Hey guys.

Just starting to catch up on all of your news - Lumi, congrats on the girl news!

First two weeks of life for my little ones and they've already put on a pound each!

Let me tell you, gals, I'm exhausted, but I've never felt so blessed in all my life.

The weight I gained from the pregnancy is gone, and with some belly still to go, I imagine I'll be even smaller than I started - most effective diet I've ever been on, LOL!

Hope you all are doing well. If its okay, I'd like to hang around and hear how the rest of your pregnancies progress.

Denise

It is so wonderful to hear from you.

A pound each, wow. Are you breastfeeding? If so, how's it going?
How long was your stay in hospital (I could work it out, but as you know, my brain has gone to mush)!!

It would be great for you to keep in touch and once again, congratulations to you both .

Kristi

Nearly missed your last post!!!
I agree, I also am going to preference the "Natural" way but we shall see what happens. What will be, will be. You don't have alot of choice at the time do you.

I am starting to get uncomfortable at night now. If I don't go and empty my bladder, I get quite a stomach ache. Also my pelvis is starting to ache. Is yours? I feel like I have been riding an elephant!
Everyone say's I have the pregnancy waddle now. God know's what I will be like in a month's time.
I am cutting my working days down next weeks to 2 a day. I am looking forward to that. I don't think I could stay at home every day, so a couple of days at work will be nice.

Hi Lumi

I have the most understanding bosses in the world and they have said that as long as I feel ok, I can work for as long as I wish.
I have been taking it week by week, and as I am a Payroll/Administrator/Recruitment consultant I am able to take it eay at work. I even have a cardboard box with a pillow on, under my desk so I can sit with my feet up.
My advise, If you are able, is just see how you feel week by week. I thought I would want to give up work at 30 weeks, but I don't now it's here. I am looking forward to my 2 days a week tho.

Take care

Lots of posts....see if I can remember everything...

Denise, congrats again! Yes, please keep chatting with us, we need the guidance from a Pro on all of our questions! And I love to hear about how wonderful having your babies is.

Jessica, congrats on your twin news! Isn't is unbelievable?

Lumi, that program sounds great to watch! Someone at work started taping baby programs for me.

Kareen, did you make any progress convincing your partner to find out the sex for us yet? :)

Chelle, no I don't have pain in my pelvis like you do, but I've had a pain in my right side for about 4 months now and it's progressively getting worse. I saw a different doctor yesterday. Also tried a chiropractor. Anyway, long story, short, they all agree that it's a muscle and nothing I can do about it. I can't sit for more than 15 minutes and I'm in pain and have to get up and stretch/walk. It's making work very hard sitting behind a desk. I'm working from home 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week. I'm in Human Resources (sounds similar to you). My work will be flexible and let me work from home if needed or cut my days too.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Happy b-day Kareen! I know what you mean about not having clothes that fit. I had to go to a fancy business dinner with my hubby the other night and a state congressman. I had one outfit that I made work, but certainly didn't feel dressed up enough.

Tell you DP that the sex is a surprise...you're just going to find out the surprise earlier, rather than later. :) It still doesn't take the surprise away. You know I'm joking when I talk about that...many people want to wait to find out, so that's not odd for him to feel that way. Sounds like a fun debate in your house!

Post by racquel »

hi everyone - i have a lot of catching up to do! I'm still on strict bedrest and typing from supine position is kinda hard but I am so happy DH figured out how to set this up in the bedroom for me. I feel connected again!!

We've had a scary week - 3 more new bleeding episodes and with each one I'm sure it's all over ... but luckily scan yesterday showed babies doing well. The hemorage (sp?) has grown but at least it hasnt overtaken the babes yet. Dr says it's worrisome - could go either way but we're doing all we can to keep my uterus calm and hoping that as the babies grow they'll push the blood out. I'm flat on my back in bed with legs elevated for most part, tho dr said I can turn on my side at night if that helps with back pain. He said this could last up to 4-5 weeks .... can't think about that, just take it a day at a time and be thankful with each passing day without miscarraige.

cant tell you how glad I am to catch up with you all - ill send more personal msgs as i catch up with everyones news. take care, racquel

Racquel, I'm so sorry you are having to go through all of this. You sound like you're holding it together pretty well. Taking it one day at a time sounds like the right attitude. I'm glad you wrote because I was wondering how it was going for you. I'm sure making it to 12 weeks or so is going to feel like you've accomplished something great! Sounds like you are following doctors orders well. Keep doing that! I'll keep you in my thoughts & prayers!

Kareen, yep, I'd say you are having twins!!! You are showing a good amout for only 14 weeks! I remember at 15 weeks was the first time a stranger congratulated me on being pregnant (I was showing enough that someone could tell I was pg and not just a chunky stomach).

See that space where you can put your hand between your belly and boobs? You won't have that space for long! Your belly/uterus will be all the way up to your boobs. It feels funny to me to have them touching!

Racquel, hang in there. Baking twins is a tough job.

I hope you guys are doing well, I know Chelle is third tri and Kristi is almost there... that's when you feel the really big kicks and they're not so precious anymore...lol.

My girls are doing well - they've gained a lb. already since birth, so our combo of breast and formula seems to be working.

I'm going to pop over to photobucket and check out your growing tums... I put my eight month tum up there... just weeks before the end!
