Well I went to the mall, I shopped for 2 hours, it felt good! I needed to get out of the house. I am feeling better today. My period is aweful, has anyone else had a really bad period after IVF?
Hi Neffi! I just came back from shopping as well! My AF was about the same BUT I had awful cramps. One night the pain woke me up...really bad. I also passed one big clog, different from other ones I've had in the past, maybe from the thick lining?

andnichole--congrats! awesome numbers :)

Schel--your little one is SO beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I'm glad to hear the separation is healing well...phew!

Yes, where's Puma?

Michelle--yes, school is kicking my a$$, busy, busy, busy! but I'm trying to be good to myself so I'm learning to say "no" to other commitments (usually I'm really involved on campus), and I'm only taking 2 classes this semester. I spoke with my advisor and told her about EVERYTHING, she's very supportive and agreed that I needed some "me" time. I'm trying to lower my stress levels so I can become a mama this year.

Luv to everyone

Thank you all for being here for me. I love being able to share the pix and this journey with you all. I don't know how I would do this without you all.

Washingtonda,
I edited my post and reposted the code, but it is still same code so I don't know if it will be any different for you. Sorry :(

CT. Michelle,
You can extend the wear of ur regular pants/jeans by looping a hair band or rubber band through the button hole than over the button. I also got 2 of those bella bands and they work pretty good. 8) Have fun shopping!

andnichole,
Wonderful beta numbers, I look forward to your ultrasound!

Tammy - Congratulations! So exciting! If you had hyperstimulation, you can expect 2-3 more weeks of bloating, but maybe only 1 more week of uncomfortable bloating based on what happened to me. When they do your u/s they will show you all the fluid that is hanging out in your ovaries and abdomen (google 'third space').

Michelle - I just bought bigger clothes. Because I haven't been able to exercise and suffere from seasonal affective disorder (and live in one of the two places in the country where you can go if you are allergic to the sun), I have been eating more than I should and gained weight all in my hips! The nutritionist was not happy. Don't understand why she was so upset - she still weighs <100lb and probably never had a day where pants didn't fit! Very impressive u/s.

Shel -So cool to see your u/s. You are a few weeks ahead of me and it is nice to see what is coming. I had a separation as well and at my 10 wk ob appt yesterday they did not do a scan, so I am just imagining the separation to be just as big. I was told that it is not a physical pulling away of the sac, but actually a blood clot that needs to be re-absorbed. I was also told that there was nothing I did/failed to do that caused it.

Neffi and Esperenza - hang in there ladies. Your time will be here soon and it will be that much sweeter.
Melissa

Where's everybody?

Melissa, it's good to hear that you're doing well. :)

As for me, I'm at a coffee shop working on my papers  and trying to be a good student

Waiting for my next cycle to come, meanwhile having a good time with dh, if ya know what I mean? it's kind of fun to make love without thinking about "baby making"...it's like going back to dating! :P

Mrs. G--where are you? did AF show up her ugly face? let us know hon.

hugs to all!

As for me...Af was strong but short...2 days a gone, thank god! Dh and I were able to be "together" last night :D Finally!....I know what you mean esperanza-- sex w/o thinking of getting pregnant is soooooo much better! So anyway....3 days on BC so far, I should here from RE tomorrow with a new schedule for March. Tonight I'm having a birthday dinner w/ my family. I think I'm getting lots of presents this year...more than usual, I think they feel bad cause of my BFN! So I should have a good night. Wish I didnt have to work on my birthday tomorrow  oh well---have a good week everyone

Neffi- doing fine here, thanks for asking. I stopped taking progesterone 2 nights again and I am soooo nervous. I am sure if docs told me it is ok, then it is ok, but I still can't help but worry. Have a great birthday tomorrow!

Esperanza- so good of you to be doing schoolwork like that. I am so not into this semester. I only took 2 classes and I am doing the minimum amount of work, I shouldn't have taken classes, I was just worried about loans going into repayment.

I have been having trouble sleeping lately. I am a stomach sleeper, and that has been pretty uncomfortable. Also, my search for clothes did not go well. I will give it another try next week.

Hope everyone is doing well, keep us posted on progress.

Hello Ladies! Sorry for the delay I tried to post the other day and the site was being crazy. I have been sick the past few days. Fever, runny/stuff nose, sore throat, tiredness amongst other things...

AF never showed!! I had a beta on friday and it came back a BFN as i suspected. The Dr is suppose to call me hopefully monday and let me know what to do. Im frustrated that its delaying my transfer, so we will see what he says. It would be wonderful if they would go ahead and do an ultrasound the 13th as scheduled just to check my lining and see if its possible to continue with the transfer. Id be fine with that! :D

Im going to go restup and hope this sickness goes away soon!

Thank you for thinking of me! Hope all is well, when i feel better i will read more to catch up, my eyes are watering too bad right now.

Mrs G--thank you for checking in. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I'm sending you lots of healing thoughts your way.

Neffi--I suspect CD means "cycle day"

Michelle--I hear you about the classes; I'm trying to take it easy this semester as well taking only 2 courses (first time in my life!). I wish I could take a leave of absence for 1 semester, but in the other hand, I'm glad I'm not because at least it gives me some structure and focus. I hope you get to find the cloth you want next week.

Happy week everyone!

Hello all -- Just wanted to pop in and say hello. I had a busy weekend this past weekend with DH coming home on Friday so I haven't had much time to post.

I'm at work right now so I can't stay on here long but wanted to wish everyone a good week.

I am scheduled for my first U/S tomorrow and can't wait for those results. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. We are praying for two. But I'll settle with one

We'll let me run but I'll log on later tonight when I'm home and try to catch up with the weekend news.

Good luck to everyone this week!!!

Andnichole: My beta was 524! I am 17 dpo...what do you think...twins???
Sounds like your beta is excellent! Have they given you any idea how many?

Washingtonda: Ultrasound tomorrow already! Yayy...so exciting! I am guessing 2. Did they give you any idea yet?

Esperanza: Glad to hear you have a light school schedule and keeping busy.

Mrs G: Feeling any better yet? Did AF start yet?

Michele: Are you still with IVF doc or have you moved on to a OB/GYN? My clinic just informed me that I need to find one soon cause they dont see me past the first ultrasound which will be Feb 29th. I was shocked! I will still be on progesterone shots 3-4 weeks after I leave there too. They dont check prog levels for us...just standard protocol to do them so many weeks. Ugh. I am not sure if I should pick a high risk doc or not. They told me it was up to me!?? What are you ladies doing?

Neffi: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! What did you get for your bday???

MLB: I have some bloating...but its not too bad. I am finally over the flu.

Schel: I love seeing your little one. So cool.

Hi ladies!
congratualtions to andnichole and tammy!
to everyone who didn't "win the lottery" with a bfp this time around, or who, like me didn't even get to start, our time will come! sending lots of baby dust out to esperanza and neffi, mrs. g, colesmom & all the other lovely ladies still reading and continuing on their journey!
Happy Birthday, neffi!!
so happy to know this thread is surviving! so wonderful to see the pictures of the new little ones! they are just amazing! thanks to the moms-to-be for keeping us updated with each step!
Like mrs g. - still no AF for me this month -- supposed to start on wednesday evening with stimms -- had my baseline scan and bloodwork today -- won't know what is actually going to happen till wednesday -- keep your fingers crossed for me!
