Jemma honey so sorry to hear about SIL. Cancer is such a ***** and I wish they would hurry and for a cure for all the types so people wouldn't have to suffer anymore. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Tex sweetie I have a tip for your prenats and the gagging as I have the same issue w/ regular multi-vits. My SIL told me to take them right after dinner. Then your stomach is full and the vits won't be a prob. I thought she was crazy at first but it really works. I don't gag and I don't throw em up anymore.

As for me I have a question for you ladies. Do you know if DH has to be at the injection class? I will be calling my clinic later today, but I am hoping you can lift my fear. DH told me this morning that he doesn't want to go tomorrow and that I should put it off for another week or until January. My heart felt like it broke, if I wait another week then I won't get my meds in time to start on the 24th. And if I wait til January then I have been taking these stupid BCP for nothing. I am praying that I can just go alone, or maybe just take someone else with me. DH already knows how to give all types of shots because of his military training.
Any info you ladies have would be so helpful. Thank you in advance.

Im sorry your DH is acting that way. Im sure he has some anxiety just like we do when we start a cycle.
My DH did not go to the shot training. I just came home and showed him how to do it. He leanred really fast and he is the best now!!!
Good luck to you. I hope everything goes well. This will be my 4th cycle and I can give myself the progesterone shots if I need to now. It just takes a lot of concentration and your done!! So you will be fine. My DH doesnt like when give myself shots because he wants to be part of it.

At my clinic we did not have aclass. On the day that i got my drugs i was shown what to do. I then told my d/h. this was the same at my previous clinic as well. So you should be ok to go on your own tomorrow. Best of luck. Your D/h will come round it is stressfull for them to.

As expected, it is another BFN for me. Just took the call from the clinic. Have spoken to dh and my Mum. Neither were easy calls but helped as everyone was prepared for what I had to say already.
Dh & I are going to go on holiday and forgetting about 2006. Feel just completely numb.
Review just scheduled for Jan 10th so with Xmas hopefully not too far away. Will see then whether we go for another Fresh cycle or use the snow babies from cycle 1.

SIL found out yesterday her IVF was a BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hopefully this means our luck will be changing soon!!!!
trying to decide if we will do assisted hatching or not,
i go in tomorrow at 11am for Accu. transfer at 11:30 then another accu.
and back to work for me.

Well I just called my clinic and the lady was so rude to me....said DH had to be there. I of course began to cry and then said that DH isn't giving me the shots anyways, so can I bring the person who is. SHe said FINE. So yes it was a lie but at least I can keep on my schedule!

Jemima sweetie i was so worried about you i am so sorry for your loss my heart goes out to you ... i read about your DH wanting to start adoption do you know how long adoption takes in your country?...i know here in USA its about a year so once you do all the paper work its a waiting game but if you dont feel ready then just tell your hubby that for you to give your ivf the best chance you need to keep your heart focused on it that doing adoption right now wouldnt be fair to the child ???thinking of you hugs

TC hey there my hubby is also ex military and a nurse so we didnt have to attend the injection class at all they gave us a video if we needed it but they where fine about us not going i know my hubby does them all day so no way would he have gone to a class(sometimes my sore butt wishes he had...LOL)
