Hey girls... I have been a bad, bad, sista. BUT, now that I am back home with high-speed internet, i am all caught up! So here goes...

Vicky: 2 days 'til Argentina? Fab. I hope you have a great visit and that it seems to last forever. This is great timing for some good BFF time.

Robbo: 360 miles from your clinic??? Wow, that sounds like a total pain. Glad to hear they weren't concerned.

Melissa: total bummer on the whole prep thing. (but i have to say, the survivor "poop, watch, pause" thing cracked me up! thanks for the good laugh!) Sounds like a horrible experience. glad to hear they weren't alarmed by what they saw. Will be looking forward to hearing your "all clear" report in a few weeks. As for the wedding. Wow. Having your mother stroke out and be gone for your wedding. Total bummer. But it sounds like things worked as well as possible considering the situation. They must be very happy with you!

Angie: Now... as a disclaimer... both in med school and residency, i avoided all things GYN. BUT, i believe you can have bleeding with anovulatory (no ovulation) cycles (I think the AF is usually irregular and variable. It can, though be completely absent, or can be very heavy or prolonged). Probably not helpful. And, not having PCOS, not sure how that affects it... I just hope AF stays away so that you and dh can have a long, romantic anniversary wkend. Enjoy!!!!

Jenn: LOVE the purple privates. it is a sisterhood classic story! I am so glad to hear stims are going very well... much better than last time. Wooohooo! You go girl!

Meg: WAAAAT? they are taking "us" off scans cold turkey. Do they not understand we need a sweetpea (yes, fee i am a fan of this one!) report on a regular basis? After being monitored so closely for IF treatments, then numerous ultrasounds early in the preg, I can't imagine how it would feel to be cut off. I think sweetpea is just kicking to let you know she's all right, ultrasound or not!

Coco: Fab to hear from you! I look forward to hearing of your exploits now that you will be footloose and fancy-free! btw... are you going w/parents to China??

Wanna: any updates? The only twin names i can come up with right now are remus and romulus (having just been in Rome), which are totally unacceptable. So i will keep thinking....

Fee: Oh, girl. The whole Root Beer Float thing is as american as apple pie. SOOOO good. Was our fave dessert growing up. And if you put the ice cream into the (big) cup first, then pour the rootbeer over it, there is this kind of foam that builds up around the ice cream. Fab. Sometimes people will do Coke Floats. Same idea, but not as good without the richness of the root beer IMHO.

Nickster: ahhh, cleaning can wait. I hope you had a fab wkend!

So... as for me.
Let's just say that BIL's arrest eventually caused a bit of a breakdown on MIL's part (not a surprise) and the rest of us bore the brunt of her lashings. Had i been able to access the internet at the time, you would have had one ENORMOUS rant on your hands! You may anyway in the next few days. But yes, at least his siblings (and siblings-in-law) are grateful that he is in jail and therefore (probably) detoxing and relatively "safe".

My SIL (not N that i am very close to...), we will call her "T" has an US today (she is about 12 wks preg) and they think she might have twins. Great... just what i need is for this SIL to get preg with twins. This is her first preg with this husband (she has 2 kids from prev husband), and all she has done since they got married is complain about him looking at other women, him on internet porno sites, and how maybe they should get divorced. I KNOW it isn't right, but it will piss me off a bit if she is having twins (why so much more than if she is having only one child... i don't know... maybe b/c i want twins).

One more venting... I told the scheduler at work that i was getting in VERY late Tuesday night (i.e., flight was scheduled to land at 11pm), and didn't want to work Wednesday am if at all possible due to jet lag, etc. So last Thursday, i emailed her and asked her to send me the schedule for this week, that i wouldn't have email access until very late Tuesday, and i wanted to know what my schedule would be for this Thurs and Fri. I never heard from her. When we landed in Neward, i had no voice mail from her. So i called the office (10 min before they closed) and asked when my first shift was.... they said "tomorrow (Wed) morning". I was all WHATTTTT? I wasn't supposed to work unless it was an emergency as i am getting in late. So she said she would get a hold of the scheduler and someone would call me before i got back on the plane. Well, unfortunately our plane was delayed for a few hours (!). When i still hadn't heard from the scheduler, i called her cell phone and left her a message to call me and tell me whether or not they REALLY needed me this morning.

No message. I got home at 2:30 AM (!) and there was an email with the 2nd edition schedule (ummmm, never received the FIRST) and sure enough they had me working this am. So, responsible as i am, i came to work this am after traveling for 24 hrs and only sleeping 3 hrs (actually, wasn't able to fall back asleep once off the plane, so i have been up until 1am). I show up before 8am, and everyone looks at me totally surprised to see me.... "we thought you were still out of town", etc. They had arranged coverage.... but no one told me!!!!!! Grrrrr. I stayed up most of the night for NOTHING! Screw them. i stayed here anyway, and they have to pay me for it. D*mn, sometimes i wish i was more irresponsible. I am heading home after being here for 2 hrs this am.. run a few errands.. then it will be NAP TIME for me!

Ok, enough b*tching (oh, but really, is there ever REALLY enough b*tching??? ). I have reconsidered... and am thinking that i will cycle in July. Very apathetic about it, but that hasn't changed in the last few months, so probably won't anytime soon. I will have to decide for sure in the next few weeks... but it would be nice to get another under my belt...

Hope you are all well!

Yeah!! Sassy is back!!! That really sucks about going to work and then having them ask why you are there. I don't funtion on little sleep. I am a total b@tch!

Have to go back tomorrow for another scan as suspected. This is so the Dr. can see it all (it just wouldn't be right if only the nurse got to see my parts this week!) and she will definately tell me when trigger is.

Vicky- Are you packed yet? What will you do with Sanson while you are gone? I just hate it when we have to board Shelby. Usually we drop her off at Grandma's house (my mom)! My parents spoil her rotten. She gets a boiled egg with her food at their house. Gross!

Jenn! That's so exciting. So, does your re do 3 day or 5 day transfers?

Hey Meg- they usually do a 3 day transfer. I am asking about that tomorrw when I see my Dr. I really wish they would do a 5, because I would like to know if they last that long!

Sassy....welcome back!!!!!!!!!!!, I'm so happy we have you back here with the sistas!!!, we missed you!. Ohh about your SIL having twins, I totally understand your feelings, a friend of mine thought she was having twins at some point and to be honest with you I felt a bit of anger, not at her I hope, at the situation, thinking, why on earth I cannot have twins (or at least a singleton) after doing everything I do, and she is having twins by only fu**ing her husband one month????????, but what can we do, my DH tells me that anger won't solve anything, that we have to have positive thinking and know we will be parents no matter what......hope he is right.....

Jenn.........woohooooooooo, so ER on Saturday!!!, that's fab news, then on Tuesday or Thursday you would be having ET and finally the dreaded 2ww!!!!!, you are right, time flyes!!!!!!!!!!. About what will I do with Sanson, just like you, he will stay at Grandpa's house (my parents), so I hope he behaves......(which is not his style  )

Ange.....have fun in your anniversary trip!!!!, I hope AF doesn't show up in the middle of your trip, although you know how she is, always there when you don't want to see her......

Meg.....so did you decide which will be the excuse for your next scan yet?.....

About my trip, I still haven't packed anything. I think a whole bag will be only presents and things my friends asked me to take them (in between those a breast pump  ). And I have a terrible dilemma!!!!!!!!!!, my winter clothes are soooooooooo outdated!!!!!(terrible, terrible for a sista!!), as you may know here in South Florida we almost never have cold days, maybe a week or so in the winter, that's it. So the last time I bought winter clothes was when I lived in Argentina (almost 4ys ago), and now, it's winter in Argentina and almost summer here (needless to say there are no winter clothes on sale anymore!!!!). So will you guys accept me back even after being the shame of the sisterhood down in Argentina?????

Hello ladies. Don't have time to do personals right now, as my students are almost done with their assignment. Just wanted to follow up on my long ago rant...
Okay, so my neighbor is having me host her baby shower. Let me reiterate, that she did not ask me if I would mind doing this, she just started telling everyone that I WAS doing this. So, I emailed a friend of hers hoping she would do it instead...no such luck. She isn't even going to help me.
Anyhow, on to the continuation of this rant. So, another teacher did offer to help the other day. She is so sweet and wonderful. She said lets just keep it simple, do it here at school in August and just serve cake and punch. YEA!!!
Well, I told my neighbor this and she said that would be fine, but she also wanted me to host a shower this summer. She actuarlly wanted TWO...let me say that again TWO showers. I just about flipped out. She knows that we are doing IVF, and this is costing me $15000. She finally came back to me and said she guessed we could just do the one shower in the summer, but she wants it really big. As of today her guest list is around 50 people. She also said she wants more than just cake and punch. maybe I should just let her host her own shower, but let me pay for it. The nerve of some people. I wish I had the nerve to just tell her NO, I am not going to host your shower. Just can't find it in my heart to do that.
Okay, just had to get that off my chest. I promise I will post personals later today.

Robo--That is so ridiculous. That lady needs major help. I can't believe the nerve of her! I definitely give her my Punter-of-the-month vote!

Okay a few personals...sorry won't hit everyone, but know that I am thinking of everyone.

Jenn- I bet you are excited about heading back into the classroom. I got through phases where I want to do anything but teach, however, you really can't beat our schedules. I love having the summers off (sort of). How exciting that you too will be teaching 3rd grade. Maybe you can share some of your clever teaching ideas 8)
I had to laugh when you said your dog's name is Shelby. That is my daughters name. hehehehe
I cannot believe that you are having ER on Saturday. Things have really gone fast for you. I hope it all goes well. Wish I were there too.

Vicky- Argentina???? You are so lucky. I would love to go somewhere other than the states. I asked my dh the other day if he had any interest of traveling abroad, and he said NO WAY!!! Guess I'm stuck here.
I am sure you will have a great time with your BFF. It's always fun to visit with our loved ones.
As far as clothes...while we may have to go into a private session I think we will all agree it's okay for you to wear outdated clothes. WE all understand. You are just lucky they still fit. I am not sure I could get into clothes that were 4 years old!

Angie- As far as your AF and ovulation question goes...I am no expert, but when we first started ttc, the doctor had me do BBT charts to see if I was ovulating. He thought I was since AF showed up like clock work. However, we soon discovered that I did not ovulate. So I did the Chlomid, and it didn't help either. Go figure.

Melissa- YOu sound like you really love your job. You really saved the day. Wish we would have hired a good wedding planner like yourself.

Sassy- Could not believe your work story. The sad thing is if you hadn't shown up for work, they wouldn't have had a replacement for you. It's a never ending story. You're better than me. I would have had a few choice words to say.

Someone, and I can't remember who off the top of my head asked why I had a red flag chart. well I did my IVF at one clinic, but as it was 360 miles from home, I quickly (after 8 weeks) chnaged to a local OBGYN. Also, I started spotting from the time I was about 4 weeks pregnant until almost my due date. So, we were just keeping a very close eye on things. Of course that meant lots of US :D
Well, after almost 4 weeks of bleeding I have FINALLY stopped. Yippee!!! Dh is so happy
I will start my Lupron on Tuesday. I am so excited to finally get the ball rolling.
