Sonya- dont know what to tell you about the HCG still showing up but since you love to POAS keep doing it until they are blank! Then you'll know for sure.

Tammy- Yay for starting your stims! How are you feeling? Are you doing the same protocal as last time?

Karin- So sorry about your SIL telling you to just adopt. Dont worry soon you will get a BFP and she will be none the wiser. Dont let her get to you and make you stress!

Back on Monday for another beta.. Headed to
my friends wedding tomorrow need to be strong
and put on my happy face. I have gotten so good
a pretending. They said they will do another ultrasound
next week if my number keeps rising :-s

And 15 for Nancy? Anything over 10 is so unbelieveable. I was so bloated with 8. I'm not sure how anyone gets off the couch with more than that.

I'm confused...I went for my checkup and my RE informs me that my follicles are smaller than they should be at this stage of stimulation. I'm waiting on my labwork to come back to find out whether or not my E2 has risen. If it has risen significantly since Tuesday then we will continue, otherwise, he is suggesting cancellation and starting over without the lupron. Apparently I ovulated right through the lupron initially and am now oversupressed. He says that with my age and history "we can do better than this". Needless to say, I'm sad, but praying for good news.

Krys; I'm so very sorry for this. I've been there... distraction works for me, maybe the wedding will offer a few hours of that. Keep us posted and know you aren't alone.

AFM-went to RE straight from working all night...lovely!! was fallin asleep in waiting room RE said he saw 6AF on each side so =12AFC he sid my lining was 2-3mm and everything was PERFECT and much better that my first baseline back on my first IVF cycle...so here I go..STIMS!!!! Start today and back monday for u/s and bw. 450Follistim w/150mg Menopur and estrogen for 3 days as well! So excited Waiting to hear if I get standyby at work tonight (kinda like oncall) or if I gotta go in...would be nice to stay home but Im sure I would be up all night we"ll see

Congrats to the ER trio!!!!

I'm officially confused with all the abbreviations and the IVF medications.

Most of you are using Lupron... and I don't see that in my list of medications. According to the tentative schedule I was given by the doctor i'm waiting to get my period (AF?) and i'm starting two days after with Follistim. 5 days after is Menopur and then Ganirelix. And this is all tentative...


What is the difference between stims and lupron?....
ER = Egg retrieval
ET = Egg transfer
AFM?
dpo?
DH
SIL
POAS
PMA
trigger?

Sorry to ask so many questions, but i'm new to this forum and to the IVF. I'm sure I'll have more questions....

ER Trio: Excellent job ladies!!! Lots of great eggs!! Hope you three are all resting up and getting ready to let those embies snuggle in soon! How many are you each transferring?

Meinemo: You sound like you are well into Crazytown, girl! I am right behind you...already plotting when to POAS...yicks....poor DH is gonna have his hands full with me! And with IUI instead of IVF, I'm not sure how to do my timing, but since I triggered (this morning), I may do as Sonya did and get a "baseline" with testing early to watch the trigger go out of my system.

Sonya: It is looking good! I am cautiously excited for you!! You deserve this BFP!!

Riogirl: Thanks for the acupuncture advice...I will stay still!!

AFM: I am feeling really tired...gonna head to bed soon. Sorry I didn't hit everyone with personals this evening. Gotta go into work early tomorrow, and then for my IUI at 12:30 and then straight to the acupuncturist.

Oh...and not everyone does Lupron. I didn't for my fresh cycle. Lupron supresses your ovaries where stims, like Follistim, stimulate your ovaries and make you produce eggs. Hope that helps!
