Hi Chris --

My E2 was 50 for my first cycle, so they removed a left over cyst and go it to 24 before we started stims.

My next cycle it was below 20 and this last cycle it was at 35.

Do you have cysts that could be making estrogen?

Chris~ I think it's a good idea that you're trying to figure out what to do! What has your RE said about doing something different. Change the protocol, or do a FET. Ghost has said that a lot of cycles fail because of endometrial receptivity and perhaps a FET would be beneficial in your case! My E2 numbers on day 3 was around 35. My FSH is at 10.
I don't know why I stim so poorly either...just age I guess.
I would ask Ghost what he thinks about your E2 numbers in relation to your FSH. He is so awesome at providing valuable info.

Lynnie~ Your embies are progressing nicely!! I cross my fingers that you get a good transfer with 2 8 cells embies. That would be great!
I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you! :D
You have some really good E2 numbers! What is your FSH?

Thank you for all the warm congrats!! You all make me smile!
I can't wait to send tons of cheers to all the coming BFPs!!!
Later girls.

I have been following all of your posts during my 2 ww and want to say THANK YOU to all of you awesome ladies! I'm sure there are many others like me who have been following your stories and have been uplifted and given hope when needed, brought back to earth when faced with the realities of the success of IVF, and learned from your experiences. I have never posted on a message board until now but couldn't help but post to say Thanks!

Congrats to everyone with their BFPs, best of luck to those with BFNs, and to the rest of you still in the 2ww wait like me....let's keep the PMA! I do not POAS, since I know how upset I'd get with a BFN. However, one day when I get the BFP from my doctor, I'm going to POAS like crazy so I can see what it's like :D

Chris~ I'm sorry but I didn't see that you already had a post to ghost. I agree that it's strange that your nurse would talk to you about that and not your RE! Are they the same doctors that they had 2 years ago. As misfixit said it, perhaps a lot has changed since then. Ask them a ton of questions so you can make the best informed decision!

I really wish you the best and I know your time is coming next!

Lynnie~ At 42, that's a good FSH number!! I really hope you get your BFP. I'm rooting for you!

Congrats to AmandaM and valerie68 on your BFPs!!!

lynnie, I'm holding out for 2 strong embies for you to transfer.

Chris, I'd certainly think your RE would be able to figure out what's going on. Good luck!

A number of possible symptoms for me so far but it's to early to make anything of them. My beta is 9/15 (was supposed to be 9/14 but that's a Sunday). I think I'll POAS on Thursday, 9/11.

MY 2nd Beta

I had my second beta today which is now 13dp5dt and it is 4,056. The goal was to be at 1500-1600. Myfirst beta was 479. I was quite the over achiever on this however I find this high number alarming and its making me nervous for all the wrong reasons especially since yesterday I started with my first ymptoms which was crying all day...cause I am so scared of a m/c, eptopic or a molar or an empty sac or somehing unfortunate. I have researched allot of reasons for such high beta numbers and i came up with some scarey stuff- They havescheduled me for an early US this friday...so I guess that meas they are worried to

I know you al dont know my complete history...but I am panicking...any words of wisdom or helpful words of somethng that may make me feel less nagtive wuld be apprciated.......i imagine its the surge of hormonoes doing this to me....it has to be :(
ME: 39 DH: 46 :) TTC for 8 years
3 miscarriages (concieved naturally)
3 blasts transferred - 1st IVF - BFP !!

Toobee~ WOW girl, I'm in shock!!! What a high beta!!
My positive take on this is that you're carrying triplets! Not at all impossible with the good looking blasts you had transferred.
I know how much we can worry about all the things that can go wrong when one has gone through what you have gone through. I really doubt that it could be a m/c or ectopic as they have very strange slow rising betas, especially at first in the case of an ectopic. Not your case at all.
A molar pregnancy is very rare from what I have read.
So, the logical explanation would be triplets. :D
Are they doing another beta in a day or so to see your progression?
Stop reading all the possible causes for your high beta, you are only making yourself sick. Think positive thoughts...you are prego!!

I'll be thinking about you and your beanie babies!
