I go back on Monday for another. Please pray for a good rise for me. We are cautiously optimistic. Who would have thought 1 little 8 celled embie is all it really takes?

Thank you everyone who helped me get here. Thanks for keeping me sane... for your support... for your PMA when mine was running low.... for your assistance with meds on my last two cycles.... and for being my friends.
Lou71- What SUPER news!!!! I am thrilled for you. Everything crossed for some nice progress news on Monday. I have my first beat on Monday- yikes.... x

Tammy, I go back Monday, but I am not expecting any good news. I am only doing IUI though, but maybe not now. I have heard that ICSI does increase chances of identical twins - although even with the studies, I don't think "they" know why. I think I am going to have to hold out for DE IVF. Congrats on fertilizing 4, that's exciting! How many do you think you will transfer?

Carol...since my August cycle (see siggy)...we've transferred 4 or 5 every time. So it will be all 4 again, unless some fall apart in the next 2 days. I normally have all good 4 cells embies on day 2...it's day 3 where the trouble often starts for me. Day 2 is tomorrow...so all I can do is hope and pray lots.

Lauren...Thanks for the boost of confidence.

Ashley - feel better!

Samantha - I'll be starting my ganirelix/cetrocide (depending in which the pharmacy has in stock!) on Sunday! The closer you get, the more frequently they want you to come in for SnS. For the first few days of stimming, the follies grow at a steady pace; as you get closer to ER, a tiny dosage change can mean a lot. I usually go every 3-4 days, then every other day, then everyday.

Kat - I'm sorry about your car! I love my car (I'm a dork) and whenever it's in the shop and I have a loaner - I just feel out of whack. I hope your car gets better soon!

Darlene- DH and I usually spend most of our weekends just catching up on laundry and dishes - hopefully now, I can keep up with that during the week....

Tiger - you are too early! That's the hard part with POAS.... try to wait a few more days, although I know you desperately want to know. (I want to know too!)

Tammy - I really hope all 4 make it to Sunday - hopefully this will be the cycle where all of us old veterans FINALLY move over to the 'dark side' :D I'm so glad to hear that your friends son is doing better. What a relief.

Lauren - almost all PMS symptoms are also early pregnancy symptoms - don't give up yet!

Rio - thanks for the encouragement. Hopefully the rain will stop so I can enjoy my 'vacation'! (although, that's a blasphemous thing to say here - everyone here constantly prays for rain... but I want it to stop!)

LYD10 - wow, I never knew that u/s could be so painful. Mine are uncomfortable, but definitely not painful! I'm sorry hon. How were your SnS results? Are you triggering soon?

Sherry - CONGRATS! The next part of IVF is the really easy part. The transfer is fine (the full bladder is uncomfortable, but there is no pain, just tiny discomfort, like a PAP smear). Then the 2ww!

nwquiz - where is AF? sheesh! I'm going to come kick her ass if she doesn't show up soon!

Lou - CONGRATS! lucky #6 it is! (also - look at how many people love you and are cheering for you! How amazing!)

Meinemo - I remember you from the Fall board - your siggy says you are in the 2ww from your FET -- come join us!

Ryann - I feel the same way about my first IVF - I didn't know anything and didn't ask any questions -- because I got pregnant with twins --- I never did! :D Enjoy your pregnancy --- this shit doesn't matter - only having those healthy babies does. (Unfortunately, some of us are still waiting for our babies to come home with us, so we obsess about this shit, because it's all we have)

Amanda (Trusting) - I'm so sorry. I know exactly how it feels to get a BFN on the same day as someone else's BFP and it sucks. I'm sorry hon....

Amanda (1979) - No idea about the yeast infection - never had one. I hope your RE calls you back soon so you can get some relief!

Lee - welcome! Feel free to come hang out here. I used to stalk a LOT before I got the nerve to post and join - but now I'm the famous 'listmistress'! These ladies are super supportive and not scary at all!

Carol - I'm so sorry to hear that your follies aren't growing the way they should be. Maybe the TI will work.... we've already got some really amazing good news - maybe Lou can send some baby dust your way. If not, I hope you can find a decision that you are at peace with, that's the most important thing. I'm pretty sure the age limit here is 42 (for the free IVF), but I could try to check. Even if not - I've heard that IVF is cheaper here --- Margi looked into to doing IVF abroad, maybe she can give you some advice if it's something you are serious about!

SD - I *LOVE* your ticker! You go girl! Might as well count this pregnancy alllllll the way from the beginning! 1w6d pregnant --too funny! Good luck!

Kynlee - this is the fun thing about being about 7 hours ahead of you guys --- tomorrow is almost here! Yay for starting Lupron! :D

AFM - nothing new or exciting! Just another 2 vials of Menopur today. I'm getting nervous about tomorrow's SnS. Usually I would have gone in on day 3 or 4 of stims, but my clinic is closed on Fri/Sat. So I'm going in on Sunday, which will be day 5. I'm really worried that either (1) the follies haven't grown at all or (2) the follies have grown too much and it's too late to start the antagonist (ganirelix or cetrocide). I'm just worried because there has been no opportunity to change the dosage... hopefully things will be fine....

Leora...I am sure everything will be just fine...but how odd that they are closed for 2 days. Very weird. My clinic is open 7 days a week, including Christmas. Oh and my ET is Sunday, 2.6.11, not today. Thanks!

SD...Yayyy for triggering!!! Wow! What happened? You weren't expecting it already, were you? WTG on the PMA ticker!

Tiger...You have been quiet...hope all is okay.

Lauren...I'm pulling for you!!! Where are you in your cycle now?

LYD10...I'm sorry it was so painful for you. Hugs.

Qita...Good Luck on Monday...if I dont get another chance to say so.

AFM: Doc just called me personally...he said he saw the embryos early this morning...and that all 4 are already at 3 and 4 cells each....which is wonderful and on track. However, they are always doing well at this point...so just praying for them to continue to do well overnight and so forth. We have a very busy couple of days now...and Thank God Zach seems to be completely back to healthy...so looks like we will be having some fun tonight after all. Love to all! :D

Hi Everyone,

I have been a long time lurker, this board has helped me tremendously during this first IVF.

I am now 7dp 5dt (3 embroyos) and I have been POAS all week, seeing one line after one line. I have been using internet cheapies that supposedly detect 20 hcg. I know it can be early, but I have ZERO symptoms and I cannot help but to feel depressed and negative. DH is absolutely pissed that I tested and I think I saw a tear when I told him it was negative. So, just sitting here until beta day on Monday, searching the internet for someone in the same situation that had the good news ending I so desperately want....

Thanks to all for posting your stories.

Tammy - I have a good feeling about your cycle. I think that change was all you needed! I am 9 days post IUI (ovulation). I have not POAS yet. I have not bought them yet! It seems every time I get them I get a negative and AF comes the next day. Maybe I will get some for tomorrow and Monday though anyway.

Wow... I am humbled and overwhelmed by all the love pouring in from you ladies. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! Here is my lame attempt at thanking everyone.

hopeisallihave --Thank you for "screaming in happiness" for me. I can't wait to cheer for your BFP! Your beta is less than a week away!

hotgreentea -- Thank you. It really is amazing.

margi -- You are awesome... thanks for the blinkies. Just think, we will be celebrating YOUR BFP in about a month!

Meinemo-- I've been wondering about you a lot. I remember you had a confusion with your meds. Did that delay your FET? You are PUPO now! Please keep us posted. Thanks for jumping in with your warm wishes.

Kat -- Thanks so much. Yes, my nurse who called said I was "very pregnant" and said it was a good number. Of course I'm still nervous... the tww just becomes another type of wait after the initial beta.

Ryann -- You are too funny! Running your cell phone nearly dead checking in. I really appreciate it though. Much love to you my friend. XOXO

Ronda!-- Hilarious... "halla-frickin'-luya". I love it. That's EXACTLY how I feel.

karenthescorpio-- OMG... I almost don't believe it. Thanks for the cyber hugs. I felt them!

babyluv3 -- Thanks hun. I really appreciate your support!

katie99 -- Thank you so much my friend!!! You gotta youtube that happy dance for me to see!

kimber -- Awww.. thanks hun. You're so sweet tearing up over my BFP. This was so unexpected and really surprised us.

AmandaM -- Thank you. I'm really sorry for your BFN. As you can see by mine and several others signatures, sometimes this journey is long with bumps in the road. I just keep praying that one day it will all be worth it. I hope you will try again. I believe you will get your BFP.

nwquiz -- You got it! I will be sending you all the good karma and positivity I can find so it will help you and others get BFPs.

Rio-- Loooove the butterfly blinkie! Thanks my friend.

hazel -- I love that you were stalking me too! Wow... I didn't know George was the "lone embie" too. How wonderful. Yep... I welcome every symptom I can get! But today I feel great... wth?

krcaja -- lol... I love that you scared your poor hubby by screaming. I can't wait until I see that heartbeat. I look forward to the crew being on the other side of the boards together.

Ester -- Thanks sweetie. Your post brought tears to my eyes. It really means a lot to me that my cycle gives you hope. I think that's really important. And proof that ANYTHING is possible. Much love to you.

Claud -- Thanks for being my "silent cheerleader". It's means a lot to me that you've been there.

Amanda1979 -- Thank you so much! Despite my good first beta, I'm still nervous about Monday's beta.

karin1-- Thank you! I look forward to joining you on the other side of the boards once I get that heartbeat!

katieb -- Thank you my friend. You were right! Why didn't you tell me sooner???? lol

klinger -- From your mouth to God's ears for watching that beta growing. I'm nervous! But choosing to be optimistic.

LYD-- I almost can't believe it myself. You did tell me so... and you were right! Thanks for the friendship.

Franny -- How I've missed you! Thanks for following my journey. It means so much to me. I'm so excited about your upcoming FET!!!!!! We WILL be bump buddies!!!! Crash here more often. XOXO

Kim (rlk1)-- Of course I remember you! How are you doing? Thank you for crashing and for your well wishes. What is next for you my friend?

wannabeamum -- You prayed for me? Thank you so much. You don't know how much I appreciate that. I will definitely be praying for you as well.

Lee -- Thanks for joining us here and for posting to congratulate me. I'm very touched that you called me an inspiration. It's been a long road and I feel I still have a long ways to go. But it's proof that anything is possible. I had only one embie fertilized. Clearly God was involved here.

Lauren1171 -- Thanks for including me in your prayers. It worked! I know you don't feel great about this IUI, but that you will cycle again and you WILL get that BFP. It is soooo entirely possible.

CJ -- I admit I did have symptoms but was afraid to admit it to myself. It's much easier for me to celebrate a BFP than to think you've got it and end up devastated. I know you have a very difficult decision to make about your cycle. I was faced with the "convert to IUI or go through with IVF" knowing that we *might* get 3 mature eggs. Well, you know how that turned out. Do what your heart tells you to do. Donor eggs have awesome success rates if that's the route you choose. I will be here cheering you no matter what.

Darlene -- Thanks, hun. Funny thing is, no nausea at all today except for brushing my teeth. Strange.

SDtrying -- Thank you! I do feel like this will make one heck of a story someday. "Legend"... I like that word! Good luck at ER on Sunday! I'll be thinking of you. I think you have great chances.

Tammy -- LOL... thanks my friend for your joyful screams. I think I heard them! What do you make of the pink butterflies? It will soon be my turn to scream for you. I'm glad Zach is feeling better. I hope you are able to have a great weekend.

qita71-- Good luck on your beta Monday!!! It will be a nervous day for both of us. Thanks for your support.

Sonya -- AAAAHHHH!!! I don't believe it yet. It hasn't sunk in. I keep asking DH... "Am I really pregnant?" Thanks for the HUGE congratulations. lol

kynlee -- Thank you. Right now it feels like I have huge hurdles to overcome still. We are optimistic though. I truly appreciate your support and I'm excited about your upcoming cycle. Your BFP is just around the corner.

Angela -- Thank you my 'ol cycle buddy. Your prayers for Monday's beta are appreciated.

baby_blu73 -- Thanks so much for your congratulatory post! How are you feeling twin mama? I can't believe you are almost half way there!!!

Leora -- Ah... you don't know how good it looks to have my name on the "knocked up and proud" list! Let's hope I can hold onto this one. This will be your lucky cycle too. I can feel it. The 6th transfer is the charm!

Happy Bunny -- Thank you! I really appreciate your support. Thanks for the post.

AFM -- Still in a bit of shock. DH and I went out to dinner to celebrate last night. We haven't told anyone except for my boss who called me to find out and my acupuncturist. She feels strongly that the pink butterflies either mean it's a girl or that my mother was with us that day. Sweet lady, but a little out there...lol. Of course she's taking all the credit for my BFP. Maybe she's right? Nervous for my beta on Monday for sure. For all of you who are PUPO, my beta was fairly high at 14dpo. I did a HPT at 8 dpo because I thought I felt early implantation at 5-6 dpo. It was NEGATIVE. Even this morning the second line is still slightly more than a shadow on a test that should have a sensitivity of 20. Don't read too much into those tests. Especially if taken before 14dpo.

Re: Winter 2010-2011 Cycle Board

hi all, just a quick hello. i just came back from the ET and the embryologist showed me pics of the blastocyts and they are not very promising. they transfer three to increase my chances that one will take since they are not of high quality blatocyts. i was so upset i started crying even before the ET. my bf says that they are the three stooges...i know he was trying to make me feel better...so, i'm glad he was there. now, as a microbiologist, i know what cells are suppose to look like and it's not at all like that. i'm so worried that they wont take b/c of the low quality. i think i'll just bum around for the rest of the day.
