Margi -- My RE has said because of my age I'm right on the line of transferring 2 or 3. My personal choice is 2 but we'll see how they do once they are fertilized etc... Today is your day, right? whoo hooo Can't wait to hear all about it.

Kaylie -- don't get down. It's still early. Oh, those evil sticks.

baby_blu -- injections better than inserts? I think that answer will all depend on whom you ask. Some say yes, some say no. I'm just doing PIO because that's what my RE wants me to do.

Osi -- 44 eggs. WOW that is amazing!!!! How are you feeling?

Annie -- I missed your report but I saw Amanda comment to you that you got 6 eggs. That is wonderful. Can't wait to hear your fert report. We should all have those any minute now, right?

Quick update, very tired! They got 44 eggs, they are going to do half ivf and the other half icsi.
Update more later, need to eat, sleep and drink loads of water.

Oh wow!! that's amazing!

I had 22 the first time and 32 the second... my doctors told me to eat loads of salty food and drink loads of salty liquids... I did.. and had NO sign of OHSS at all...

I guess I wasn't crazy or seeing things... I went right from my trigger to a true bfp without losing the line.
At only 5dp5dt - 10dpo.. I am hoping this means it's a strong implantation and a healthy embryo!!

AFM, nurse just called with my fert report. 3 of the 5 fertilized. Now we know for sure we won't have any frosties, but I'm really happy about having 3 going strong so far. Hoping and praying that they grow, grow, grow!! Will get another update on them tomorrow morning.

Nancy - Awesome fert report!!! That is so great that 10 fertilized!!!

Sonya - Yes, if all 3 make it to transfer day we'll do all 3. And no update yet on transfer date. Ideally we want to do a 5dt but my RE is not against doing a 3dt or 4dt if needed. Hopefully our embies will be looking good at tomorrow's check and we'll know more.

Sonya.......I love love love the pis of the test! Makes me smile. I always feel like they must all be defective since I've never seen a positive one. So happy for u!

Nancy.....yeah....I know they go in your hip. My nurse drew circles for me too. I'm a wuss when it comes to needles. I use to faint every time I got b/w or a shot. I even fainted in a vets office when my cat was getting her shots. I massaged the injection site really hard and was still pretty sore. Soooooo glad it was easy for u!

Klinger.......You've got 3 strong little ones waiting for u!

Babyblu.....My RE suggests both.

Ester.......lupron today! Looks like we're close together in our calendar. My donor starts stims on Nov 1st. Fingers crossed that we'll be PUPO together!

When was your RE? My official beta is on the 26th so we can't be far off. LOL @ too scared... that's how I feel about waiting for the beta! I am a knowledge junkie and HAVE TO KNOW what's going on - good or bad. I start testing around 7dpo to make sure the trigger is out. Once I see a negative test I know that anything beyond that is the baby. This time I never lost the line between the trigger and the implantation. This morning's test came in quickly (under 3 minutes) and was easily visible without taking it out of the case, etc. For some reason, I am not freaking out or feeling unsure about this one. That's the only difference between this and the last. Maybe it's because I got such an early result..?

I am sorry but this is going a very short post. I am feeling pretty upset right now after I got the call from the office this AM. As you know we got 6 eggs yesterday. 5 were mature. They fertilized all 5 but 3 "fertilized abnormally", so as of this moment we only have 2 fertilized eggs. I am trying to be positive, but I know that my chances have significantly dropped for this cycle to be successful. I will let you guys know what happens as the days pass, please forgive me if I don't write too many personals in the next few days. I am incredibly disappointed. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Annie; I am sorry you are so upset. It's totally understandable. I guess for me... I think of it as... you are getting the best possible chance with what is left after all that can go wrong. Those two embryos are the healthiest and strongest possible from the coming together and reprsent two possible lives. Most of us only get two eggs implanted.... I am just going to pray really hard that your two embies keep growing and developing and are soon safely inside their mama. It only takes one... and at this moment you have two. Big huge hugs.
