Hi Phoenixes

Lisa you have certainly started the year of well for everyone, Congratulations again. I bet you still can’t believe it. I still can’t believe sometimes that I am one of the lucky ones that’s got pregnant. Don’t worry about your AF type pains, I was so sure that AF was going to come I had some of the worst AF pains Its just your body adjusting.
Does the clinic do a scan at 7 weeks, so that you can see your little miracle on screen?

Kate I am sorry you are having a bit of a bad time with your friends falling pregnant, it always feels like a kick in the teeth. You will get there and get that BFP and it will make you appreciate the pregnancy and baby so much more. I was getting to the stage where I would do anything to avoid babies and pregnant women. I still now when I find out someone is pregnant after trying for such a short while think how unfair it is and it should be all of you on here falling pregnant.

Nicki what a pain about work, you certainly don’t need that worry. Don’t let it stress you out if you can help it. When you get that BFP you won’t care about the sales targets then! That’s the worst thing with the treatment you seem to spend most of your time waiting for the next appointment.

Kate good luck with your scan on Friday for your FET, how are you feeling? I am glad AF arrived on time.

Julie how are you feeling. I cant believe that you didn’t get to ET. I know exactly how you would have felt because my 1st cycle was abandoned after EC because of OHSS. I was gutted I had got so far and then the plug was pulled. Looking back I know I wasn’t well enough to have ET but at the time it seemed the end of the world. Crossing everything for you that you are fluid free and AF arrives on time.

Jen I don’t blame you doing all the research now for the donor eggs now, the more information you have the better the decision that you make will be. Then you can go straight into the treatment after your wedding. What a year this will be, wedding and pregnant. Go Girl you can do it. Hope you have had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed the skiing.

Lucy I am sorry your going through such a tough time at the moment. On the plus side its great that the consultant said that your egg quality is good, on my last go I only had one embie transferred and that was all I needed in the end, so you only do need one. I don’t think there is any harm in going for the counselling for the egg donor because it may well give you something else to focus on while you are going through your IVF and then when you get that BFP that you so deserve nothing else matters then.

I have only got this week at work, Im off today waiting for the nursery furniture to be delivered. Then 4 days left at work. We got a new car at the weekend, finally thought we had better get rid of my sporty number and get a sensible family car!
me 38 DH 43 TTC 7.5 yrs. 1st IVF June 05 ended in severe OHSS never made it to ET. FET Nov 05 -ive. FET April 06 -ive FET June 06 OMG BFP

Hi Girls - Hope you all had a good relaxing weekend.

Lis - Still on could nine I assume! good on ya. have you told family and friends? (shouting from the rooftops i imagine) such a happy time for you both. Hope you have a happy healthy 40 weeks!! x

Nikki - Sorry you are down with work. Such a bummer when you spend the majority of your life there!!!! Hope things improve. As for the waiting and waiting and waiting I am right with you kiddo. As for us DH will have to have another sperm retrieval if we run out (OUCH!)...ET will be approx 11 weeks (6/7 weeks from next AF) so I work out it will be on or just before my hol in Wales at Easter!! Hope to god it is before.......

Gail - How fab you only have 4 days in work....I can believe you still have to pinch yourself....Hope the furniture arrives on time and you aren't kept hanging around

Jen - How was your weekend? Hope you are in one piece. Skiing is not a thing I fancy - far too mard and hate slipping in the snow here!!

Kate - Sending you a big cuddle. it is hard and so unfair :( but your time will come. (I had a bad day Saturday, first one in ages when at my friends with her bambinos, don't you resent them if only for a split second) Lisa has made sure we will all follow her footsteps! Glad AF behaved -good luck for Friday xx

Lucy - how ya feeling today? Hope ok and more settled with stuff. The counselling may be a good idea. I dont fancy it at all and thankfully it wasnt compulsory for us but sure it is good/beneficial. Take care of yourself x

Hi all you PHEONIXES...

:D :D
Good to hear that even with everyday stresses ( bosses, jobs, briedesmaids being preggers etc) WE ARE ALL SO HAPPY TO HAVE YOUR GOOD NEWS CONFIRMED FOR YOU LISA :D :D

Lisa- I honestly can't stop grinning for you...you must feel so proud!!! I know the fear factor can raise it's ugly head too very easily at this time :? But keep focusing on the positive :D that fact that your BETA was so high!!!!  Fingers crossed you can get an early 7wk scan. Which would be in 2 and a half weeks  Keep smiling and sending lots of love your way!

Kate great news on the scan 2nd Feb...Not long to go now honey. Is it a med led FET? or like gails no meds? I'd hate to be a bridesmaid and everyone else has kids or is pregnant...But you never know 3rd one lucky youmwill be next!!!

gail good to hear from you...posty when you can honey...Know at 33wks it must be difficult to find the time, energy, and comfortable room to fit a bump in front of computer  Good luck getting rid of the car and getting a more practical motor  Have you bought a pram yet??? My sister made sure ( by her 3rd kid) that she could fold it and lift it into the back of the car...Many are so heavy and bulky to fold. Good to hear work is nearly finshed...end of onetime in yur life and the start of another... :D :D We are thinking of you.... love x x

Lucy- It sounds good that you and your boyfriend are offered some counselling. It did help me come to terms with loss of my babies and set me up for ivf. Hopefully your FSH will continue to be stable as last time and you again get 4 or more embies...Look after yourself sweetie! x x

Julie- good news about the next 6-7 weeks for transfer....That brings us lots of Hope. Keep looking after yourself Honey you are doing so great. Hope it's before Easter too!
I have skied for 27 years ( god that makes me sound old!!!) and used to race for the Scottish Schools. I just have always loved it and the snow so much. know what you mean though I hate the falls and that's why i haven't done too much snowboarding!!! cause i am too scared of having a bruised bum!!!

Nicki sweetie..that is work stress you don't need! How are you managing to chill out when your home? Is it effecting your sleep?
You said ..."I sit and wait, does an angel contemplate my fate????"
the waiting is the most difficult..in fact the whole getting pregnat thing and giving birth is just WAITING and WAITING as well as worry. If we just focused on that we would all go mad sweetie. The head and heart thng is a difficult one to balance...I have to stop myself living in the fantasy land of the future with Adam & I, walking Broc, while pushing a baby in a pram. I know it will come one day but keeping thinking about what might be can send ME into depression. I found that here and now is what matters and i got to live my life too.The journey to being pregnant is a real hard one and you have gone through 6 years of it. I Hope and pray that your journey will be complete when you go for ivf this March and you get your well deserved BFP!. x x

Hi to MLG and Souris... x x x

We enjoyed a good weekend away but am exausted...trying to ski with MS is more tiring than i thought. The weather was good on sat and i skied to 12pm and i slept for 3 hrs after. On sunday i only did a few runs but that was enough...as i was so tired. Have called the MS clinic today to get a check up on increasing my meds for the Wedding then taylor them off for ED in summer. I have to go through lots of tests for Russia so we have decided to get them all done othere and will go a dry run probably in May. I need to get a 6 day scan ( to check womb lining) and lots of swabs to check everything else is A okay. Know it is as have been through it all here but over there they only allow date for the tests to last 3 months. So gotta go through it all again! Ah well it does put my mind at reat!

On a good note AF arrived 2 days early this month and is her usual self...so after all lasts months fiasco of pain and hormone shifts ishe seems to have settled herself.

I have finally :D ( jump for joy!!!) finished all the invites for the wedding and they will be posted this week. Adam goes away on thursady for his 'Stagg' boys skiing 5 days in Europe and i am going to my mums to try on wedding dres s and paraphanialia...to see if it all goes...Everyone thinks we are mad to ski in wedding dress and kilt. But as we are getting married on the part of the mountain we choose it makes sense to me...Special!

Love to you all

Hi Girls,

Just a quickie as I am off for a swim in a minute - its my keep fit campaign befire the FET!!! Must be mad swimming 80lengths!! However the PMA has returned and I am feeling good.....so I need to make the most of it!!

Anyway, Nickie I know what you mean about work, its doing my head in! Can't wait until half term, but I understand what you mean about doing the work yourself so you can go home on time. What would happen if it doesn't get done until the following day? Perhaps you should try that, it definitely not worth stressing about tho! :D

Jen - your wedding sounds lovely! How cool would it be to ski down in a wedding dress and a kilt?!! Can't imagine my husband being up for that, far too cold for him, but I suppose he is from the Caribbean so he's not used to the snow!!

Hi to everyone else, hope life is not stressing you out too much! Jen - by the way my FET is non-medicated, so much easier!!

Speak to you soon

Hi Girls, just don't seem to find the time to post lately, I do check in all the time though and read through new postings........

Had a bit of a scare on Monday with my sister, she is 24 wks preg, she started to bleed heavy, she went to the hospital, they checked her over and the baby seemed fine, very active they said.... they don't know where the blood came from, it has stopped now... but still very scary...! She still has quite a way to go, but I'm sure everything will be OK. She has taken time out of work just to rest up..!!

Lisa - You are 100% right, using a donor DOESN'T make the slightest bit of difference, I can imagine you are both Ecstatic, do you know I cried when I read your post, I am so happy for you both, its funny, because we don't know each other in person on this thread, but in a way we do because we all know what the other person is going through...!! You really are an inspiration to us - the first BFP from our phoenix girls.. lets hope there is many more to come.... OMG twins, that would be amazing.. can't wait for your scan now to find out.. also my birthday is the 9th, libra's are lovely..! Take Care sweetie..

Julie - Hi Hun hope you're OK? Good news about ET being in about 6/7 weeks, bet you're getting excited... Have you been back to clinic or anything about fluid, ahs it all gone now?

Jen - Glad you enjoyed your weekend away. Have you contacted docs yet about your meds, can you not take them then while going through treatment or is it just that you can take as much? The ED donor sounds to be coming along, so will you stay out there for a couple of weeks or juts a week, are they finding you a donor now, how long does that take? Not long till you’re wedding now, I agree with others, you'll be married then pregnant.. your wedding sounds very romantic.! You take care sweetie

Nicki - Hows you hun, don't get chance to post much over the on March thread, I will this afternoon promise... How's work, are you still having a crap time? Oohhh you’re a libra like me.!

Gail - Hi Hun, nice to hear from you, you'll be very close to birth now won't you? How many weeks do you have left? Is everything ready for her delivery, is nursery ready? Oh yes I remember you did only have one embie put back and look at you now, I hope I can follow in your footsteps, I really do.!!!

Kate - Glad you're PMA has returned, I so need to do some exercise, just can't get motivated... Its hard isn't it when everyone around you is pregnant, but this will be your turn... you keep up that positive PMA girl...Take Care Hun

Souris - Hope you’re OK?

Hi to anyone else I've missed - hope I haven't, but I'm rushing cos I'm at work

As for me not much to tell, just had AF which arrived on time, just waiting till March until I can start my drugs... still haven't got all the drug money together but I'm confident I'll get it - really looking forward to this cycle, getting excited now... I just hope and Pray I get some good quality eggs, and enough to freeze would be great, never ever got to that stage so think its very unlikely but I you never know..

Right girls best go..
