Whoa!

so many replies to make! This thread is very active, I love it!
I'm at work right now; my 3pm patient cancelled and, very exceptionally, no hospit. patient needs to be seen this afternoon. I'll take it easy and try not to spend hours on baby names sites... (I should really NOT do that, at least not before I get that BFP...

)
I'm now on day 33 and still no sign of AF! My breasts hurt a little bit, though. pffff....
Ange: being bloated is really a pain in the neck; I'm sorry for you! I don't know if you can take Beano while pregnant, but if you can... it helped me a lot with bloating in the past. And of course there's the old technique.. lie flat on your stomach on a hard surface... and wait!
Vickie: yay! A new beginning!

I'm happy for you; it's great to feel like you're getting there, being proactive. My thoughts and prayers are with you sweetie!
Rachel: yes! I'm enjoying being part of this family! A lot! It's great to have that place to vent and just share... my DH and I have decided not to tell anybody except my best friend and one of my close friends in NYC about the dates of our cycle. We just don't want people to expect details when they ask for news.
bec: Sorry to hear that your DH is coughing that much! Poor thing!! How is your sleep with all that? And about now answering the phone, I think I would do the same. I would "die" during the wait, but I would do it all the same. Won't you be tempted to do an HPT before? With Procrea clinic, things happen a little differently. We get tested on the 16th day after ER; it's a blood test of course, but we get the results 30 minutes later in the nurse's office. It's official that I'll do a HPT that very morning. If it's negative, I don't want to loose my composure in front of the nurse and then come out of her office crying, cross the whole waiting room and walk aaaaall the way to the car still dealing with the shock of the news! So even if the HPT is less reliable, I'll do it all the same, just to prepare myself.
Either way, bec, my thoughts are with you. I'm sure you'll have the strength to have fun with your loved ones while waiting to get back home and check the answering machine.
Shantala: your first IVF too? That's great!

When do you plan to start your cycle? Or has it started already? I'm really looking forward to share that first time with you dear! And lol, you'll have to tell me more about that sh** shield! Sounds handy!
SS: I don't know about oatmeal's laxative properties... but I was talking about flax seeds. The fact she put them in her morning cereals was just a way for her to take them. I guess you could put them in your oatmeal indeed.
mom: thanks for your warm words of welcome! And Congratulations for the job interview!!! What kind of job is it?
tc: the picture of your DH talking to your belly is just adorable! lol I doubt mine will do the same! I think he'll fully get attached to the baby/babies only once the first trimester is over. It's just our different ways of dealing with life situations; he's not the dreamer type!
Aunty : I'm really curious about the prune juice thing as well... why would it be "dangerous" during the cycle?
Erin : if you KNEW how much I empathize with you sweetie! I, too, have been feeling juuuust about to get AF for the past week, and nothing! I understand your frustration, really! I'll do the jig dance for both of us!
Have a great day ladies!
Sophie
