Thanks Amy; I like the idea of keeping up with it until we all get our BFPs.

Hugs to you, and here's for AF to show:

Oh my gosh you guys. The last 24 hours have been crazy. Yesterday, I got home from work and was opening up a Fedex box (with my estrace in it) and the scissors slipped and sliced into my left hand at the base of my pointer finger on the palm side. I applied pressure to it and it stopped bleeding fairly quickly (within a minute). I put some hydrogen peroxide on it and went on my way (which really meant start making dinner for my daughter). DH was already at work (he is a police officer and right now is on evening shift which means he starts at 3pm and gets off at 2:30am) so once I got my daughter some dinner fixed I went to use the bathroom and I had quite a bit of brown blood. I knew not to worry but wanted to get my feet up so I sat down on the couch and watched the news and ate my dinner.

I went to bed around 8pm and woke up at 12:30 and had to pee. When I went to the bathroom I had bright red blood when I wiped. Of course I was all freaked out. I also noticed my finger that I had cut was really hurting quite a bit. I laid back down for an hour and got up at 1:30 to check and I still had bright red blood when I wiped but it wasn't coming out onto the pad in my underwear. I called the emergency number for my clinic and talked to the Dr on call. She said that up to 40% of IVF patients had bleeding and not to worry too much but to come in Saturday morning (today) to get checked out. So I tried to go back to bed the best I could until it was time to head to the clinic.

B/c DH didn't get off until the wee hours of the morning I left him at home with our daughter while I went to the RE's office. They did an u/s and said they think my cervix is just irritated by the Endometrin suppositories. So then I headed to the Emergency care center b/c my finger was still throbbing. They put me on a pregnancy safe antibiotic b/c they were afraid it was becoming infected.

To backtrack, once I got done at the RE I called DH and he was in a bad mood b/c he only got 3 hours of sleep before our daughter was up for the day. So I called my parents to go pick her up so he could get some sleep. So long story short I just got home and saw DH for 15 minutes before he went to work and he was still a little crabby about not getting a lot of sleep so I haven't told him yet (he didn't know I would be getting an u/s, all he knows is that they think my cervix is irritated) but we are pregnant with TWINS!!!!! I am still a little in shock. I couldn't bear to tell DH while he was putting on his uniform to walk out the door. I am going to wait and tell him tomorrow after he has had a good night's sleep and is in a good mood! LOL Sorry for the long story!

They saw both little heartbeats too. I am excited but also scared to death b/c I don't know how we are going to be able to afford to pay for 3 in daycare which is also the reason DH was very nervous about putting 2 Day-3 embryos back.

CT_Michele: Thank you! I do feel very blessed, especially since they were originally going to cancel my cycle b/c I only produced 3 eggs. I hope that if anyone reads these threads looking for a pick me up when they are told their cycle might be cancelled due to poor response that they see my story. I know I looked all over for stories where someone only produced a few eggs and still got a BFP and it was hard to find many.

Amy2410: Thanks for your well wishes. I am supposed to call the RE's office on Monday (I had to go to a different office today b/c the satellite office I normally go to isnt' open on the weekends) to see if they still want to follow up with me. They said most likely they will want to see me later in the week to check up on the bleeding.

Andnichole - Just logged on and saw your news and had to say CONGRATS!!! With those betas, I knew there was more than one.

I knew you would be the one that bring the TWINS to this thread after seeing your numbers. Please take care of those babies and be good to yourself. Know that God doesn't give you more than you can handle and it will all work out in the long run.

Everyone else, hope all is well.

DH and I went baby looking today at Burlington in Fredericksburg, VA and they were loaded with everything you could ever want for your baby. They have like a baby depot in the store and it was awesome. They had tons of nice stuff on Clearance for your baby if only we knew what the sex was. I promise that I will be back there as soon as I'm closer to delivery.
Me, 40 - DH, 47
IVF #1: POSITIVE - Michaela born 9/19/08
IVF #2: Consult on 10/13/09 - Start BCP Dec since clinic will be closed for the Holiday.

andnichole - congrats on the twins news, especially considering your story. I'm sure things will work out for you - hope you are feeling better - what a day you had yesterday and you managed to keep yourself together and even have the presence of mind to think about when the best time is to talk to DH -- think you'll be a wonderful mother! all the best. xxAmy

Washingtonda: Thanks for the well wishes. Baby depot is a great place to get baby stuff at a good price.

Neffi211: You have me cracking up. I hope you start feeling better very soon!

Schel67: Thank you for the congratulations.

Amy2410: Thank you for the kind words. My finger is doing a lot better today now that the antibiotic has kicked in. I can actually bend it and use it without it hurting.

I told DH this morning that Batman and Robin had set up camp in my uterus. His reply was "are you serious??" He said "well I guess if we have two more we do." I showed him the u/s pictures of the dynamic duo and he was like "oh my gosh." I can tell he is all stressed about where we are going to get the money to pay for 2 more in daycare plus paying for preschool tuition for our 3 year old. It ends up being an additional $735/month on top of what we pay now. I am all about being on a budget and planning so that we don't get strapped so this is totally throwing me for a loop. Can you tell? LOL

I am going to take the u/s pictures to work on Tuesday and scan them in so I can show you all.

Andnichole-- Cant wait to see the u/s! Daycare is such a financial burden...but you will work it out! What is your 3 yr olds name?

As for me....still camping on the couch...dreading the fact that I have to get up and go to work tomorrow feeling so crappy. Monday morning is depressing enough, plus be sick  Plus my whole weeknd was wasted doing nothing! Anyway....just waiting around for March to get here! C'mon March!
