what are auto-immune suppressant drugs?
Here is what I take
Utrogest, Utrogestan, Progynova, low-dose aspirin
then as recommended by my RE, I also take the following vitamins and minerals: EVit, Magesium, Folic Acid, Zinc+Selenium & prenatal vitamin.
I have to admit, I've become a much better pill swallower since I started doing IVF!
I think the aspirin has an effect on the blood flow/blood clots and helps to avoid miscarriage.
I hope with this post I can spread some baby dust to those of you waiting -- Today we saw our precious little embryo on the screen with its beating heart. Simply and truly amazing. We left with huge smiles and a very nice picture...
We go back in 3 weeks for the next scan and sincerely hope our good fortune continues to grow and develop.
I hope so much that you will all have the chance to have this experience, it is more than worth the wait.
Congratulations Summer! What a special day it must be for you. It is truly an amazing experience. Enjoy the next 8 months - they go by quickly!!! And then you'll have your little bundle in your arms! Even more amazing!

Sorry I have been away for so long, the clinic in Prague offered us a date for 5th March which we accepted. So long story short, after doing much soul-searching etc I decided not to go ahead with it. So that is it. Right now I am happy with the decision and also with my life and if in the future I'm not, well I shall deal with it then.

There is nothing like going through tmt -- whether it be DE, regular IVF or whatever, when your heart, soul, mind & body aren't there 100% to support you. I'm sure you have made the right choice for yourself right now.

I am hanging in there -- my next scan is next Tuesday. DH calls it the next photoshoot....thought that was really funny....He has been coming to all the appts so far... It can be quite nervewracking at times not knowing what is going on in there, but I try to keep my PMA and think about how lucky I am to have gotten this far.
Chris - hope your doing ok and the wiat is not dragging you down too much - have they given you a rough timescale for a donor ? - hugs to you honey ((())) x

I am just waiting for AF - last BCP today and if last month anything to go by AF should be here by weekend - then straight on to my pill popping - then all crossed on day 17 I will be PUPO - never had a linning issue before - so all crossed - got accupuncture this morning so she said she will do lots of work on getting AF started asap - also got contact for accupuncture whilst in Prague - the plan is alll coming together - just frustrating cos am so out of control of all this and I am a bit of a control freak
Anyway work calls - well accupuncture first actually
