Thanks for all the hugs my way!! I have a follow up appt. with my Dr. on Nov. 8. I have 8 embies on ice so will go the FET route. But, I have reconsulted my holistic Dr. and my thyroid is VERY swollen. (I have very small benign tumors on my thyroid) I was on a lot of holistic supplements which are frowned apon by traditional MDs when trying to get pregnant so I stopped taking ALL of them. I also have Fibromyalgia which for whatever undiagnostic reasons always makes things a little harder for me. No reason for it, it just happens... but that's just another thing to obsess about. So, that being said I am not going to do the FET until I can get my body back to where it was before I started the IVF treatments. So probably at least a 6 month wait for me. This time around I am going to do this in tandom with my IVF Dr. and my Holistic Dr. (who by the way is also an MD that practiced traditional medicine for 15 years before going the holistic route so he's not some herb and berry nutter) I'll be checking in on all you girls. And sending lots of sticky baby dust your way.

I am VERY bloated and I did not have that when I did it last February. I also can't eat very much without feeling like I swallowed a basketball. It doesn't take much at all to get me full. My bb are very sore but I had that symptom last time. I also have very bad heartburn. I can drink a glass of water and I have heartburn.

I am not telling my husband yet. He wants this so bad and is very guarded from last time. I have a feeling I am pregnant and the test says that I am but I want to be sure when I tell him. I just don't want to break his heart.

I hid both tests so he couldn't find them. The last time I did IVF the the HCG was out of my system in 10 days (10,000 IU). It has been 15 days BUT I had an HCG booster about 6 days ago. It was only a quarter of that so I am sure that it is out but I just want to be sure. I would think if a little was still in there that the line would at least be faint but the line is pretty normal. I'm still not getting my hopes up just yet.

Oh, and last time I did IVF I did the HPT way earlier than this and it was negative all the way up until my BETA.

Another symptom that I have is mild cramping (not like AF) and lots of headaches!

Hello everyone. Only 2 more days before my pregnancy test and I am getting so excited. Since this is my first time I am new to this. I don't really know that I have any symptoms. My stomach has been upset all week AGAIN., some headaches, bbs not really sore, and a bit of mild cramping on the left side. I know each womans body is different so I try not to read into it.
Wow, so many BFPs on here. That is awesome. I hope we will have many more including me.LOL.Congrats.

To my fellow testers on Monday, I think- Kellym and Kimberli, Best of Luck. I opted not to do a home pregnancy test since they aren't always that reliable. Tempting but I chose not to. I am thinking of you girls and I hope we all gets POSITIVES, BFPs.

Nicaliw......welcome to our thread!!!!, good luck with your ER and 2ww in November, you are almost there!!!!!. I also did ICSI (in all my cycles actually), so if you have any questions let me know. I wish you the best!!!!

Shantell......congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!, you must be so happy (and nervous too!!! ), I remember when I did my first HPT, I was so happy, but immediately I started freaking out "what if it is a chemical, what if, what if ", it is insane!!!. Try to enjoy on a day by day basis (look who's talking, nerve-wreck girl ). Keep us posted!! I am also having horrible heartburn, I am with you on that one!!!

As per me, I am still having this freaking spotting (pardon my french ), it is driving me insane, everytime I feel like it is the end, it gets me soooo scared. I wonder if it is the suppositories (I am on PIO shots + suppositories that were added on Monday), I am thinking of calling my RE and asking if I can stop the suppositories and increase the PIO instead (imagine how crazy this drives me that I chose PIO shots instead of suppositories!!!!!!!!!! ). I am eagerly waiting for Tuesday to see if my beta is still increasing, please keep your fingers crossed!!!!!!

Yeah, I keep second guessing the test. I have taken so many of the stupid things that I was determined that they didn't work with my pee! I have taken 3 tests in 24 hours. I keep thinking that if I keep taking tests the line won't go away!

I am afraid to tell anyone because after 4 years of trying, EVERYONE will have their heart broken if I tell them it is postive and it turns out to be chemical.

Vicky, what symptoms do yoy have besides spotting???

Shantell- I don't blame you for not telling anyone. I wouldn't till it is official from the dr even though it is probably the real deal! I'm so excited for you.

Vicky- Hang in there. Everything is probably fine but I agree with you and check in with your RE just to be sure. I'd be paranoid as well.

Kelly and Baby 08- How are you girls doing? How are you handling the suspense? I know Kelly you are bummed but hang in there. Baby 08 I chose not to do an hpt as well. I have one in the house leftover from last time and am very tempted to use it I know my dh wants me to. But I chose not to. I'll let my nurse be the one to tell me yes or no. Only 2 days to go woo hoo!

I feel horrible....my internet has been down since the day after I got my BFP and then I have been busy with grad school. I wanted to cry and wrap my arms around you girls with the BFN, but please DO NOT give up hope. I know how you feel and it was so hard for me when I got my BFN. I really want to suggest the ANJI meditation cd if you girls give IVF a try again. Heck, I will let you borrow my copy!! It really changed my image of myself from being infertile to much more of a positve mental attitude after my first failed IVF. We are all here for you, so please vent and discuss as much as you want when you need to.

I go in for my second beta tomorrow.....

To test or not to test. I'm so tempted to do it. But don't want tp bear the possibility of a BFN . Part of me is like get it over with and start dealing but the other part of me feels like this time is it and to see a neg. will be devastating.
If I do test which I am leaning that way it will be tomorrow morning. Still debating it though.

Hi Everyone! Boy this thread has been busy today!

Well, as you know I got my hpt bfn yesterday and today AF arrived with avengence so I know it is officially over. That and my clinic gave me a review appointment on Tuesday which I didn't think was a great sign.
But I am actually doing okay about it today. Yesterday I was a mess but after 6 bfn or chemicals up to this point I guess I am getting used to it. I hope that on Tuesday my RE can give me a plan and one that we can active asap.

i am actually going to ask him whether we can start stimming immediately for another cycle this month. When I go in on monday for my beta I am also going to ask them to do my day 3 bloods. That way we'll at least have completed that requirement. I'll be seeing him on day 4 (instead of day 3) so I don't know whether they'll start stims on day 4. I may post that question on the forum.

Vicky - congrats on your third beta! I don't think you need to worry, it is all looking great!!!

Shantell - congratulations! enjoy this time because it sure sounds like a good bfp (not a chemical) to me!!!

Kimberli and Baby08 - you guys are doing great! Can't wait to hear of your bfp on Monday!

I'll pop in next week to see how all these bfp are coming along! hopefully I'll get to enjoy mine in a few months!

Hi everyone-
Well this morning I couldn't stand it anymore and took the hpt that has been tempting me. AND it a BFP! I've never had a BFP on a hpt so hopefully it is the real deal. I do the blood test tomorrow. I'm still a bit leary and won't be totally excited until I get word from the dr but I really think is it!

Kimberli, congrats on your BFP! If your blood test is tomorrow, you can bet it is the real thing!

After 48 hours (today) after my last HPT, I did another test and still a BFP!!!!!!!!! The line is still very dark and not fading a bit. It has been 7 days since my small booster (2,500 IU) and I have read that it is more than likely out of my system. I read that if that was it that by now the line would be very faint but that is not the case....line is ever darker!!!! Plus, my last invitro it only took 10 days for 10,000 IUs to clear my system so that is about 1,000 IUs per day...I would be way past that with 7 days. I'm still not telling my husband though until I get the OK from the doctor. It is so hard not to tell anyone. You guys are the only people that I am discussing this with!!!!!

I have to say though that I have many different signs that my last IVF that ended with a BFN. My boobs are much sorer this time and I am exhausted by 8:00 every evening. I am just too excited to sleep!

Kelly......I am so sorry about AF arriving, in a way you already knew, but when it really comes it still is very frustrating, I know. I really hope your RE allows you to start stimming right away so we can see your BFP soon!!!!!. I will be following your progress

As for me, still spotting, but it never changes the quantity or anything, and the nurses, RE and even RE's from a forum were RE's answer you, they all tell me not to worry, oh well, I guess I should pay more attention to them .......... (I am so stubborn!!)

Thanks Shantell and Vicky for the congrats. I really hope this is it. I guess I'll find out definitely tomorrow. However I do feel a bit more relaxed going to the appt now.

Shantell- It sounds like your tests are for real. I can't blame you though for being skeptic. I feel the same way. However, I did tell my husband this morning just so someone else could see the + sign so I wasn't going crazy. However we're not telling anyone till its definite.

Vicky- I'm sure you're doing fine and that the numbers will increase. It sucks that you have spotting, but thankfully it's nothing to worry about.

How is everyone else doing?
