Summer Board 2011

I am now beside myself worried. After having the 5 positive HPT since Sunday o has light pink dicharge last night with pretty bad lower abdominal pain. I went ahead and inserted the crinone and went to bed. Woke ip around 1:45. As o hot ip I defiantly felt se abdominal pain which subsided after I got ip for a few minutes. I went to the bathroom yo urinate and sat there for a few minutes. When I whipped I noticed what was dark red discharge but it wad very strange, not like a period where it's fluid blood. This was small grainy clumps of the crinone, which I am use to but it was dark red. I wiped a few times and got the same thing. I sm so hurt, nervous, sad, and confused. I don't even know what to think. Does anyone know whats going on? God, what is going on? God, please let my embabies be ok. Please!!!!!

wehavehope - im sure it is implantation blood, and plz try to speak with ur nurse or RE.

mcast: welcome to the board and sorry to hear about ur BFN it is the IVF u know not everyone will get lucky on their 1st try. all the ladies here are wonderful and ready to help u as much as they can.

Fruit-thank you for your support. Do you realy think that is what may be happening. Even though it's five days after my first positive HPT? I will definantely call my RE this morning. Thank you again.

Mcast-welcome. I am so sorry about the negative Beta. I completely understand what your going through. We went through IVF on May and got a negative BFP in June. What I can tell you is that this journey ia filled with bumps and hard falls, but that is no reason to give up on what you want most. We are here for you and I wish you all the best for this next cycle.

WeHaveHope~ Try to hang in there, call your RE and see what they say. That would totally freak me out too but try to stay calm. Praying for you!!! Keep us updated.

Wehavehope- Please try not to worry too much! The Crinone can irritate the cervix, which can cause some mild bleeding. When I got my BFP on my last cycle, I had some bleeding from progesterone suppositories. My RE said that the cervix gets very fragile with the hormones of pregnancy, and if you bumped the cervix with the Crinone, it probably made you bleed a little. Hope this helps!

Mcast- I'm so sorry that you are going through this! My first IVF did not stick either, and I was devastated. All I can say is that the doctors are very good at evaluating each cycle and determining what can be changed in a future cycle to increase the chances of success. Don't give up hope!

Thanks for sharing everyone, although its sad to hear about the dissapointments is also so encouraging to hear about the successes. So nice to not feel alone. I have my first blood test on Aug 3rd after a day 5 morula transfer on Monday (my first IVF cycle). I'm really nervous but now know there is a place I can share my success or failure with those who have been through what's I've been through and understand. Good Luck to everyone!
