Hi Debra
I'm gutted that you're feeling so low. I also have hade an ectopic and the fear of another stays with you, but like you say...... The likely hood of that is very remote. I'd really like tp be able to offer you some expert advice on your concerns, but as I am on my first cycle I know very little. Therefore, allI can do is send you best wishes, lots of PMA, and keep my fingers crossed for you.

Hope everything will be ok.

Nicky. Thanks, you're very sweet to think of me when you must be so excited about tomorrow.

My ectopic was doubly impossible as I was sterlised 15yrs ago so had no tubes to host an embryo - in theory. Hence not being able to discount the 'impossible' happening again. Even though the hosp sent notes to my clinic confirming they'd completely closed up the tubes whilst repairing the rupture damage.

I'm going to sign off the board early and start again tomorrow. Best of luck with your test.

hugs
Debra.

Hi, I'm back. DF is at work and I'm better off keeping active.

Mrs M I only had 3 follies so can't see that OHSS should be much of a risk. Plus I thought it was much quicker to appear than over a week later?

thanks though,
Debra.

Hi Debra

Your right, sorry didn't think like that, I don't really know much about IVF as this was my 1st time. I had AF on tues, and Dr still advices me to test tomorrow, seems silly doesn't it but I suppose its for saftety reasons.

I had 13 eggs is that good... Im finding this site so usefull and chatting to such lovely ladies

DH and I are already thinking of having a 2nd go asap as we have 3 frosties, not giving up, not by a chance. I went through my drug stage very easily had no mood swings or flushes or nothing, I thought was quite strange, maybe im not human after all...LOL.....DH thinks im mad at times,,, bless him eh....
I really do hope you feel better very very soon, ensure you gets lots of rest.

Baby dust to all and lots of PMA

Love Mrs M :P

Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit stressed Debra, I can understand your worry after all you went through last time. The pain could be a positive sign though, related to OHSS....increasing hormone levels causing your ovaries to enlarge. Keep drinking loads and eat more protein.

Hope you feel better today.

Cheers

Hi All

Hope all is well,

Im afraid to say that I have now completed my 2ww, tested this am BFN, even though I knew it would be as AF arrived tues

I feel very saddened as this was my 1st attempt. DH and I didn't really prepare ourselves for this BFN, oh well, must try harder next time.

this site has been a great help, Im off to buy the Zita West book today, if anyone has any other information you may think will be of use please let me know.

good luck to everyone who is still in there 2ww, not sure if you feel like I do but the 2WW Sucks. :x

Love to all and most of all loads of baby dust to all.

Mrs M...so sorry you got a BFN. I admire the fact you're already talking to DH about next time and learning from this experience. Frist time lucky is not the norm, it happens and it's lovely when it does but that's not most people's experience.

Read the book, take some time to enjoy being 'normal' again and bounce straight back to the board.

Don't forget to give yourself time to grieve either. It might not hit until the next of your friends confides she's pg 'although we weren't really trying'. You know on here we understand.

hugs
Debra.

Well I'm back from the clinic. They gave me a bacterial blood test (negative) and 2 scans - in and out - and found nothing. This is a good thing of course. His only suggestion was that perhaps my c-section scar and/or lap scars are painful for some reason. I can live with that.

I pleaded to test early but he very indulgently smiled and refused!

Feeling a bit happier but that's not hard. When DF came from work at midnight I sobbed and sobbed. I felt so incredibly low, not just about me but the bad news on here too. This morning I howled again over breakfast....he's a very lucky man!

How are other people doing?
hugs
