recieve , right!!

Rosario
So sorry about your loss. I think that would be so much harder knowing that it started out but didn't make it. I don't know about the rest of you but as soon as those eggs were fertilized I looked at them as my babies.
I know you are devistated, give yourself time to grieve and get right back to it and start all over again. When you finally have that little bundle of joy it will be worth all the pain and sacrifice.

CONGRATS to all of you who got your BFP!!!

As for me just hanging out till my U/S. I have been sooooo tired! I get up in the morning for about an hour then I go back to bed and sleep 3 more hours. I take a nap in the evening and just have no energy for nothing!! My breasts itch and I really think I'm having a boy cause I want to have sex ALL the time!! (you know that's a male thing, lol). I haven't felt sick yet but my belly looks like I'm 3 months already. Can't wear any of my jeans. I am wondering if my ovaries are still swollen. I still get pains in them like I did when I was stimming. Well, that is my update. Hope you all have a good weekend. DH went out of town for a few days and will be home today!! Can't wait to see him!

tburks - I'm having the same pains in the ovary area and the RE basically said they're going to feel that way for a bit. They've been stimulated so they swell, then they get a needle stuck in 'em and they swell, then as soon as that's over you get prego and they swell again!

So with your logic, I must be having a girl...LOL. My libido is non-existant. I've hit the nauseated stage, so maybe that's it! Can't wear my jeans I worked so hard to lose weight for 3 months ago...and I'm way tired too.

You should join on the pg after treatment board, we have a thread going for Oct mommies! Have fun with DH!

Rosario, I'm really sorry to hear about your BFN. You were so wrapped up in this, it must be that much harder for you to get the news. Sending you good thoughts ...

Shelley, sounds like you're right that we have similar numbers. It's nice to have some company on this. My latest beta yesterday (25 DPO) was 59,576. Crazy, huh? How are you feeling?

Brown, congratulations - YEAH!!!!!!

Welcome, babyluv!

Mandeekins, congrats on seeing the baby and the great heartbeat. The big beta numbers probably just mean he's really healthy!

Rosario- I am so sorry about your negative, and I am thinking about you. I am glad you will be able to start a second cycle soon.

mandeekins- I am so happy to hear your ultrasound went well, and you got to hear a heartbeat. You must be super excited. I went and bought the book what to expect when expecting and it is helping. Thanks for the advise.

Tburks- Glad everything is going well for you. When is your utlrasound?

As for me I have my 3rd beta on Monday, and today my breast started feeling a different kind of sore. They ache more now, so maybe that is a good sign. I am also super tired. We got home from dinner last night and I went to bed shortly afterwards. That is very unlike me, because I am a night owl. Maybe that is a symptom or I was just really tired. I am hoping Monday they give me an exact date for my ultrasound, and I am praying my beta numbers went up.

Molly23: Good Luck with your 3rd Beta on Monday! Get plenty of rest-- good for you and good for the baby--there's a lot going on in your body right now, no wonder you're tired!

AmFmBaby: hope you can skip out early today and take some time off. I'm sorry you didn't get the house, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise. You've got a lot of other stressors right now. Hope AF arrives so you can start soon.

kcraven: So sorry about your BFN. I hope you take some time for yourself and vent all you need:).

mandeekins: Congrats on your healthy singleton pregnancy! Hope you enjoy these next 9 months. It must have been so amazing to hear that healthy heartbeat!

tburks: Congrats again! Make sure you're getting lots of rest too.

Chris: So sorry about your BFN. I hope you can start a cycle again soon:). Hang in there!

babyluv: Welcome!

As for me, I'm having my ER on Monday!!! I have 18 follicles, but a lot of them are smaller. I had 19, 19, 12, 17, 16, 13, 14, 14, 12 and 11. What are the chances that the smaller (12-14) follicles will be mature by Monday?????????? I'm just praying for good quality and maybe a few frosties?? What do you think??
