hey gals,

I know autism has been a topic of discussion here lately, and my SIL just sent me a link to a website video by the band Five for fighting (I think?)...it's beautiful, and each time it gets a hit they raise money for autism research. Here's the link. You might have to copy/paste into your browser...

Hi everyone! Hope all the mommies out there are having a great day!

Kim~ Glad to hear you are getting some shut eye! It's jolting to be getting up when you had gotten use to sleeping huh? Sorry for the poor use of the English language there! Those tub seats you are talking about are what I asked the grandparents for for Christmas and no one could find them. Now I know why! I tried to take a bath with the babies the other night and all I can say is that a wet baby is a SLICK baby. Not a good idea. DH got as real kick out of it though and a greater appreciation of the routine.

Faithandhope~ We started our babies out int he pack-n-play for the first 6-8 weeks. I slept in the living room so dh could get a decent nights sleep for work and then I moved them to their cribs. We also live in a renovated farm house and the rooms are all very close so we never even needed teh monitor to hear them. Unfortunately we all hear each other rather well ALL the time here. Moving them to the crib was so much nicer for us all. It not only relieved some of the massive crap the babies were getting but just gave them a space they could start to feel peaceful in. We try to make their room a quiet place for books and alone time so that when they go to sleep they aren't expecting any action. They seem to calm right away when they get in there. For the most part. I've learned to NEVER say Always because the second you do they will prove you wrong.
Good luck to you and CONGRATS on getting the BOb stroller! I would have LOVED that thing but it was a splurge we didn't end up making but it is an AWESOME stroller. Our friends have it and LOVE it!!!!!

The kids and I enjoyed an afternoon at Barnes and Noble where they were showered with attention. I think I had to answer the "Are teh identical?" questions three times! Gotta love it!

Better run! Take care everyone!

kimberly--try checking out craigslist.com? You might have some luck finding those bath seats used in your area? Or ebay?

Jeremy is crawling!!! He has been moving a little bit but this morning he started crawling across the room! I think Nicholas is still a few weeks away. Now I really have to baby proof my house. I have been putting it off.

I used to have 30 minutes to get stuff done while they were in their exersaucer and jumperoo, but they will no longer sit in them for more than 10 minutes. They want down on the floor. I turned the loft area upstair into a playroom but DH hasn't gotten the gate mounted yet. I have it leaning across the stairway but that isn't sturdy. Luckily he isn't very fast yet.

You can see a video I took of Jeremy crawling. The quality is terrible as I did it on my camera and I think there are fingerprints on the lens. But you can see him in action.

Laura--That was great! He's really on the move! You better get DH to get that gate up fast! Nicholas reminds me of Braeden...he doesn't mind just hanging around! :) Ellie's totally doing that rocking motion, so I know she'll be on the move soon enough. Thanks for posting the video that was great!

Oh, today Ellie has developed a cold today and isn't napping well. So I'm off to bed early...I have a feeling I'll be up some tonight. :?

LauraLou...TOO CUTE! The boys are to die for...adorable little crawlers...such fun!

Overdue thank you to all of you ladies re: your car seat and stroller recommendations...thank you sooooo much...I'm waylaid (word?) trying to wrap up work by Friday so I can then shop for the babies...
Your advice is invaluable!

Very happy, Kholtan, to hear how well Bodie did in his tests....what a relief for you!
Hoping babies are sleeping well (moms too!) and that all colds will pass soon...

BEST TO ALL OF YOU...

Faith:

This is the Baby Bargains 2007 website...I haven't gone through it yet but according to the book (which I have found invaluable) it has some ratings of cribs/strollers/etc on it...

buy the book, if you have not already...it's great! It's better than the Ready or Not book...as it names manufacturers and ranks quality and gives insight into which cos will kind of screw you and make shoddy stuff...how to save $$, etc

Hey girlies!
Well, my home care nurses informed me that I need to get put on the Reglan Pump...it's a small cathedar in my leg that will apparently help me feel much better since I am still vomiting in week 17. Anyone heard about this or know people who had to get put on this??

Quita--yes, we remember you! Good to hear from you and glad you and the babies are well. We need to see pics! Post some soon!

Faithandhope--ugh. You win the award here for the worst morning sickness! I hope the pump helps you soon! I know my RE had a patient who had to wear a similar pump (I don't think she was as far along as you.) Are your babies growing at a good rate despite your pukiness? Hopefully this pump will put you back up to speed so you can get ready for those beautiful babies! Good luck!

Hope the rest of you are well...

This is one award I don't want! (-; Surprisingly, the twins are doing great and growing fine...they told me the twins will get what they need and I will be the one who suffers (some days I can barely function which is very unlike me!) I go in for OB appt. and 2 hour appt. with the specialist on Friday. I still haven't gained any weight though as of my last appt. and I'm almost 18 weeks. Say prayers! (-;
