Hello Ladies:

I guess it is about time for me to switch to the 2nd trimester site. I am still waiting to find the sex of my baby. I will have an ultrasound at 18 weeks, but that is 4 weeks from now!

I hope everyone is doing well here.

Hey ladies :o

Glad to hear that everyone is doing well! I can't believe I am 24 weeks tomorrow. Actually starting to believe this is happening...

Does anyone else have extreme hormonal days? I can't remember having any real ones last time - but one day in particular a couple of weeks ago was nuts. Woke up very down - cried at everything, including the tv. Went out to Mothercare to look at stuff (something I NEVER dared do the last time) and cried as soon as I walked in. It's funny now, but at the time.....

Take care all

Hey Everyone!

My little guy sure is a wiggle worm! I have 2 kids and I never remember them moving this much. He moves all the time. I hope he is just tiring himself out so he will sleep a lot when he is born LOL..

I can't belive its getting so close.. I just saw a person getting a sign ready that was the 100 shopping days till xmas sign! WOW that means, I have 100 days to labour LOL.

The 3rd trimester is just around the corner and I can't wait!

Lisa and Jessica we are really just a matter of a couple days apart!

Lisa I have been getting your headaches for the past couple days. I did a lot of house cleaning ( I dumped out so much crap that I didn't need) and I think I pulled a neck muscle or something. I am also not sleeping very well for the past couple days, not only have i been going to the bathroom several times during the night, but the headaches wake me up and I can't sleep. So I have been reduced to living on tylenol again.

Also.. has anyone else noticed a slight milky substance from the boobies? I thought this was way too early but sure enough i have some stuff.. Not alot.. and not all the time but its there for sure!

Have a great week everyone!

Talk to you all soon!

Danielle :D

Danielle,

You are right! We are a couple days apart!!! I am also excited for how close it seems now!!! We are rounding the corner and I have only 15 weeks left - and thats IF I go the full 40 weeks!! I remember the stretch of getting to 15 weeks - now it is all that is left!!!

I did a lot of cleaning - is anyone else starting to nest??? I have thrown out soooooo much!!!! to get prepared to put up the wall for Logan's room, then we will start painting - I can't believe it!!!

Does anyone get paranoid about movement??? Just when I think gee I haven't felt him moving around for awhile he starts kicking!! My dr told me that if I get concerned here is what you do....Drink or eat something sweet (Mug Root Beer does it for me) then after about 20 minutes (give or take) the baby should get active - start your kick counts....When I called the dr with the results that I had 17 kicks in 30 minutes she assured me there is NOTHING to worry about!!!

He is less active when I am active - and more active when I am sitting watching tv or working - it seems when I move I rock him to sleep!

I don't have headaches but I am defenitely not sleeping as well!!! I have crazy crazy dreams and most of them aren't even about the baby! they are just wierd dreams about work, friends, different stuff! Not to mention the two to three bathroom trips in the middle of the night! I looked forward to sleeping in over the long weekend - do you know each morning I woke up at 7AM!!!!!! I forced myself to go back to sleep!

I haven't had leakage yet - but somedays my nipples seem dry - anyone else?? Danielle - Somedays can be worse then others for leaking - make sure to keep some nursing pads in your purse - cause at anytime it could leak right through your shirt and actually soak your shirt!

How are all of our other girls?? Welcome to all of our 2nd trimester newbies!!!

When are you guys thinking of moving to the third tri thread?? Are you gonna move at 27 weeks - I will probably wait for Danielle and Lisa since we are sooo close!

Hello Ladies,

I've finally got the courage to come to the second trimester thread. It was so lovely to see all of you ladies doing well throughout your second trimesters.

Kareen~~ I just read your posts and saw your picture, you look sooooo good. you are definitly a yummy mummy. I have missed you ladies so much i havent been on here for a week or so.

Just been so tied up at work. After my fall two weeks ago my doctor suggested i go on bed rest in one month which means two weeks to go. I have been trying to send my patients over to other doctors and therapists. As weird as it feels i feel guilty for leaving my patients alone with a new doctor they havent seen before. I just hope they will be happy. Although all of them are totally understanding of the situation.

Tomorrow i have my 15week check up, i had a doctors appointment last week that i totally forgot about..(who does that?????) after i called the doctor to apologize the receptionist laughed and said pregnancy amnesia is common, dont feel too bad.

Do you ladies think it would be possible to find out the sex of the babies tomorrow i will be 15w4d ??? Too soon????
My husbands side of the family is really looking forward to one girl at least. When they all found out it was triplets they were all happy because their chances of having a gril in the bunch increased! As for me it makes absalutely no difference as i dont have any children. Anything will be super for me.

Ladies, my ankles have been like balloons this week and last. I didnt think i would get this swollen so soon...any other ladies having these issues? Im assuming its the heat waves we have been having here.

Hayley~~ how are you ??? how are your twins doing? Anyone able to find out the sex of there babes?

Tammy~~ long time no see...hope you are doing well.
With Gods Blessings BFP!

this morning when i woke up...my belly felt odd... when i touched my belly.. the little hard swelling suddenly moved... i have been smiling since.. i havnt had kicks as such but i can tell when they are on the move... sometimes when sitting and i go to reach out for a drink or whatever and i get like a tugging sensation... being in the bath is best.... lying relaxing then all of a sudden my belly feels weird then it relaxes . i cant wait for the kicks.... then i know for sure they are ok...

hayley....vita....jo....and all you other lovely ladies... hope you all have a good weekend...
take care,... kareenxxx

Hi everyone. anyone heard from vita yet? im dying to no if she found out the sexes of her triplets? karen glad to here your feeling movement its great isnt it :D
I have a scan on tuesday, dh cant come to this one. he's really dissapointed. we tried to change it but we cant, so my mum is coming with me, i cant wait for her to see the babies. alot has changed with scans since the days when she had me.
i wish my belly was just a little bit bigger, i am showing. my belly has certainly got that shape. and it is deffinatly there. but i cant help but think i should be a little bit bigger. i always imagined i would go alot bigger than this when i finnaly got pregnant. and with having two babies in there im sure i should be a bit bigger. dont get me wrong its good not going really big so quick, as long is i no they are ok. there were measuring the right size at my 13 week scan.i just cant wait till tuesday.
Tonight when dh comes home i will get him to take i pic, i will post it on photobucket and you can tell me what you all think.

Hello Ladies:

I have not posted for a few days, as I had a touch of the stomach flu last week. I can't wait to see the sex of my baby either. I go on October 5th to have an ultrasound. I will be 18 weeks pregnant so I hope that they can tell me the sex. I finally started to pop out. I wore a pair of jean shorts last weekend and they fit fine. I put them on last night and I could not fasten the button without discomfort. :( I will have to go out and buy some maternity clothing today.

Ladies: When did you feel your first movement? I have not felt anything yet.

Take care all,
Tammy

hi

Post by kdc2006 »

hayley my love.... im sure you wont be long in getting that big bump... everyone is different... you were really petite before your pregnancy and im sure after birth you will go right back to normal... you will be one of the lucky women.... your bump will be all babies!!! my hips have filled out and the tops of my legs... in a month or so you will notice a big difference when your bump moves up....

tammy... hope that stomach flu has passed and your feeling much better.... as for movements... everyone is different again... if its a 1st time pregnancy the babies kicks happen around 18 weeks + and if its a second pregnancy normally you can feel baby move slightly earlier around 15 weeks+..(very light movement)...if the person was really slim.(before pregnancy).. they can feel flutterings early too...

hayley..that is a shame your hubby wont make the scan but least your mum will be by your side.... i have a few more weeks to wait before i get my scan @ 22weeks.... cant wait...
