Hows everyone feeling!!!

Sweet - glad to hear everything is going well for you! Like you I am looking forward to going to my OB because these long drives are killing me and my vacation time ugh!!!

Nikki - I'm an IT Administrator oh yeah big geek!!! just deal with computers all day long lol..

Lucky you that you get to do u/s and droppler thingy anytime you want!! I have been thinking about buying fetal heart droppler but then again I dunno...

I would prolly be addicted to it and listen to heartbeat like every 30 seconds.. LOL

nicaliw- I am a general dentist at a public health clinic. My commute is about 40 min both ways, I used to enjoy the drive but the nausea is not fun. Today I brought a baggie with me b/c I thought I was going to have to pull over and vomit!

becca- I would't be too concerned about the spotting as long as its brown, maybe its just discharge? The u/s should be able to verify everything is ok, right? As for your incredible shrinking bladder, I have to same thing. I used to could sleep through the night with a full bladder, but now I get up just to do a tiny tinkle. Sucks. Last night I tried not to drink anything right before bed & it helped me.

monkey- isn't it exciting when you get to take the step and go to your regular OB! how many weeks are you now?

steph- I don't know who called it morning sickness cause for me its all day sickness. I was ok last week, but then saturday it hit me bad. Since then its been toast, crackers and soups. I don't dry heave, but the nausea is constant and sometimes so bad I get dizzy. I had DH buy me some inger ale and crackers. Hey, maybe I'll lose the weight I gained during stimms!

sameera- that is so funny about buying the doppler, you would probably just sit at your desk with headphones attached! You seem very cheery....is your MS bad?

God Bless!

Chelly - OMG you are so right about me sitting at my desk and listening to the droppler like crazy!!! LOL funny part is that I would prolly be doing that no kidding..

My MS is better because I have been taking Zofran for that and that med is awesome! I take one as soon as I feel like I'm getting sick and within 20 mins it makes my MS go away!!!

The only thing with that med is that it doesn't help your tiredness, exhaustion and what not.. cause it makes you more tired!!!

Has anyone of you girls felt this - I feel lots of pressure on my uterus and what not.. especially like when I sit or get up or whatever I feel so much pressure and it's really tender too!

I guess that's from Uterus streching or whatever but dang - it makes you wanna go to pee like 15 times a day..

sameera- Sometimes I do experience pressure...I have been having sharp gas pains and cramps too (sorry TMI). I think the pressure is normal...my guess is the uterus is starting to expand and push other things out of the way...plus our ovaries are still swollen, so there isn't much room in there!
I usually sleep on my tummy, but ever since I got pregnant I can only sleep on my side. If I try to sleep on my tummy, I feel like something is stretching...same thing when I raise my arms all the way.
I also started sleeping with a pillow between my legs, and that seems to help with my back pain (I think that is more an occupational hazard vs. a pregnancy thing)
I've never heard of Zofran...is it a prescription med? DId your RE give you that? Hmmm, I may have to look into that!
God Bless!

Chelly - What you basically described is what I feel - LOL I didn't wanted to put all the gassy stuff in their but hey at least you knew where I was coming from LOL

lately feel like i am constipated too! ugh - all these symptoms are driving me insane..

I miss sleeping on mytummy too! but been sleeping on the side with a pillow in between my legs - kinda help!

yes, that is a prescription medicine that my RE prescribed for my nausea and it's wonderful. I would defininitely say you should ask for it if your nausea is really bad.

I get those aches and pains too. Not so much pressure unless I lie on my tummy. I think I'm obsessing way too much over every little symptom. This morning I must have had a bad mood swing but I believed everything was going wrong because my boobs didn't hurt quite so much as usual and the nausea had gone. Well, now the nausea is back, so I'm sure everything is fine. I wish this was a little easier. When I was pregnant with my son (natural conception) I never worried about everything like I do now......this is tough.

I have been thinking about buying or renting a doppler......checking at work may not be enough (I know I'm crazy). I just feel like I need lots of reassurance that the baby is still alive. The miscarriage really affected my confidence in things going well.

On a more positive note.....no cramping or spotting is a good sign and the nausea and extreme fatigue are reasurring in an odd way.

Steph....your MS sounds awful, I feel bad for you. Can't your doc prescribe you a littel zofran or something? That sounds miserable. Thank God you're not trying to work while you're so sick.

Anyone have an ultrasound soon? Hope you're all feeling ok (Steph I hope your MS goes away)

sameera- I don't know about you, but since the only things I can eat are soup and crackers, yes I am having constipation issues too. I think my prenatal vitamin has a stool softner, but I might have to find something else with fiber that will help my with my 'business'. Its just the thought of eating meat or vegetables absolutely grosses me out! No vomited yet though.

nicaliw- I am super moody too. Everything bothers me and I want to snap at my poor DH all the time. I can't help it, plus I work with low income people everyday whose IQ might possible be that of a potato...not to be mean but my patients is definetly getting thin. I just keep counting down the hours until I can go home!

Nicali and ladies,
Wow, for all of you experiencing all these symptoms, I sure can relate, although I don't remember them popping up so early on. Regarding the peeing- that is me to a tee! It feels like major bladder pressure, but then once I get to the toilet, I can only squeeze out a scant amount. (Some times of the day are better than others). I have had UTI issues in the past, so when this first started for me, I was sure it was a UTI. Turns out, it is not. It is just one of the joys of early mommyhood!

Wishing all of you relief from your symptoms ASAP. Have a great day.

Chelly - i know what you mean - I dunno but I need to find something that's gonna help me with the constipation issue too! because It's driving me insane and I just want to feel normal!!!

With my first one I didn't go thru half the symtomps that I am going thru right now - so wierd.. I mean how can each pregnancy be that different..

but I really would like to know when our bodies will be normal without any ovary pain, gas, constipation and moodyness and everything..

Ugh!!! anyways I think i might leave work early today - I don't feel too good.

Hi girls-
Ok, this might be TMI but I have a question. Are any of you experiencing an increase in vaginal discharge? I have had a lot since getting PG, then last night when I wiped there was a bit of pink discharge....just that once and not since then. I totally freaked out, now everytime I go to wipe my heart skips a beat. I wasn't sure if it was from my vagina or my 'behind' since I have been straining a bit to do the 'doo'. I don't have any cramping or anything, just really bad MS. Oh, and I have also been having some very erotic dreams lately. Anyone else??

sameera- I dont know if our bodies will ever be 'normal' again! Since this is my 1st PG I def don't know what to expect. Its a bit disgusting, with all the gas, pain, constipation, discharge etc.

God Bless!

Chelly, don't worry about increased vaginal discharge. I remember that with my first pregnancy as being because of the cells being made to form your mucus plug. Of course this time I don't notice it cause I have constant leakage of prometrium and estrace...yuk.

Have had plenty to take my mind of being pregnant.....unfortunately I have an abcessed tooth and need to have a root canal. I'm a little scared but I know it has to be done. Please don't tell me any scary stories about root canals cause I'm trying to stay calm. I feel a bit sorry for myself though cause I have this really painful hemmaroid which doesn't want to heal, I have an abcessed tooth and now I have a sore throat, headache and slight fever......what the ****??? Oh well, I guess it just all happens at once sometimes. Good thing is my MS is not giving me too much of a bad time......phew.

Chelly - Yeah, don't worry about discharge it's normal I had that happen to me A LOT with my first pregnancy - not so much with this pregnancy atleast not yet..

It's all those hormones your body is producing and that's prolly what's causing a lot of discharge!

Erotic dreams - oh yeah big time! i have been having those since we did transfer and omg it has not stopped! i think it's that progesterone meds that we are taking.

Sweet - How are you feeling?

Niki - good luck with your root canal hope it doesn't hurt you!

niki- try to stay calm, a root canal is not that bad, just time consuming. Since you are in your 1st trimester, I would recommend notifying your OB that you need emergency dental care; some OB's are picky with what anesthetics & antibiotics your dentist can use. Personally, if you can afford it I would go to an endodontist unless your dentist is good at root canals. You will be fine, you need to have the procedure done b/c the abscess can make you really sick! If you want more detailed info, just PM me. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice girls! I haven't had anymore pink discharge so I think I'm ok....just crazy MS or rather, all day sickness. I'm going nuts waiting for my u/s...I keep having nightmares that there won't be a heartbeat. I know I'm being paranoid, I just want to see the heartbeat and I'll feel much better.

God Bless!

Chelly, thanks for the reassurance. My dentist did send me right over to an endodontist. He gave me a Rx for an anitbiotic and some pain meds but told me not to take either one unless my abcess became worse. Right now its not actually painful at all, wierd.....gotta say I'm not complaining. He also made the root canal appointment for after my first OB visit so I could check in with them. Its reassuring that your advice matches the dentist plan. I'm glad the pink stuff went away. When is your US? I remember being so convinced that there wasn't going to be a heartbeat.....but there was, and there will be for you too.

niki- When is your root canal appt? What antibiotic did he give you? If its penicillin or amoxicillin those are safe to take during pregnancy. You can also take tylenol plain or tylenol 3...but I agree only take it if necessary. Is there pus draining from the abscess? If there is pus drainage that is good, cause the pus buildup is what causes the pain; so if its not hurting then it probably started to drain. I know its disgusting but that means it is easier for your body to clear the infection. You said you are running a fever, how high? Fever is a sign of systemic infection...you need to call you OB and consult with them especially if it gets high.

thank you for the reassurance to about the heartbeat. I have faith and I have been praying to God everyday for our little ones!
God Bless!
