Hi everyone!
Congratulations to the "BFP"
Michelle How did your trigger go? Good Luck on your ER!
Hazel thank you. Stims are not fun! they are more painful, but nothing can be done  Good Luck on your ET today
Josee, sorry about your BFN. Usually depends on your clinic when you can start your next cycle. They could tell you next month or one month to rest, then second month you can start. Good Luck!
Everybody else, Good Luck!

Just a quickie - the clinic told us this morning (day 3) that of our five embryos, three were Grade 1 as at this morning (one 8 cell, one 7 cell and one 6 cell) and the other two weren't of suitable quality. So we had ET earlier today (after a longish wait at the clinic, because they were running 90 minutes late) and transferred one embryo (the 8 cell, I presume, although they didn't specially say). The other two have been frozen. We did debate about transferring two, but decided not to in the end because the embies were of good quality. Let's hope we made the right decision!

So I'm spending this afternoon and evening on the sofa in front of the TV, and my lovely acupuncture lady is coming at 8pm to do a house visit.

So...catch you all later, will do personals another time - hope everyone is doing OK. Michele, did you trigger last night?? Good luck for ER tomorrow!!!

Hi Hazel, Glad your ET went well! How long will you be on bed rest?

Michele, Good luck with your ER and your DH's TESE! I will be thinking of you :)

I had my Blood drawn this morning so now I'm just waiting for the phone call which probably won't be for a few more hours. I'm going crazy waiting for the call today. Even though I had several positive HPT's I'm still worried. I will post again tonight once I get the news.

Hey everyone!

Well, I did trigger last night, 11pm on the dot! We went for TESE this morning and I wish I had better news to report...it's not bad yet, its more like a "We don't know" for now. The actual procedure took much longer than expected, and they had to go into both sides of dh (ouch!). He is in a lot more pain than last time. His dr said he looked at a drop of sample and saw 1 sperm, which is way way low. So he stopped looking at samples since it wastes them (they can't be used then), so he just took a large sample from both sides and sent us on our way. I dropped it off at the lab, who just called. They prcoessed it and said the same thing, in the samll sample they looked at, 1 sperm, so the sample is incubating now and they will go through it all tomorrow after my retreival. They will go through the fresh sample first and the use our frozen vial as back up, I just hope they find enough sperm to fertilize all of my eggs. It will be such a shame to lose some eggs b/c we don't have enough sperm.

hazel- congrats on being PUPO! And great that you have 2 frosties. I am sending lots of sticky dust your way. Enjoy your couch and acupuncture.

Kline- was it really af? or did the bleeding stop or lighten?

dys- second beta numbers?

sportsmom- sounds like you are off to a good start...just a few more days of stims for you!

carolyn- we are keeping everything crossed for you.

hope2be- vent away! I know how frustrating it is to be waiting, I was delayed too...and the worst part is waiting to start. I hope you will get to start soon.

I will try and post again later, since I do not know if I will have time in the morning before ER. After ER, I will try and post when I feel up to it to let you all know how it went. Thank you all for your thoughts and well wishes. I will talk to you soon.

CT Michele- oh, ouch, I had no idea what TESE meant, but it doesn't sound like fun. What a double whammy.

Eileen: :) no worries, positive is positive, is positive!

hope2be- yes, it is a long journey for some of the guys as well, dh likes to say he shared in the pain of the process, he "contributed equally."

dys- yay for great second numbers! Your u/s will be a couple days after my beta probably. Have you plugged your numbers into the babymed.com hcg calculator? I have, and you are on the high side of a singleton...which I bet is also the low end of twins...so I am starting to wonder. My ER is scheduled for 11, but I have to be in trumbull by 10, so my mom is coming to watch Ella at 9:30.

Ian- yes, TESE means a sperm extraction right from the source, and it is not pleasant for the guys. The only part of TESE my husband enjoyed at all (and that is a stretch) was telling all of his guy friends in FULL DETAIL, just so he could watch them cringe at the thought. I think he liked doing it to try and "share" some of his pain...lol It was pretty painful just for his buddies to listen to the story. They are all going to go crazy when they hear he did it again, and this time they had to do both sides!

Eileen (trying)- any official numbers yet? We are all anxiously waiting...

Ok, I will post when I can tomorrow...thanks again so much for the support...I can't believe it is almost here!

Michele- I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you tomorrow! I'm so happy this is finally happening for you! Can't wait to hear how many you get, so update whenever you can. Yes I did plug them in to the calculator, I'm not sure if its 1 or 2. 2 would be great but 1 is fine with me too :D as long as my #'s are ok i'm fine with that. The only thing the nurse mentioned was that my progesterone is really high and that it started out high, but we will see.

ok back to sleep! ( I was sleeping all day today lol   I'm soooo tired)

Michele - thinking of you today hun! And poor DH - hope he's feeling less sore today...

Trying - congratulations, you've got your official BFP!

dys - fab second numbers, yippee!

Melanie - thinking of you at beta... And happy birthday to DH! I'm hoping he gets the best birthday present EVER!!

sportsmom - how are you getting on with your stims? Do they know yet whether trigger is going to be Thursday or Friday?

AFM, the sun is shining and it's another glorious UK day (we don't get very many of these!!) so I'm going to go and sit out in the garden. I'm already getting a little frustrated with taking it easy, lol! Plan is to stay in the house or garden today and then maybe take a walk tomorrow. On Thursday we go away to a hotel near the coast for a long weekend with the dogs (back on Monday) so it's going to be great to get away, do some beach walking, and generally have something to take my mind off the 2ww! Thankfully we've been to the hotel before so I know it has good internet access, and DH will take his laptop for work so I'll be able to keep up with all your news...
