mrs. g - how are you feeling? hope AF shows up soon for you and isn't as bad as you expect from the cramps you're feeling --Funny, your last AF was 12/31, mine was 1/1... My RE seems to be waiting for the results from my b/w to give me further instruction...that will be tomorrow.

Wow Amy really??! That means we are so close together in cycles! That is great. Still no AF for me, I haven't even been having cramps now. I'm not sure what to expect, this is frustrating. Im so bummed that I am a week away from my original transfer and it's not going to happen. I was so looking forward to it. I wish they would've just continued on regardless instead of this waiting game... Has AF shown for you?

Have you seen the Jan/Feb thread....they have only had one BFN!!!!!! Its crazy! I have never seen such a thing. They still have like 6 to come, but still.....that is awesome!

Andnichole-- Try not to worry, I know thats easier said than done but if its brownish you should be fine!

I got my new calendar in the mail today....here we go again! I'm glad, I'm ready to start now! well the weather here is gross...I only worked for 4 hours today because everyone canceled their appts. well I have nothing going on until March 1st, but I'll still check in to see how everyone is doing. Im also talking on the march/april thread....getting to know those girls, but I love everyone here, so I want to stick around!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! Is anyone doing anything special today? Valentine's day is always fun at an elementary school because the kids get so excited.

Neffi- I have not attempted shopping yet, but I will be on a mission next week during my winter vacation. Glad to hear you are gearing up for your next cycle and we will all be routing for you.

Esperanza- I was hoping for a cancellation from the snow too, but as you said, just a delay. Only an hour delay here, which stinks, because I couldn't even get any extra sleep out of that. I hear snow for next week, but it won't matter as we are on vacation.

Washingtonda- As you know, I too have joined Sept 08 thread, but this is still my first stop too. I know we are trying hard to keep this wonderful thread alive, but I guess it is inevitable that next cyclers and momma's to be will all find their new home threads. I say we keep this going as long as possible.

Congrats to everyone getting close to their next cycle, we will all be praying for you.

As for me- Today is my last appt with the fert. clinic. Even though I have already seen my ob, after today, I will be officially released to them. I feel like it is a big step to graduate from the clinic, it seems more real. I will have another u/s today, and hopefully it will be a good pic I can share with you guys later.

Hi to all others!!

I was not around this forum for a while, my work and school kept me really busy. I was leaving my house at 7 am and coming back at 11-11.30pm, but I am done with 1 big presentation so I can get some rest now.
I am getting ready for my April FET. I had a water ultrasound done yesterday, b/c the RE wanted to check if I had no polyps in the uterus and everything looks OK in that sector.

Question- have you girls had a really long period after IVF? I am on day 11 and still bleeding a bit. ANd it was very heavy for the first 4 days. The RE said periods can be longer after IVF and told me not to worry, but I have never had such a long period. I am tired of pads and I insanely need sex It is Valentine's Day!!

Unexplained and Michelle--is it spring yet? CAN'T WAIT!!! This morning I got stuck in the ice...it took me 45 minutes to finally leave home...awful we had a bit of a delay (until 11AM). They should have canceled, it was SO bad out there. Thank God today is sunny.

Unexplained--I hear you about the sex...DH and I have been having a great time lately I hope AF goes away soon so you can have a great time as well, hehehheheeeeeeee!

well girls...I officially graduated from the clinic today. It was a little emotional (as everything is these days). The baby is growing fast and was dancing all around again today. It was hard for her to get a really good pic, but I will still share anyway.

The head is on the top left of the sac. It was so neat to see the arms and legs moving around. I can't wait until my next one at ob, which will be much better quality. Everytime I go for an appt, it becomes more real. I can't believe there is actually a person growing inside of me!

I'm really sorry Mrs. G I can see why you'd be bummed, but please, please, please don't loose hope. I am so sorry you're going through so much emotional pain and stress. Can you afford an accupuncture session or a massage? that may help AF come and if anything it will help you relax. What do you think?

Mrs G-- I forgot to mention that in Venezuela (where I'm from) women drink cinnamon tea to make AF come. From what I've heard the warmth helps. If you feel comfortable, give it a shot; just get some stick cinnamon and put it to boil until it the water gets dark, put some honey and drink it like any tea. Hugs

I was about to suggest exactly the same what esperanza already did. I bet you cannot get the AF because you are just so anxious. it happened to me once, my AF came 3 weeks late, and it was at the time when I was very stressed out in my life. The moment my situation got solved and the stress gone, I got my period. So you should destress. Accup and massage are great for that! Or yoga. Do it every day, and once you feel relaxed, it will come.
I am having an exact opposite situation, my AF came and does not want to leave me . Day 12 today. First time that it stayed that long.

mrs. g -- I'm still waiting for AF -- went in on valentine's day to see my RE -- Usually my ob/gyn does all my tests and we send them to my clinic - about 4 hours drive from home...but, he wanted to see for himself what was going on...he said AF might not have come because the "depot" shot (time released down reg. shot) I took on 1/21 was probably given when my lining was too thin...anyway...he said my lining was now too thick and he's got me on progesterone for 10 days to encourage AF -- I go back on 3 March to see how things look and am to call when AF shows...he's hopeful I'll be able to cycle March/April...
I've been waiting since my bfn in July to do a fresh cycle again...and was SO close...now I'm just back to waiting...
my yoga class begins again on Tuesday and am looking forward to that. will give esperanza's cinnamon tea a try, too! I also have some arnika oil that is supposed to encourage warmth and blood flow and have been rubbing that into my body....but really wish AF would show, as I'm so bloated I'm having a hard time buttoning my pants!

unexplained --- sorry you are having the opposite problem. do hope by now AF has packed her bags and left and you can enjoy some catch-up sex with DH...
