Toobee~ That's so sweet of you!!! Man, I really hope it's going to be a good one...always afraid to have another chemical. I take my temp several times a day....I guess that's my version of POAS! As long as it's up, I'm happy!

Lynnie~ Hey girl, you should feel great that you got 66% fertilization rate...that's really good!! Don't you worry, they will develop beautifully and soon you will be PUPO! I'll tell you again that I had 2 eggs, 2 embies and they made it to blast!! You won't be any different. This cycle I had 5 eggs, 3 embies and 3 made it to blast. Please send some positive vibes to your little ones
I know it's really nerve wrecking and I wish sometimes I had a crystal ball to see in the future.

Msfixit - How are you feeling?


I have been feeling really good except I seem to cry for no reason. I was watching Annie last night and started crying. Who knows. I guess nerves and anxiety do weird stuff to our bodies.

I am 7dp5dt and wasn't going to POAS but found one little bugger under the counter. I got a BFN! I am not giving up hope but it does put a big damper on the mood. My beta is Tues.

Everyone is in my thoughts.

Amanda - I'm so happy to hear your wonderful news!!! I feel like we're a little in the same boat with lots of eggs but only few strong ones and you made it! You're my inspiration! CONGRATULATIONS!!! You are finally there!

Val - Thank so much for checking up on me. I feel like I've been going through hell and having you guys care means so much to me.
I have good news I read what you said about ovarian torsion and it got me worried. My pain hasn't really subsided but my bloating mostly did. I talked to the RE and he said I should go to the ER and have them do an ultrasound to rule out any twisted ovaries. We just got back home from that unpleasant 4 and a half hour stay. (catheter anyone? ). The good news is that there is no torsion. The ovaries are just humangous and full of cysts (naturally) and everybody thinks that even though certain amount of pain is common, I may just have a unique extra sensitive reaction. I don't know. At this point there seem to be no OHSS and no torsion, so I was sent home to monitor my pain. They gave me morphin at the hospital and that took away the pain spasms and lessened my general pain. I'm still woozy but the pain is def less which is great!

Now for the REALLY GREAT NEWS! 4 out of 5 embies have gotten to a good stage. My 3rd day report is that I have 4 embies, all of which are 8 cells (RE said he was hoping between 6 and 8 ). And two of them are grade 0 and two of them are grade 1. The last one only got to two cells . But these four are great aren't they??! I'm very happy about this. The only thing now is that I'm extremely uneasy about having an ET (which is scheduled for Tuesday) if I continue to be in this state. My ovaries are definitely overstimulated and I still have quite a lot of pain. I don't want to end up in a hospital once the embryos are in. And we all know that getting pregnant makes things worse if they're already bad. So, maybe I should consider FET? Let everything calm down? I don't know much about FET. What are the risks? Not surviving thawing? Is it always better to do fresh?

msfixit - That's so sweet to say I'm your inspiration. I am proof that it only takes one good one to get pregnant. I am so happy to hear your wonderful news that 4 embryos look good. On my day 3 mine only looked ok and than on day 5 they somehow looked great. Don't be discouraged by the grades. A LOT can happen in two days. I will be thinking of you and praying for you. Glad to hear you are feeling better too.

Valerie- Only a few more hours for you to go. YAY. I hope Ike won't be hitting you too hard. You will be the next BFP for team August.

Lynnie- How are you feeling? I'm sorry you are disappointed that the eggs didn't all fertilize. I know how hard it is not getting the report you want. I will be praying it works for you. Let us know how it goes.

Toobee- How are you feeling girl? Have you had your second beta yet. I bet you have more than one bun in the oven Hope all is well with you and the DH.

Thank you ALL for the warm wishes and the congrats earlier. My DH and I are on cloud nine and as he said it is WAY better than the best Christmas ever. The clinic called as soon as they had the first test done and were running the other tests. My first beta was 565, and if done yesterday probably around 350. He said you can't tell if it is multiples based on one number and def not for sure until the ultrasound. But he did say that based on my history he doesn't think it is triplets. Phew. It said it MIGHT be twins, but has a feeling it is just 1. He would like the second on Tues to be around 1,000. When they called back this afternoon they said my estrogen level was also really good and the next time i change my patches to only put on 1 and not 2.

At this point I am just taking it one day at a time. Just trying to get through the next beta, than the next and finally hearing a heartbeat.

You can freeze if there is risk, but otherwise, I say go for it. I am glad you are ok and I hope you feel better soon.

Misfixit~ I'm sorry I got you scared but better safe than sorry and especially with torsion of the ovaries...that is no joke. I'm so glad all is well even though you had to wait in the ER for so long. But it gave you peace of mind. My RE had me come on a Sunday to do an ultrasound to see my ovary. He said it looked good but that it probably had twisted on its own and then untwisted. The worst pain I ever had in my life by a long shot!!
Your Fert. report looks fantastic and that must be such a relief for you!
As for transfer, you will have to see what your RE is saying and go with that!
