klinger13 wrote:Thanks for all the well-wishes for ET this morning! Everything went great! We transferred all 3 embies (a 9 cell - 2B, an 8 cell- 3C (25% fragmentation), and a 6 cell - 2B.) We are just so happy to have made to to this stage and now I'm going to spend the next few days being super lazy. Beta is November 4th.

Amesy - Welcome to the Fall thread! Glad to have you here and we'll definitely keep you company in the 2ww.

Osi - good luck if you end up having the 3dt tomorrow!!! Otherwise, I'll cheer you on in a couple days for your 5dt. :D

Nancy - thanks for thinking of me! I'm so glad your embies are doing well and can't wait to hear how your 5dt goes!
Awesome news and yay for three awesome embryos now safely inside their mommy. Relax and enjoy the easiest, but most stressful part of the trip. Can't wait to see your beta results... seems like forever, doesn't it?

Thank all for the speedy replies!!!

I'm a police officer - but don't hold that against me!!

I was only allowed to transfer one due to being under thirty and am 3dt.

I am on progesterone suppositories only ( after 6 weeks of injections makes a nice change).

Sonya - thanks so much! November 4th does seem lightyears away, but I am just so relieved to have them all tucked in now. Though I'm sure that by tomorrow I'll totally be in crazytown. :) And WOW that test is A LOT darker!!! Woo-hoo!!! I can't wait to hear your first beta!!

Amanda: Congratulations!!! PUPO lady!! :D :D ...rest and let those 3 fabulous embies snuggle in to their fabulous mom. I am going to take Osi's advice and will be testing on 11/4 (the day before I go out of town) so we will be getting out betas on the same day. Welcome to Crazytown....

Nancy: Let us know how the 5dt goes....glad they are looking good!

Annie: How are things with you? Report today?

Amesy: Welcome! And welcome to Crazytown...you are in good company..lol. And I certainly don't hold your occupation against you. I work all day with officers...they won't even let you work light duty?! I too, would go nuts without any distraction. (And I will probably go nuts anyway with distractions! )

Karenthescorpio: Doing the AF Dance for ya, girl!! :D

Karin1: How did it go at the Scary Farm? Were the kids freaked out? Did your injection go alright?

Ester: Hope that you had a fun night out.

Osi: Thanks for advice...yes, I'm gonna go on Thursday (11/4) for my beta...and hopefully leave on Friday with a BIG smile on my face. And good luck with your transfer tomorrow!! How many are you transferring? Glad that you are feeling good and best friends with the toilet with all your fluids!

Sonya: DEFINITELY looking darker. :D I love it. :D Can't wait for your beta. I forgot, how many did you transfer? And I hear ya on the IM shots. Yowee. I am so glad my current clinic uses suppositories as well.

Leorira:Thanks for sharing that site!

Kelly (Bakersbaby): Thanks for the congrats! I can't believe it myself--even though I've been through this several times before. Each time it is so exciting with anticipation. I am going to be NUTS these next 2 weeks...you had some questions....yes, I always get all my meds at once (although sometimes you end up needing additions) so you are right, DH is wrong. I hear you on the muscle shots...they are intimidating...my first clinic I had to use them and I suggest doing it exactly as Ester said...ice your bum, warm the meds, then sit on heating pad afterwards. I was still sore, but that is the best recommendation that I have. And it is for a good cause...keep reminding yourself. I am using crinone this go-round.
Regarding the acupuncture? There is limited information that it may help with fertility and possibly boost success with ART. Lots of women on this site have used it, and probably have a lot better information than I do. Some insurances cover it--mine doesn't. :( But I was willing to try it and so I went for my first session right after this recent IUI. I found it to be wonderful. Whether it helps with the IUI directly or not, I don't know of course, but I definitely felt much more relaxed afterwards and slept better that night than I have in weeks. I was totally scared ahead of time, but you really don't even feel the "needles". They are nothing like the needles you (or DH) give you with IVF!! I'd recommend it personally, just for the relaxation value alone! I felt as if I had a massage when I left. And regarding banning of POAS...that's such an individual thing. Some women stay clear, and others (like me) can't resist...do what helps you...you want to decrease anxiety during 2ww, not increase it. For me, knowledge and information of any kind is best. I'm with Sonya! But really, do what is best for you.

AFM: Started crinone this morning. And decided to move my 1st beta to 11/4 so that I can leave for NY on Friday with the time to absorb the results Thursday night. Hopefully, I will be glowing when I get on the plan 11/5 and head to my reunion! 8)

Amesy - that's awesome and I totally agree that you don't need to be at work right now - way too risky unless they put you on a desk. LOL How exciting for you that you are now officially PUPO. And yay for the progesterone pills (I tell my DH that I am 'feeding the babies'). :) Good luck - post often and get to know everyone!

Amanda - I'm so happy for you that all 3 of your embies are snuggling in! Are you gonna POAS or hold out? I'm feeling like some sort of freak not doing it...

Nancy - Congrats on the 5dt!

Amesy - Welcome! I, too, have been home from work during this cycle (my first) and am losing my mind... Btw, I think being a police officer is really cool! Will you be able to work during your pregnancy? Light duty maybe?? My stupid job doesn't have light duty, so I'm forced to sit at home and DWELL... ... .. .. . . .

Sonya - That line is so dark now!!! You make me wanna POAS! I've come so far though, I don't wanna give in...

afm - I have this yucky full feeling in my belly, bloated... I'm not in pain, but very aware of it and slightly uncomfortable. I'm debating on whether I should call the nurse (of course, I'd be bothering someone on their lovely Sunday) in case it's some crappy late side effect of all the poking and prodding. I've read it could be an early sign of pregnancy. Anyone with any thoughts or similar experience???

Prayers for all!!!

baby - if you don't want to test, don't!!! I just can NOT bear to get bad news in one fell swoop. I like to know any kind of information the moment it comes available. I've had tons of bfns... and they are all easier for me if I have a few days of blank tests leading up to the date that it's undeniable. That way I can soften the blow to myself...start focusing on the next cycle, distract myself... plan a special night out with my DH. And, I don't have to wonder if my symptoms are the meds or a pregnancy. I guess for me.. it's LESS stress... but I know that for a lot of women, it's torture. I also know how fast I get bfps... usually by 9dpo I have a line if there is one to be had. But some women won't show a line until beta day and that's got to suck big time. Why do I test every day... Because I've had way too many chemical pregnancies. When that line fades, I know it's a lost cause. As long as the lines are strong, I know we're doing okay. Cept when it's a blighted ovum and then I am kind of f*cked, cuz' even the betas are right on the money. haha jokes' on me.

I'm rambling. The tummy cramps are all normal. There's nothing to be worried about and even if there were... (and there isn't) there's nothing your nurse could tell you except to wait and see and relax. Some cramping is normal, remember we are all super sensitive to our bodies and if we weren't going through this we most likely wouldn't even notice it.

You're on track... beta is coming soon... you'll soon be sporting a great bfp. :)

Baby_blu - Stay strong girl!!! You're so close to beta date and you need to do what feels right for you!! You asked if I'll POAS and the answer is oh most definitely yes LOL. I have a whole boatload of internet cheapies and a fresh box of FRERs all sitting in my bathroom closet LOL. I'm like Sonya in that if it's going to be negative, I want to know ahead of time to soften the blow. And if by chance I had a negative HPT on beta day but ended up with a positive beta, then that would be a pleasant surprise. However, I don't want to ding my PMA too early on (if it's negative) so I'm going to try to hold off on POAS until 2 or 3 days before the beta...if I can hold out that long. :D

In the UK, they don't do Betas, we have to take a test after 2ww. I would rather betas, after years of late AF and negative tests, it would be nice to have it taken out of my hands. I might go to my doctors and get them to do a blood test.

Okay. Back from church. Let's see if I can catch up here.

DandMe -- that line definitely looks darker to me!!!! You cracked me up with the story of your shot and the nurse chasing you. What a hoot.

Amesy -- a police officer. Super cool. I know that's a stressful job. I'm a court reporter and do a lot of work in criminal court so I hear a lot about all the junk y'all deal with.

Amanda -- I'll say it again and again and again. You're PUPO!!!! Whoo hoooo. So glad for you.

baby_blu -- you're beta is right around the corner though I'm sure it still feels forever away for you. You'll have to remind me of that when I'm in the 2ww. :-)

Osi -- your transfer is tomorrow, Monday, is that right? Oh, so exciting!!!!! How many will you transfer, do you know? My boobs aren't sore but I'm w/ you on the constipation. ugghhh

Moorebaby -- I do similar to you w/ the PIO shot though I don't shower afterwards but I do walk around for a few minutes. My RE suggests that. Says it helps the PIO work its way into the system.

Macfamily -- can't remember if I said congrats! on your great beta. I forget what I've posted and what I haven't. Anyway, CONGRATS!!! That is so great.

AFM -- All is on for 5dt on Tuesday at 9:30 am. Then I go in on 10/28 for b/w and 11/5 for first beta. At least that's what everything says right now.

Up early and waiting for the call to know if it would be a 5dt. I don't know why but I am very worried about my growing babies. Just got a bad feeling.

Nancy - if it a 3dt then it will be two, if 5dt then 1 or 2.
