Carolyn,
After a couple of thousand dollars out of pocket, I gave up the accupuncture. Just can't afford it. I've been eating organically and taking my vitamins, doing some yoga, some cardio and listening to soothing music. I've been meditating a bit each day and going to therapy. Wow, I am doing a lot! How's the complimentary therapy going? Keep me informed. Oh, and I am going to register for an art class in a couple of weeks. Need something not baby related!

hiya Chris - you can't say us ladies are not trying everything possible !!

Accu went well today - something interesting she said though was that if tostesterone (sp??) levels were high that it can affect implantation - worth checking out :D

Summer - sticky baby dust - hope your resting up ??

Pauline - hope you had a great break in ireland xx

hi girls,
carolyn - for implantation to occur I think so many factors have to be in alignment. There are probably a few things we can do to improve our chances, but I think some just get lucky, while others do not.
It is really great to hear that your new therapy is giving you a lot of good information about this infertility stuff and I really hope it gives you the boost you need to make it work for you in April. Sounds like you found the right place at the right time! Thanks for sharing all that you are learning!

chriss - enjoy your upcoming art class. What will you be taking? I've been studying calligraphy for the last few years, which I really enjoy

pauline and kelly - hope all is well with you both!

After having over a week off, I am heading back to work on Saturday and actually looking forward to it. I'm still pretty upbeat about things and am trying to keep up my PMA to believe that this just might have worked for us - just wish there was a way to test tomorrow to know....patience, I know. It hasn't even been a full week yet!

Did anyone notice the ad at the end of our thread for the DE Safari in South Africa? Sounds like you are just going on a big easter egg hunt and will hopefully find the one that works for you...just thought it was funny.

enjoy the rest of the week! xx summer

Hi, well we never got to Ireland. Flights were cancelled due to snow in Dublin :( My Dad was disappointed as he had lots of outdoor work around the farm lined up for us to do. Have spent my time going to the gym  and wishing for better, warmer weather. I just hope we get a great summer this year!

Summer, keep up the PMA, lots of baby dust on its way to you......

Carolyn, how are you? have you started meds yet or is it too soon?

Chris, how are you keeping? Good luck with the art class, I'm not artistic at all but would love to be.

Kelly, would love update on twins when you get a free minute.

Well, gotta run and get ready as heading to the gym for tennis lessons.

Take care & have a great weekend.

hi there,
pauline - sorry to hear your trip got cancelled! Do hope you can find the time to get there in the near future -- and I hope the weather cooperates! We have also had a lot of snow of late - we were spoiled last winter and hardly had any.
Tennis lessons sound like a great way to get thinking about warmer weather! I am all for that.
Did you guys make an appointment for your consultation at reprofit?

carolyn - in the past I've managed to wait to do a HPT until the day before my scheduled beta -- and hope to be able to do the same this round, even when it means waiting a few extra days...Of course, I think every day about whether I should test tomorrow or the next day or whenever -- but since I don't have any tests in the house, I forget about it after a while. On the other hand, I have to admit, seeing that negative come up time after time, I am a little gun shy about testing early...

One week down and a while to go...I'm hoping by going back to work next week the week will fly by a little bit faster..I am however almost finished with my mother's scarf, so at least I did a little bit with my extra time to distract me! -- PMA is still up there, at least today.

hi to kelly and to chriss and everyone else who might be reading along! Anyone doing anything special for valentine's day?
Have a great weekend,
xx summer

Hope you have all had a loved up Valentines weekend - am assuming you celebrate it in US too ??

Ours so no romance or loving of any kind - the only relationship I have had all weeknd was with the toilet - had horrendous sickness and diarhoae (sp??) bug - things we do to lose a few pounds - have managed to eat today but still don't feel 100%

Have had out treatment schedule emailed and if all goes to plan think ET will be 4th April - day before our wedding anniversary - OMG it is actually happening and its quite scary !!

Wow - summer one week down and one more to go - you go girl with the PMA ?

Chris - when does out budding artist start her lessons ??

Pauline - hows you - been doing loads more exercise this weekend ?

catch you all tom

feel better, carolyn!!! Too bad the flu put a damper on a romantic weekend for two...

But really fantastic news that your schedule has arrived! When we started with each other it all seemed like it would take forever -- and here it is, right around the corner for you.
Does that schedule work out with DH's plans? Didn't you say he had to travel at some point? Or did I imagine that...

hi carolyn, great that the timing will work out so well for you and DH! Do they give you the schedule for your donor to know when she will have ER? -- Will you be there the whole time from ER to ET?

thanks much for the PMA, I can really, really use it today!

Hi summer - Glad the PMA was helpful - here comes some more!!!

Planning on being there from ER so we can use Dh fresh sperm - I think will get donor schedule once I get Af afte next one - and then its all stations go - DH going to prague on Thursday to leave sample - just in case have flight issues etc at last minute  I have also sent him with a list of questions to ask ... sure they have been asked amillion times before and not sure if interpretation is lost in translation !!

How many days now till testing ???

hi carolyn,

think that is a good idea that DH is leaving a sample in Prag before his trip, just in case - My DH did the same thing and we ended up needing it - so better safe than possibly having to delay...
Do hope he gets all of your questions answered. If you haven't done so already, I would suggest to let them know that he is coming with questions so they have the time for him to talk and haven't simply scheduled some "alone time" for him.

As far as testing goes, I had decided to go ahead and test after 14 days, and go for my beta on Friday, instead of waiting my 19 days till the 25th...So, I called my gynecologist to make an appointment - but, as luck would have it, at the end of this week our carnival time begins and she is closed on Friday and won't open again till carnival is over on Wednesday, of course!! I couldn't believe it..I also can't go any earlier due to my work schedule, so I guess I will be trying my luck with a good old-fashioned HPT and see what happens...

Hope everyone else is well -- Wouldn't mind having some company on this 2ww -- hope to cheer you all on very soon!

Have a good week and I really hope it flies by...

Summer, sending you some more PMA and baby dust.

Carolyn, everything is falling into place for you now, how exciting.

We still haven't booked our flights to Czech, for some reason I don't seem to be in a rush, only because our donor isn't scheduled until October which seems an absolute age away. Have also emailed Gennet and awaiting a reply from them. Ho Hum

In the meantime we are planning our next trip home to Ireland for the beginning of April and then to see my sister in America at the end of May.

Hi to everyone else.
