Hey my Octobuddies.....sorry for abandoning you all...I don't have long on this thing...
I decided to do something completely different...so got on a plane with DH and headed back to CH (Switzerland) for cooler climates and greener pastures. We have a little house on Lake Neuchâtel and it has water and electricity BUT no phone, no tv & no computer.... so I am pretty much stranded
It's culture shock, but I welcome it

I collect my mails and check up on you guys when I go and visit someone who's "connected"..and then I can't really say...well I just need an hour to read and post

It's done me a world of good being away from the heat of Dubai....and I have been busy helping evacuate personal belongings in a house we have just recently acquired....very hard work and no time to think about my imminent FET
To answer your questions..... I am waiting for my AF which is ready to rear its ugly head as I speak.... then I have meds to take 3 times a day for 10 days and then a scan. The Dr said I could be out of the country until the scan....I fly back on 8th I hope...
So can't give you details until AF turns up

Walshy......very happy to hear your news...you go girl....sorry about abandoning the MSN thing... will be back online 24/7 as of 9 August
Fingers crossed that everything will go smoothly for both of us...

Jen... you sound upbeat although nervous about the big 16...I don't blame you....good luck with the house  Virtual hugs to you, sweetie

Camilla..... soon we will be welcoming the first Octochick (?)

Lola lazing not far from here in France...hope you're soaking up the sun and relaxing

Steph...same goes to you

Must dash.... visitor wondering whether I have come to talk to her or you

Love ya,

Little R

Hey my Bananas.... chiquita style o'course!

I missed my Tubers whilst away!! So much has happened and been planned.. congrats to all for full steam ahead.. my pom-poms are at the ready! Spanky pants are getting a bit snug though

Vacation was good.. a little glich. I traveled in a car for 6 hours with my germ bag nephews who had viral infections.. congestion, sore throat, the works.. of course with preggers immune system I got it too. Spent two days sleeping.. Luckily I felt better when we left for Snowshoe. The moutain temps were in the 60's/70's.. F that is. We wore jeans and sweatshirts!! Perfection weather. What a crap deal to come back here to the 100's.. BLAH. It was so nice to go away and relax, shop, read, soap watch.. with all the steamy scenes of course. Otherwise whats the point? You definitely don't watch for the gripping storylines. Littles- do they cut out the steamy stuff on Grey's as well? Shame! Shame! I have not heard a start date for Grey's yet.. but the new show seasons usually start in September.. I can't wait!! Wait until you see the season 2 cliffhanger...

But now I am back at work.. had 323 e-mails to catch up on and 2 "emergencies" to handle that no one else handled while I was away. Ah, home sweet home....

The good news.. I had a doc appt yesterday.. baby heartrate was great.. movin along.. baby kept running from the doc and kicking at the doppler.. energetic and tempermental! I do not feel movement yet.. in the next couple of weeks I guess. My scan is scheduled for August 21st.. I get to find out the flavor then! So excited!

As for ma' gang..

Walshy- Bravo tuff nut! You tell the doc how it's going to happen! ICSI, blasts and 2 back.. that is the stuff BFP's are made of! That is how I got my first one.. Cheers to ya. My mom saw a tv show the other day where a lady had 4 put back and had quads, then had another 4 out back and had 4 more quads. I have never heard of putting more than 2 back.. that's insanity!

Loolers- I likey you are back round. Surgery then cycle in Tuberland! Fate darlin. Baby will be a true Octapoo. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!

Jens- Rollin on... surgery then cycle for you as well.. bfp's are going to start rollin in!

Camilla- gettin ready to pop.. fingers crossed for baby to slip right out

Littles- am so glad you took a trek to Switzerland.. heat avoidance and friends.. sounds tops. You deserve it luv bug.

THE list:
Jen- Tubal Op- Aug 16, then cycle
Walsher- cycle a go-go! on to blast..
Loolers- surgery, Octo-cycle
Littles- pending FET, witchy woman arrival
Steph- Scan Aug 21, due date- Jan 9.
Camilla- shall pop any second now.

Toodles Noodles,
Steph!

Hey there my friends.... wicked witch is right on time...so am starting meds now... pain in the neck as so afraid about forgetting them (3 times a day every 8 hours!)

Hope all is well.... Camilla.... you must be popping soon... and then we will finally know

Jen.... thinking about you....as we do the countdown together...

Walshy... hope all is going smoothly with meds... sorry lass, will be back to spur you on as of 9th.... we can chat if you are up to it

Steph..... yikes... very exciting about scan news    I bet you can't take the suspense..... millions of times worse than the Grey's cliffhanger!!!

Lola... resting up I hope

THE list:
Jen- Tubal Op- Aug 16, then cycle
Walsher- cycle a go-go! on to blast..
Loolers- surgery, Octo-cycle
Littles- FET cycle started! Scan: day 10, probably 11 August
Steph- Scan Aug 21, due date- Jan 9.
Camilla- shall pop any second now.

Much love,

Hi Ladies,

Oh how quick you can forget the way your body reacts to stimulants and tablets. I have became a walking heat bag and am having sweats like I am going through menopuase. This was the case when I always take these pills but becuase I havn't taken them for so long I forgot.

Sorry my posts are far and few in between but I have somehow managed to now have something on most nights of the week I have started drawing and painting classes, movie nights with the girlfriends every Tuesdays as well as accupuncture. So my week nights are spent not at home alot.

How is everyone going? There is still no sign of Af for me but I am thinking it shouldn't be long now as I have just finished the last of the 10 dyas or provera and then onto injections.

Camilla - I am so excited that you will be getting to meet your little bundle soon. I wish you an easy birth and hope that everything works out for you.

Jen Only 10 days to go until your operation? How are you feeling about it. Are you still nervous about clamping and not removing. I hope when you do have your operation that it do is what is best for you and your husband. I also hope that afterwards doesn't cause you too much pain. How long after you have your operation can you start your next cycle. God that is all over the place but i hope you can undersatnd what I am saying?

LIttle R I am glad you had a great time and probably still are having a great time in Sweeden. Your first scan is in a couple of days......I really hope that this works for you this time and I have everything crossed for you. Are you taking them to blast this time? How many do you have left again...

Steph you are keeping us in suspense with the sex....you need to log on and let us know. I can not believe that you are already 1/2 way. Have you popped yet? In Oz they don't like to put more than 2 back even if you are 40. I am not quite sure why or maybe it is just my clinic.

Lola Happy Birthday for the other day...I am sending extra vibes for you my friend as you have to wait the longest for the next step in babyland...... I hope you are doing well..

 Hi Girls

Well we arrived ok in England and its really hot. We drove down in our cool mini and collected lots of flies on the way--but i was a good wife and cleaned it--will only do this every now and again though  .

Walshy - Great to see you are logging on more. Oh how i remember those horrid sweats but strangely i only got them with my first cycle and not my second. I so desperately hope this time it works out for you. How you getting on with the acu?

Littles - Whats new? Any sign of the horrid witch AF? You must be so excited now? The 11th is not far away now, you take care of yourself babe.

Loops - Oh we miss you, hope your ok and feeling a bit more positive about your op. Do you have any more news about when it might be?

Camilla - Not long now, i bet you are so pleased and excited-------and worried-------and scared. Hang on in there girl, you'll be fine. an't wait to hear all about your new bundle. Good luck.

Steph - Where are you? How is everything going and how are you feeling. Looking forward to hearing the sex, its so exciting eh.

Me - Well to answer all your questions Walshy, yes i am a bit worried, not about the op really but about what option to choose. The Doc sent me a letter a couple of days ago and has informed me she has spoken to the consultant and before the op she will spent time with me discussing my options. I feel a bit better about this but basically i have to trust them and hope they will do what is the best for me getting pregnant.
After a couple of months recovery then hopefully if all runs smoothly then i cant start the Big 3 around middle to end of Nov. Might have to test around Xmas

House - The biggest news is that we have found a house and it is fate. basically we saw a house a couple of months ago which we liked and made and appointment to view it. One hour before going it was cancelled as the sellers received an offer--we were gutted but moved on. Anyway on Wednesday i was hunting throught the property on the computer (daily occurance now) and noticed the same address. I rang the solicitor and they informed me the sale had fallen through and the house had been put back on the market only 45mins before i called. The first time i could view was on Friday----PANIC----told the solicitor we would be in England. Luckily she recognised my name from being interested the last time and called the owners. They were on holiday up North but would be coming back at 7pm on Thursday so we could view at 8pm
Anyway we view it and loved it. In Scotland most homes for sale are offers over but some are fixed, not usually many. This house was fixed so we would not have to bid against anyone if we liked it, just offer them the fixed price. I went back the next morning with my Mum then knew i had to make a decision as there were two other couples going to see it that evening and it would be snapped up.
So we offered the fixed price and as our house is sold and we are in a good position to move THE HOUSE IS NOW OURS. We are so chuffed. Its in a gorgeous area, near the country but also 10mins from the town. Its a detached villa, 3 bed 1 en-suite, utility room, wc downstairs, bathroom with separate shower, fab kitchen with french doors to the garden and garage. We are so excited but have to wait until tomorrow to see if our buyer want to move in two weeks earlier as the couple who own our new house want out quicker. Hopefully it shouldn't be a problem as she wanted in earlier anyway to start Uni. Its still early days though so i am still a bit worried about it all working out ok but should find out more infor tomorrow.
Everything seems to be working out Car, House sold, New house, Op then hopefully BFP  Can i be so lucky?????
Sorry for waffling on but i'm so excited and just wanted to share this with my lovely friends

Ok i will keep you all posted. Am thinking of you all lots and hope your all ok.

Love and Hugs Jen x

Mornin sunshines on my shoulder!

Well, the heat wave here was suppose to pass, but now the humidity is wretched! Blah.. heat. I hate heat.

First to my gal Jens- CONGRATSSSSSS!! You go get em girlfriend. I like a girl who can grab life by the balls and insist you are in charge  everything falling into place, oh-so-fabu-lo-so Jen style. Car... check! House.. check! Surgery.... check! BFP.... double check (says my high quality crystal ball) You have lifted my pom-poms and spirit fingers so high... have switched to maternity spanky pants....

Walshy- yahooo. heat flashes ahead! so excited you are on your way to big ol' BFP. Your schedule sounds like mine used to be.. run run, run... you never know, worked for me to run around like crazy fool... I predict it shall work for you too! As far as mum the word on baby flavor.. no way! I will tell the world as soon as I know. Other wise I would bust at the seems. My only hesitation on telling people is that when people know you are having a girl, the baby shower looks like pink threw up on it.. my girlfriends all had girls... pink gifts everywhere!

Camilla- any news we can use?

Littles- vacation a go-go?? I see Demetrio has decided to join you? sshh, I went tell Lo-la-la-la.

Loolers- still havin the time of your life? still high from passing the boards? need a lola-fill please!

Good news from PLanet Steph.. docs have given me the go ahead to go back to exercising.... Hoo- RAH. I will start out slow of course, but I cannot wait to get back to yoga!!!! Miss it, luv it, need it! My belly has decided to pop suddenly. although I am still wearing my clothes, the undies are getting increasingly uncomfortable.. time to break down and buy some granny pantys. OOH sexy Lady!.... she's a Lad-eh.. oh, oh, oh.. she's a lad-eh! (for my gal pal lola)

THE list:
Jen- Tubal Op- Aug 16, then cycle
Walsher- cycle a go-go! on to blast..
Loolers- surgery, Octo-cycle
Littles- FET cycle started! Scan: day 10, probably 11 August

Hi Jen , how are you? Congratulations on your house! I replied to your message on the July thread. Been taking my Buserlin for a week now - sweats and a black and blue tummy - bliss. I'll do anything to get that BFP. I got a letter a couple of weeks ago from my clinic saying that they are defo closing for major refurbishment in Sept. An article in the press said that afte the multi million £ upgrade it will be one of the best in Britain!! During Sept to Feb all ER and ET will take place at your clinic. I'm pencilled in for the beg of Sept at Abdn. If this one fails I'll be coming down to Dundee for a FET if this time we get frosties. Don't know how that will work with my frosties being here. They may tell me to wait till they re-open next year. I put my name on the waiting list for the new Mini Cooper s which comes out next yr! Mind you I had to pay £500 dep!!!!!!! Hi Mortisha
Wow a Cooper S----i'm just not cool enough

Great to see you are all fired up and raring to go. Sounds a bit complicated with all the hospital problems but as long as the cycle has not been cancelled i wouldnt worry too much, it will all work out fine.
I will have everything crossed for a massive BFP.

As you can see we are in the middle of moving house. Have my op on my tubes Aug 16th then move on the 1st Sep so hope i recover fast. If all goes well i will have my 3rd cycle sometime in November.

Anyway am in a bit of a rush as we just got back from England, Father-in-Law is not well. Thanks for popping in, will catch up soon.
Keep me posted on your cycle and GOOD LUCK

HI Noodlers!

What a beautiful day in the neighborhood! It actually feels slightly cool here this AM.. nice!

Hows cool n' the gang??

As I said the other day, I am allowed to exercise again. My first day back I started really slow. 15 minutes on treadmill on an incline and 15 minutes on the elliptical machine. I only broke a little sweat... but my gosh how good that felt!!!! I likey! I am heading to my first class back at the yoga studio tonight... 3 months off is a long time.. hmm.. wonder if I will be able to touch my toes? Considering I could get my chin to my shins before my two months off...... yowza. I'll let you know!

So, where's the gals? off being wild and crazy diggities???
Updates pronto please.

Hows everyone getting on. Walshy and Littles, hows the cycles? Any sign of AF? Log on soon for a chat, i'm here to help if needed.

Come back Loopy, missing your chats.

Steph, good to hear from you. Bet your going to be one of those mums who dont gain any weight and will be a stick insect as soon as the baby appears  UNFAIR.
