Hey souris.... the BUM all the way (although i have a big bum) i dont feel my progesterone shots at all.... you have to do the shot (do you have someone to do it for you?) it has to be above the line in your bum....and off to the side ok actually i just tried for myself i could do it...take your hand put the tip of your fingers at the top of the line in your bum now move it up one space and towards your hip one space ...ok feel that muscle there ..thats the spot.

Afternoon Ladies,

Im so bloody angry at the moment!! I was driving the car and a BMW was beside me in the right hand lane, when we came to a stop at the red lights, i hapened to notice that the two front passengers were sat there, smoking and laffing - whilst - in the back of the car there was a little boy, must have been all of 3 yrs old - bobbing about in the back seat of the car with NO SEAT BELT!!! They are very lucky that i didnt get out of my car and tell them so - there they were strapped and safe, and he was bobbing about, standing up laffing and joking!!

Some people dont deserve to have kids - sorry but im really angry about that, do these people not know of the dangers !!! Arghhhhhhh!!!!!

Appart from that, and the odd weep im still having - my day hasnt been too bad, i did some retail therapy - but that didnt really work, my bank balance is down by a few quid now, and my heart is still aching .....

And im still bloody angry

Hey Aunty, thanks a lot!!

Well, I have to do it myself as Dh would probably faint! So the shot is not progesterone because I have those in pessaries, but it is : (got to get the box so i can copy the name!)

Ah ok, yesterday I looked at the scientific name, but now I can see it is HCG!! The nurse said it helps implantation. Normally I should have one on EC day, then on ET day and 2 days later, but she said I should only do the one 2 days after ET but i cannot remember why!!??

So i have tried to get to the right spot, I think i have it but i dont know if i will be able to do the shot in that position!! It looks more like my hip than my bum!!
I will train until tonight!

Souris, sorry hun we must have posted the same time and i never saw ur message ....

For ur injection - i havent a clue, i think they go in the fat side of ur bum (lol) not that im saying ur bum is fat - just that's what u said

I read a book where a lady was getting it done in her bum - she did the cheek - well her DH did - i assume thats where u will be doing urs

Im glad i didnt have to do that - our trigger shot was done with the same size needles that i used for the menopur injection, so i didnt feel a thing!

It is actually not the trigger shot, because I also had 2 of those in my tommy, which was fine!

Yes, I know what you mean, I also get angry sometimes. On my Ec and Et day, there was a bunch of heavily pregnant women about to give birth
smoking their fags at about 7 in the morning!!

But the seat belt thing is so silly, they just dont realise how dangerous it is , and the day they will understand it will be because it is too late...

I had my scan today and good news they saw the yolk sack.. I thought they were looking for the baby but my doc explained that they were just looking at this point to verfiy that the yolk sac was in there. She said things seemed to be going along nicely so I am getting a little less anxious.. I have another appointment in 2 weeks to see the baby and the heartbeat. This waiting is in sane..

hey girls, just popping in quickly to say hi.....

Had my EC today - was absolutely petrified of going under - haven't had an op since I was wee girl - only think they put the sides up on the bed as they thought I might do a runner....!!

But as you can see, I'm back and all went well - I had 6 lovely little eggs (which seems a small amount compared to some!!) however they were happy with them and my DH's deposit! Just now wait for the call first thing in the morning to see if we got on in the little dish!! .

Tiger Girl - how did you get on?? Hope yr EC went well too.

Jackie - the news on your scan sounds really good - you must be soooo excited!!

Ems - so sorry to hear about your BFN.....thinking of you and yr DH.

Souris - how are you getting on? I don't have to take any other meds about from the lovely pessaries - but sometimes when you read other threads it does make you wonder if you are missing out on bits!! However think I have had enough of needles for a little while!

sorry this is short and sweet - going back to watch Robbie Williams that I taped the other night (had to miss his concert due to EC) however the end result would be more than worth it!!

Well done girlie 6 beautiful eggs - which are right now at this moment being introduced to ur DH's tadpoles lol, im sure they will get along just fine - they were made for each other. Take plenty of rest - how many days transfer are u having - 2, 3 or longer? I watched that Robbie Williams the other night - it was brill - he is brill - he is lushhhhh lol!

Sorry no time to post today as we had really busy shift today over lunch and just about to go down for another one. I just wanted to let you know I had poped in to see how you were all getting on. I am just so tired now and so busy I am hardly having time to think about our embrios. I think I have got a cold coming on and no that tommorow at work will be a marathon. We will start around 9am and not finish until 1am the following morning at the earliest. I honestly don't know how I will get through it. I will probably not get to speak to you all again until Sunday.

Morning ladies...

its ridiculously early on a Saturday morning to be sitting here reading this board but DH had to get up at 4.45am to head to a 12hr mountain bike race for the weekend!!....so of course he had to wake me up also, because his alarm didn't go off and he overslept until 5.15am

The clinic called back yesterday and my E2 levels are now slightly higher than they'd like at 2500, so I'm back for a scan and more BT on Sunday morning, so they will make a decision I think on when EC will be on Sundays results.

To all the newbies welcome...you'll find lots of support here

How are your stimms going? I still think its funny how we both started the same day with down reg yet I'm way ahead with stimms..but as you said different country different clinics!!
