As for me, ER went really smoothly-- 19 eggies!!!!!!!!!!!! Will get the fert rates tomorrow, we're using ICSI so hope the numbers will be good. Feel much better now-- I've been super bloated the last few days. No pain or anything.

Hello Ladies... just checking in. Well, I get to trigger tonight at 10pm. My ER is scheduled for Wednesday. I am so excited.

nursegator... good job. 19 eggs. I hope that they all fertilize for you. Keep us updated. So are you in pain right now from ER? That is the only thing I am scared of, cuz I plan on going back to work the day after ER. Good Luck hun.

Well ladies, I have to go to Walgreens and get me some Docolax for tonight. Tomorrow I will be on a liquid diet... yuk. I am so looking forward to my Trigger. No more stims but I still have to do my Heparin shot tonight. But at leats tomorrow I will be Injection free..yipee!!

LadyJ: Woohoo!!!! You get to trigger, it's finally here!!! Good luck!! That sucks about the liquid diet though, our only stipulation was nothing after midnight the night before but clear liquids. Good thing our ER was @ 8 in the am...we went out for burgers afterwards!

Well, as I mentioned to Barb, I bought my first maternity pants today. It was kind of exciting! I'm just really tired of wearing my jeans unbuttoned and if I have to wear my dang yoga pants anymore I'm gonna scream! Feeling much better after taking maalox early in the am the past two days. It's helping a ton! My first appt with midwife is Wednesday!

BarbD- Wow your numbers sound really great, and I bet you are happy. I felt bloated last week but not so much this week. Another thing that makes me worry. I cannot wait to hear your next ultrasound results.

mandeekins- It sounds like you are getting all the pregnancy symptoms. I will love when it is time for me to buy maternity clothes.

Kate- Let us know how everything went with your ultrasound. I hope everything is good for you.

LadyJ- I am so excited you finally got to trigger last night. Only one more day until retrieval.

niki- Good luck on your two week wait. Just remember to keep yourself super busy, so it will go by fast.

I just left another message at my Doctor's office, so I hope a get a call back soon with my beta numbers. I really went through a panic state yesterday when I did not hear from them. I kept thinking they are waiting to call because something was wrong with my blood work and they had to retest it or run it by my doctor. I hate that they did this, and this is the first time they have not called. I want to see if they let me come in for a early ultrasound. I still have hardly any symptoms and I just feel like something is wrong. My husband thinks I am crazy to panic like this, but I don't think he fully understands the worrying that goes along with all of this.

She just called with my beta numbers and it is 17,432. She told me she left a message yesterday, but I know she didn't. My utlrasound is on March 3rd one week from today.


One thing that is weird is the online tracker puts me at 6 weeks this Friday but, she said I am 6 weeks on March 3rd. I am confused my retrieval was on the 30th and I transfer was on the 2/2.

I just got back from my U/S and back at work and boss is on my case to get something done for him...so quickly...

RE saw only one sac, but did not see a fetus in it.

My right ovary is the size of my fist and left ovary is only a little smaller. Both ovaries have cysts which he said may rupture.

He wants me back for my regularly scheduled U/S to see if we see a fetus at that point or not. I'm a little concerned that they did not see a fetus!!

I'll let you all know.

About my mom, half of her heart is 30% blocked and the other half where she has a stint already is 34% blocked. They said that her heart is operating at about 70% and they said that was good enough. The thing they are worried about is her blood pressure, it has been 180/95 for the last two days! They said she HAS to get it down.

I have to go get some work done.

Hi Ladies. Its been forever since I wrote here so sorry... I have been sooo busy I didnt realize that 3 weeks have gone by . So I got my AF 4 days ago so that means BFN for me but I'm moving on to IVF #2 I already started BCP and nurse said I should begin stims around March 16th-18th. I'm doing a different protocol this second time I'm doing BCP for 21 days with Lupron starting at D16. She said I need to take 20 units of Lupron every day which seems alot to me. I thought ladies usually take 10 units... any insight on that would be appreciated

Last IVF i didn't do any bcp or lupron I went straight to follistim so I'm nervous about this...

JennLB25 - Try not to worry too much, my RE doesn't want to do an u/s until my 7th week to be sure that won't happen. They said until then you can be sure you will see everything you are supposed to.

Jenn - I agree with Niki. Don't stress it is still early. This is why a lot of RE's don't do u/s till around week 7.

Dys - Good to hear from you. As far as the lupron goes, 20u is the most common dosage before stims and then it drops down to 10u while on stims. My first IVF I did 20 U and they said it oversuppressed me. Then I did 10u and it was stimulating my ovaries. I don't like lupron but will be using it with my flare protocol this time.

Molly - For IVF they count the day of retrieval as your ovulation day. So at that point you would be 2 weeks PG. Some calculators will not work correctly because they want the first day of your last period and using that date is not accurate when doing IVF because you can either ovulate earlier then normal or later.

nursegatro - Congrats on your transfer. Now your are officially PUPO!!!

Kate - Keep us posted on your u/s. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything is OK.

Lady J - WOOOHHOOOO you got to trigger. So ER tomorrow? Good Luck, hope you get lots of eggies.

AFM - Just got all my meds ordered. YEAH!!! They will be here tomorrow. DH and I both have to get our STD's testing done again, which sucks. I met DH after he got off of work yesterday so he could go get his done but of course the clinic that we were going to closed 10 min early. I hate when that happens. Hopefully he can get it done today or else they won't let me start tomorrow. UUUGHHHH!!!! I will just get mine done when I go in for my baseline tomorrow.
I am kind of scared of all the drugs I will be using. I haven't heard the official dosages because I haven't gotten my schedule but they order me another 3 - 900U of Follistim and 30 vials of Menopure. For my last cycle I only used 10 vials menopure and 1200U of follistim. I know they needed to up my drugs but gosh they are upping them alot. Oh well will see how it goes.

Thanks all of you for good thoughts. They worked! Had a great ultrasound yesterday, there are 2 little babies in there and one of them already has a little heartbeat. It was really cool! I guess it was just implantation bleeding after all (which turns out to be a lot heavier than I'd imagined). We've been at this 6 years and this is the furthest we've gotten, so our hopes are high.

Jenn, don't worry. It really is early to see anything now, but your betas are still going up which is the most important thing. Also, implantation causes cramping. Is the pain any better?

Chris, I'm so glad you get to start again right away. Now your body's all warmed up and ready to go, so this should be your time!

Molly, great beta! I forget how far along you are, but you've been consistently high, right?

Kate: Oh, I am SO EXCITED for you!!! I must admit I was getting a little worried when we didn't hear from you yesterday! Yeah 2 babies !!! I did have my 3rd beta yesterday (19 dpo) and it was 4599! So, we do have very similar numbers. I hope I have 2 in there too!! Congrats again!

Jenn: I agree that your u/s was early expect to see your baby. Give it another week or so. Try not to worry!!!

Good Afternoon Ladies. Just checking in. I did my trigger last night... not bad at all. Then I had to do 2 Dulcolax last night before bed, which I am paying the price for now. I am still swollen, but I am not feeling pains like the first time after trigger. I hope that they got lets of eggs this time.. only thing i am worried about.

Kate... Twins So happy for you. I am glad things went well. COngrats hun. As for the pain, yeah, the first cycle it was painful for me. It was sore for like a week. I couldnt even lay sideways. I hope it is not as bad this time.

Chris... thanks for the positive vibes. Yes ER tomorrow at 10am. As for you, I am glad that u r to begin so fast. How exciting. Sucks about the clinic being closed too early... I hope your DH gets his done today so there won't be delay in your cycle already. Chris, I really do hope u get to go all the way and get your BFP with this cycle. Good Luck hun.

Congrats on the twins I am very happy for you. how many weeks are you.

I am now 5 weeks, and my beta has been steadily growing. 1st was 236 14 days past ovualtion I think, and the next one was 870 (something) 17 days past ovulation. Now I guess I am 25 days past ovulation. My retrieval was on the 30th of January. My nurse said my number today was very very high, and she is thinking twins, and that is the first time she said that. Of course after that she added we won't know for sure until after the ultrasound.
