Karen - Glad you are better and not freaking out so much. I know how much we all want to be PG and that everything goes well. Being on this board and another has really opened my eyes, I have realized that we can't take anyting for granted with a pregnancy. I will be probably fearful of having a m/c until after 20 something weekso or s. This whole process could even drive Sister Theresa insane.

LadyJ
- Sounds like your embies are good. My last transfer I had a 8 cell and 4 cell and a 3 cell and that was on day 3. I would have loved to have your embies. Wishing you the best of luck at transfer.

I went in for my DAY 3 b/w and ultrasound. I am more than positive they saw something in the ultrasound and will have to take of it before I start the cycle. B/w was an easy 1-2-3. I got tested for FSH, LH, Prolactin, Cystic Fibrosis, AMH, etc... Called my previous RE turns out what they sent my new RE is all my records.... 1 page!!!!! Can you believe that? Where are all my labs, embryology report and everything else? They were easy to collect their payment before the cycle but couldnt keep my record together? Something is fishy there. I don't recommend that clinic anymore. I guess it will be another experiment cycle here. Good thing insurance covers it 100%.

Rosario - I can't believe the only paperwork your old Re sent was 1 page. That is pathetic. For all that money. I am kind of worried about that with switching RE's if this cycle gets canceled. I would want the new RE to have all the info because I can't go through any more canceled cycles. So you don't know what they saw on the u/s? I guess they will be giving you a call and letting you know. Can't wait till you get started again.

Gina, your beta is fine, they like to see the first one over 100 and my dear yours is double that. How many days past transfer and what day did you transfer. Mine was 10dp5dt for 1st Beta..

Just keep up whatever youare doing, seems your lil beans are snuggling in tight.

So here i am updating again. I got in touch with my old RE and yes 1 page is all they have. I am starting to wondering if my last cycle was all bullcrap. All that money and now my new RE can't follow what was going on with my last IVF. Anywho... they called me back regarding my results of both blood work and ultrasound and they saw cysts on my ovaries which i will need another ultrasound DAY 1 of AF next month. They did leave the pics for my RE to review them. Cysts are a part of me. I always have them whether I have my AF or not. When they did my last IVF i had cysts the day of retrieval and it didn't affect me in any way. I hope they don't push back my cycle because of this. I was thinking the worst like fibroids but thank god that wasn't the case. B/W came back normal and as follows:

E2=38
PRL=24
FSH=5.1
TSH 2.0

I wonder if they did the Cystic Fibrosis and AMH. She didn't mention anything in the message. I also needed to be tested for Varicella and Hep B Core AB. I am just thinking they forget all about that. They will probably call me back for some b/w when they realize it.

Well guys hope everyone has a safe weekend. Take care =]

Hey guys been a little while, but I started stims and will trigger tomorrow.

I am a little worried my doctor pushed me one more day as I have the following follies:

20.8, 20.2, 17, 17, 15.8, 13, 11.2

I think he must want the 13 to grow, but I worry I will lose the 20s sigh.

Anyway, if I get 6 mature, it will be my highest number yet! So here's to hoping! This is complicating T DAY a bit. I am already in MD at my clinic though I live in CA now. I go to Boston for T DAY, but now will be flying back and forth between retrieval and transfer! Crazy, but my husband is already going to be at my brother's house when I get there after retrieval!

wow lynnie!!! i didn't realize you were stimming at all!! i'm so happy to hear your numbers, they're awesome. and you may not lose the bigger ones...they may just be on the edge. different re's differ on when mature size happens..

all the best to you lynnie. thanks for dropping in- let us accompany you through the next stages.

and gina- check out betabase.info or the american pregnancy assoc. you'll see you're in normal range and can read up more about what beta's mean and that doubling times are more important than raw numbers.

much hope,
to have fun08,
mrs cutter,
and karenvancouverisland-
thanks so much ladies for all the positive feedback. it's great to hear that small follie numbers so early on doesn't necessarily spell doom. i'm encouraged by your words - thank you! i am paying for this cycle completely out of pocket (perscriptions too) so this is it for us as far as the biological babyquest goes but i'm comforted to know that if it doesn't work out than god has another plan for us and that's something that's pretty hard to argue with.

jdc - i agree. if your dh has an instinct to go forward with the ER to get your 3 follies, go with it. you both don't want to have regrets and instincts can be a powerful thing. you've come this far, right?

for all those on this thread i haven't mentioned, i'm reading all your stories and sending you hope and prayers and strength!

hi rosario.. that pisses me off too about your RE.. they can be so infuriating!! i had a rant about my clinic last night to my husband and i think he ended up regrettting being in the room. WHY do we spend so much $...to get shitty service! it's not fair that we have to get demanding and mad to get what we should have got in the first place.

it was so refreshing for me to see my obgyn and for him to suggest i get weekly beta's and 3 early u/s instead of me having to ask! i love this man.. after he presented to me how he wanted to handle my first trimester- he asked if it was enough! how refreshing.

i hope this gets sorted out for you :D

Chris,
Thanks for asking about me. Yes I have POAS 2x. One just 5 days post transfer just to make sure HCG was out of my body and then one couple days after that. Tomorrow will be 9 days post transfer so I am going to do one in the morning. I pray for a BFP. I hope the lupron will do the trick for you. I am wishing you luck. take care.

Karen--

I see an awesome beta, congrats to you! I am thinking two. I am so excited for you!!! I have lost what Priya is doing, have you seen her around?

I think my ER will be on Tuesday! I really hope to not lose those two and I am still mad about the decision. I wanted to trigger tonight. He did cut my gonal f down from 300 to 150 tonight (along with the usual 3 vials of menopur and ganerelix to suppress ovulation) ... I also do 150 tomorrow am ( I am terrible and thinking about skipping the morning dose!!! I am terrified about losing those two good ones. Oh man!!!!!

I was thinking 5 this time, and now thinking 3. Obviously you can tell how angry I am. I am lame.
