Stephanie...I dont know but your betas look fantastic!!!! When is ur u/s? I think miscarriages can happen at any time no matter what the betas are but then again Im really not sure just a guess!

Thanks for the encouragement! I asked the nurse about the Beta numbers on Friday and she said they looked great and that as long as the numbers are increasing the chance of miscarriage decreases... I think the less I know is better... I am just worried! My ultrasound isn't till April 21st!!! I think this is the worst wait out of ALL the "waits"...Waiting to see a heartbeat! We just continue to pray and let God do his work... It is completely out of our hands!

I had a u/s & b/w this morning & my RE said that my follicles look really good. I have another u/s & b/w tomorrow morning & depending on those results we're should be doing the ER on Wed. As my RE was talking to us this morning - I just wouldn't allow myself to get too excited - even though he said I'm looking a lot better on this 2nd cycle. I don't think I'm doing it intentionally, but it's just my normal reaction at this point. I have to admit I am afraid that this cycle will aslo fail & maybe I'm trying to guard myself.. but I'm praying that things works out!

Tameka – giving the trigger shot is no problem at all. Just use ice on the skin and you will not even feel it. I guess I should ask, what kind of trigger shot are you using (Ovidrel??) or something else? Thanks for the prayers! I ask because the Ovidrel is usually prefilled and it is just like giving a SQ injection (like Lupron or Heparin).

Lauren – my test is scheduled for this Friday morning same as Emmax. But, I know I will POAS before that date. I have to prepare myself because I have to work late that day and I can’t be a basket case right before my dinner program that evening.

Not hopeless yet – Oh, I am so very excited for you! Congratulations on your BFP. Remind me again, was this 8dpt3dt, right? Was the HPT really dark or a faint line?

Stephanie – please don’t stress about miscarriages … you have your BFP so enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! But, to answer your question, I was pregnant w/ twins during my first fresh IVF and my first beta was 151 (9dpt5dt). Then I think it ALMOST doubled to 301 (two days later) and I was doing fine so no more betas. The next week, I started spotting on Wed and by Thursday it kept getting heavier and brighter. So I insisted on an early scan at 5 ½ weeks. It showed a vanishing twin (miscarriage) of one of the twins. But, once I stopped bleeding (two weeks later) they kept monitoring me and my betas kept rising as they should have every two days. But, once I started miscarrying one of the twins the beta stopped doubling, it was just shy of doubling. So it started to show a problem w/ the BW when the bleeding started.

I agree your betas look great!

Paty – ER on Wednesday, that is great! Remember, you have to have PMA … I am sure everything will work out for you and you will get your BFP. I test this Friday but I will test early, I just have to know!

AFM – I am waiting patiently to POAS … not … lol! This wait is killing me. I feel like a prisoner this weekend because of the sharp pains/cramping that I had yesterday I spent the entire weekend cooped up in my house while life goes on around me. I got so frustrated w/ my DH today because he keeps leaving to fulfill his commitments and he just doesn’t understand how bored I am sitting here all by myself. His life is going on w/ out any interruptions and mine is on hold! Sometimes I think he just doesn’t get it!

But on another note, this nausea seems to be getting worse. I’m trying not to get too excited about the symptoms because I am on a ton of medications that could be causing it but I am happy the sharp shooting pains and cramping stopped late last night. The uterus protocol that my RE prescribed for me is really helping me so I will not cramp as much like last time!

Angela-so friday! Cant come soon enough. So when will you take the HPT? is it still too soon? My doctor does betas 14 days from ER. I know the 2ww will Seem like eternity to me...im not sure if I will do a HPT but I may break you never know. Im sitting around going crazy Now watching Lifetime movies?? Lol Im not even to ER yet.

Lauren - I know I probably shouldn’t POAS but I am a very impatient person … lol. I cheated during my first fresh IVF at 6pdt5dt and I got a very, very, very faint positive HPT. It was so funny, I had my sister looking at the test and then I showed my DH and my sister and I were convinced it was positive but my DH couldn’t see it. So of course I tested the next day and it didn’t change much. But, the next day came (Monday) and I told my RE that I tested and I was sure it was positive, so they told me to test again and it was clearly positive (8dpt5dt). But, the only difference now is that I only had 1 embryo transferred compared to the first time when we transferred two, so I am sure it might take longer to turn positive.

I just POAS. 6dp5dt. Yes, it is a bit too early to be testing...but, I just got a BFP!!! Yes, you have to look closely and turn the stick just a bit to see it. lol Yes, it is the faintest of pink lines...but, a line is a line. And, it showed up within the first 3 minute time frame. Woohoo!!!! I got the same faint pink line with Zach at 10dp3dt (maybe a hair darker)...so thinking that since I got it 2 days earlier...we may be looking at twins.

I hope everyone gets their BFP! I am praying sooo hard for each and every one of you! Stick Babies Stick!

Tammy - Congratulations! I am so very happy for you! I think you had your transfer a day before me. So hopefully your good luck will rub off on me too. How many did you transfer and on what day, i.e. 3 or 5 day transfer?

We transferred 3. 1 that was already starting to hatch, 1 good one, and 1 just a bit behind the others. It was a FET and a 5 day transfer.

Babyluv...I am thinking twins now. lol

Latrell...I forgot you were a 2 day transfer...so yes, today was too early. Keep the faith. I am praying hard for you tomorrow!

SAS...That is awesome!!! Great beta numbers!

My beta isnt until April 19th! lol So I am calling my high risk OB tomorrow morning...he told me to call as soon as I get pregnant...so I may just have them do the betas and ultrasounds and not go back to my RE whom is a 45 minute drive away...and already told me that I can have the betas and everything done down here anyhow.

The lines were slightly fainter than the test line but the directions say it doesn't matter. And i"m telling you I've NEVER had a faint line or ANY line in the last 5 years so this is one huge step in the right direction.

Not hopeless - Congrats!!! YAY! That's the same day I got my BFP. You and I sound a lot alike...trying for five years, 2 failed IVFs, BFP on the third. Feels good, huh? Can't wait to hear what your betas are!

Helene...you may have missed my post...I poas this morning and it was a BFP. I'm not just going by a feeling. lol

I saw my HR OB a few months ago in preparation for this FET and he wants to see me immediately after BFP. I am very high risk for many reasons.

CONGRATS Tammy!!!!!! So your headed to OB right away. I wish you a healthy pregnancy girl! For both mom and baby or babies?? Ha seems to be alot of twins around here lately!
