awww, shucks, thanks guys!

Every time we go out, I ask D a million times if I look pregnant or just fat. I guess I'm starting to look a little pregnant because the friend we met for lunch 'guessed'!

In-laws are coming and staying overnight. I guess this means I have to put away the clean laundry that's been piled on the guestbed, that I've been too lazy to put away....

I'm feeling good - and getting more confident after my scare last week. I'm finally starting to think that we'll bring these babies home, maybe.

Blair - it's definitely weird (and wonderful) being so close to the end after this journey!

Leora - YAY for hitting 18 weeks! You are plugging right along and yes, you are going to bring home two happy & healthy baby boys.

AFM, had my prenatal appt today and they did a NST. The little one had me a bit worried for the first 10 minutes, then things calmed down. I was contracting quite a bit at the start of the test and she moves around like crazy when I'm contracting so I was having to push the button to log her movement almost constantly. Well, during that time her h/b was up in the 190s and wouldn't come back down (she's normally around 145.) So the nurse had me chugging bottles of water and put me on my side. Finally things calmed down, the contractions spread out a bit, her h/b slowed down to normal and all was well with the world again. They also did a quick u/s to check amniotic fluid level and that looked great. I think we're going to schedule the c-section for 7/7 as that would put me at exactly 39 weeks, but doc thinks given what's happening lately there's a good chance I'll go into labor before then and if that happens, we'll just do the c-section at that time. But now I know that in 30 days or less I'll be holding our little girl, WOW!!

Amanda...I'm sorry that contractions are so strong, but that's great that Maribel is doing so well. 7/7/11 sounds like a great bday!

Leora...Love the bump! Congrats on 18 weeks!!! I just love turning over to a new week! You WILL be bringing home 2 beautiful little boys!!!!

Kat...Ugh....nausea. I had mine from 5.5-about 19 weeks. I finally started to feel normal and then got put on bedrest! I hope you luck out and have crossed that bridge already!

Stephanie...You are doing an awesome job and I hope to be in your shoes in 7 weeks...2 good sized babies and still cooking!

Blair...My sister still hasn't gone into labor, so she made it through my shwoer! Wait til I post today's bump...I think I popped!

Lou...What awesome pics of CHLOE! Lol (or Peyton???) I seriosly think I want to got o COD for an ultrasound! How did you sign up for that?? I'm only 15 minutes from there

EOE...I hope you're all doing great today!

AFM...My baby shower was amazing! I was so touched by the generosity of our friends and family...we don't have to buy a THING for these babies! We had already purchased our stroller and furniture and bedding, but now everything else (x2) is covered! Their wardrobe is killer too! So many cute boy/girl twins outfits! I've been out of work for 6 weeks now and a lot of the staff sent gifts with a few of my work friends that came to the shower, which was sooo thoughtful! My mom also put together a diaper raffle and we got TONS of diapers in N-size3! As you can imagine my bedrest has been in the nursery this week sorting through everything. There are pics, but they are on DH's camera, and it's a bit intimidating! I'll have to ask him to upload them for me so I can share a few! I may go snap a few pics in the room on my phone to share....there's just so many exciting things!

I am also going to post my 29 week bump...or mountain as it suddenly feels like. I think they popped all of the sudden! They are too funny and they both like to stick their little booties out my side....DH laughs everytime he gets to feel their little butts! Actually, as I type I have a Bella butt poking out!

My sister did NOT go into labor, in fact, her big ole baby boy decided to flip! So her c-section is cancelled and we now wait

And here is their closet! Check out all the diapers! So far I just hung up some of the newborn clothes. The organizers are full of the next sizes that I will wash as I need!

Rypell - love the outfits and pictures! One big suggestion is actually measure the clothes crotch to shoulder, if you only go by label you will be surprised at how much bigger a 3 mo can be than a 6 mo label, we lost way too many clothes with DS that way because I went by labels. Also, when you have a newborn you will find out how much laundry you are doing so sometimes piles of outfits are easier to deal with than hanging up, once the growth slows down after about 18 mos I started hanging everything! I also highly recommend using bibs at this pt for spit ups, changing a soft bib is way easier than the whole outfit! Plus you are going through all this x2!!!! Love the room!!!

Ryann -- Love the bump! You look great. Also, the outfits you have are sooooo cute!!! Glad you had a great shower. The COD u/s I did was a lot of fun and was nearly 1.5 hrs!!! Here is the link if you'd like to go. They are looking for women of certain gestations. I was a "20 week volunteer". Hopefully they are looking for ~ 30 weekers now.

Kat -- Sophia is a beautiful name! Is DH's cousin closeby? If not, then you can most definitely use it!

AFM -- I just booked a last minute visit to a friends in San Francisco the weekend of July 8th. My doc said I can't travel after 27 weeks so that will be the last possible time I can go. But I'm looking forward to it! Chloe has been active today. It's so much fun to feel her moving and wonder if she's playing with her toes or what. I talk to her when I'm driving and ask her things like "what are you doing sweetie? how do those toes feel today?"

Bliss - THANK you!! I'm so overly ecstatic to be having a girl! I just can't wait to start shopping for her! DH fears that I'm going to make Athena too "girly" and do all sorts of princess stuff with her, making him feel all left out. But I have a love/hate relationship with the color pink, so I don't think I'm going to go too overboard with the color.

Amanda - thank you!! I can't believe you'll be holding your little girl in less than a month! How amazing! I can't wait till this board starts popping out babies and posting their baby pics! So exciting!!

Ryann - how adorably cute is your belly! And omg, love, love the outfits! I also love the cribs! Is that espresso? What kind did you get? I've been trying to amazon shop and put together a wish list. I wanted to go with cherry wood because I absolutely love it, but when I saw the espresso, I also fell in love with that. Now I'm swaying more towards the espresso! My sister is due any day now, too! Her due date is June 13th, but he may make an earlier appearance. We shall see! Let's race to see whose sister goes into labor first! haha, j/k!

Lou - I just loved your U/S pics! How adorable is your daughter! Ours was not all that active during the scan, but she did manage to stick her tongue out at us. It was too cute! Shucks, you're coming to SF, and I'm leaving SF the weekend before - for good! I talk to baby Athena the same way too! I love when she kicks me, which is happening a lot more often now. Starting w20d1, DH and I saw my stomach twitch for the first time, too! It's just the most amazing feeling ever! Oh gosh, I'm so in love with my daughter!!!

AFM - gosh, there is WAY too much going on. We're leaving California for good on June 30th. That's when we begin our drive to the lovely Dallas area. We finalized our apartment for an 8-month lease just yesterday in McKinney, TX. That should give us ample time to try to look for a house while we are in the area. Since we are moving around week 24, my family is putting together an early baby shower for me. I feel silly doing it that early, but I also do not want to miss out on the opportunity of having a baby shower for my little Athena. So now I have to rush into having a baby shower at 23 weeks, 4 days before we leave. We're packing, planning, and going nuts in the meantime with this move.

Kat- i had my first obgy appt and it was a waste of time for me. not even a hb was taken except 7vials of blood and a deposit of urine left behind plus answered a set of questions. am so diassapointed. next appt in 4weeks. i so much miss my clinic now coz they would have done a us. lol will i survive it.
AShley- good luck in you trip to texas and the shower.
nothing new to report its just seems like my belly is still so big from all the bloat it has not gone down so i already look pregnant.Thank god still no morning sickeness and the tiredness and sleeping in the midle of the day is wearing off.

Ryann- You do not look like you are carrying twins at all. Glad you had a good time at your babyshower and your Sister was able to be there. The outfits are adorable and love the nursery. I am feeling good again to today though I did throw up yesterday from brushing my teeth and this morning I just dry heaved after since no food in me. So I guess I'm not totally over MS but I really do feel good besides being really tired.

Nwwhiz- I'm so sorry you didn't have a good OBGYN appointment. I know some OBGYN's don't bother checking that till after 12 weeks as 9 weeks there is always that chance they may not hear it and cause the Mom undue stress. I know it's hard not to worry but you will be fine. With the blood work they are checking your hormones etc and if anything is off they will call you. Are you still on any meds? I end my PIO shots on Sunday. I can not wait. Oh and like you I'm already showing. I've always been one of those girls that could wear my regular clothes till 5 months. Ya that is not going to happen this time. I'll be buying some bigger clothes in a few weeks.

Ashley- Yay on team PINK. Good luck with your move and hope you have fun at your babyshower. That me be a lot to take in at once. Make sure you don't over do anything. Just get a lawn chair out and drink a virgin pina colada and watch everyone else do the work;) It's the one time you can get away with it.

Klinger you must be so exciting to be coming so close to meeting your baby girl So they let you go into labor even though you are having a c-section? I had a classic c-section so they can't let me go into labor.

Lou-DF cousin is near by but she is much younger than us (22) and we only see her on x-mas eve or if there is a communion, wedding etc. San Francisco sounds like a great trip. I need a mini vacation badly. You must love that Chloe is moving all around. I love that feeling because it reminds you that yes this is real.

Leora- Wow 18 weeks already. Time is flying by. I with you on letting the lundry pile up in the spare room. I actually tried conquering some last night.

Blair - I guess I have been pretty lucky. But I'm only carrying one so maybe that's why. I can't imagine carrying twins and having double the hormones. The DF would probably move out of the house, I'm so moody as it is.

AFM:- Nothing going on except that my belly seemed to pop overnight on Monday. DF was teasing me last night. He was like um your not even 3 months yet and you've got a belly. I've never showed this early ever. I told him it's because his baby is the biggest baby I'll probably carry;) He's 6'5. I've put on 4 lbs already and it's all in my belly.

Sweetpea - plus don't forget your ovaries are swollen and everything else from the meds, it sure makes you feel huge early. I had OHSS this time so I looked 8 mos at 2 mos!!!!! Any feeling on boy/girl?

nwquiz - I had a vacation with DS at 5 mos and had a blast so if you are comfy and OB says it is ok then by all means have your baby moon!!!

Hope - let everyone pack for you! Sit around and do nothing is great advice! I wish you the best on your move!

Lou - bring sweaters! Summers can be very cold in San Francisco!!!!!!!

Amanda - I have to have a c-sec since my hospital does not allow VBAC, but they are holding me to the 26th of July (5 days early) when DS was 10 days early, and I am already having contractions. So how does that work, OB said if you go into labor we will rush you into a c-sec but he didn't seem opne to rescheduling my c-sec to a few days earlier to be on the safe side...

Amanda: Wow... You are sooo close! If you are already contracting, how will you know when to report to the hospital?

Ashley: Welcome to Team Pink!!! I literally squealed with delight when we learned our gender flavor. I even drove immediately from the doctors to a baby store to buy a pink frilly dress! How exciting!!! Tell your husband that he is screwed... She's going to steal his heart and never give it back.

Ryann: Awesome pic! Your pregnancy is cruising right along... Before you know it, you'll be at the finish line.


AFM: We're full term!!! The last few days, I've been having some pretty significant pelvic pain, pressure and stabbing feelings in my cervix and my sleep is constantly interrupted by trips to the potty. At today OB visit, I learned that I've been feeling so rough because Brooke has dropped very low and her head is engaged - so much so that my cervix is actually behind her head (mega OUCH during the pelvic exam!). Labor can still be weeks away as my cervix still has a lot of change to make but we're one step closer.

I'll be honest... I'm tired of being pregnant and am ready to hold our baby. At this point, I'm impatient, uncomfortable and feel like I'm in a three week waiting line for a really awesome ride at Disney World.
