faith- yes I saw that too- and yes, DH has LOW morphology- 1st sample was only 1% normal, then 0% normal several months later. I think we've been very blessed to have tried our very first round of IUI and been successful. I don't really believe in luck. Thank you for your well wishes- we're never out of the woods though, are we I'm hopeful for you too!!!!
hi all - Just a quick update - went back for second u/s after starting stims. I have 5 follies on the right side greater than 10mm and the left side has 3 greater than 10mm and 3 smaller ones. Some of the larger ones are already around 15-17mm. So now I'm waiting on the clinic to leave me a voicemail with instructions for tonight and the rest of the weekend. I think I'll be back there on Monday with ER early next week.
On the bright side, I get to take it easy this weekend. Plus, I'm hoping ET won't be until after next Friday because I promised I would take my stepdaughter out to have our nails done before prom, and I won't be able to if I am on bed rest. We'll just have to see how it plays out.

I remember before Jack they were just a picture, but this time, I actually thought about what baby they would turn into? Its so weird and different the second time around! AFM-- AF arrived today, so now I start again, but a little differently becasue they want to eval my uterus so I have to do Ganirelix for the next three days then Monday is my baseline and eval and hopefully I will start stimms Monday night

as for me not cancelled I get to keep going I am on day 3 of stims and I have 11 follies 6 on the left and 5 on the right next u/s is monday morning keep meds the same this weekend and so far no change in cyst I did ask and they said if I get cancelled it will turn into IUI but I have faith and if all stays well ER will be May 1st.

Hi everyone. It's been a while since I last sign in. I have been very sore after my ER. I had my ER last April 22 and my RE said they got 17 eggs. After the ER I felt like my lower abdomen is going to drop on the floor..felt so heavy. Then I felt nauseated. the following day , though still sore , i have to report to work. Anyways, I got report yesterday from my RE, he said out 17 eggs, 10 were fertilized. ET day is on April 27 at 9 am.
Carolyn - sweetie, I'm so very sorry about your BFN, I really thought this was going to be your time. Sending you lots of hugs...
trx - pleased to hear that ER is out of the way for you but sorry to hear you suffered afterwards. I hope you are feeling better now and able to focus on your ET on Monday. 10 fertilised eggs is brilliant!

Neffi - good luck with your baseline and eval on Monday, let us know how you get on. In answer to your question, my clinic had me down regulate for AGES, so I'd had my withdrawal bleed about 2 weeks before my baseline in the end. But the cynical part of me says they only kept me down regulating for that long just to fit me round their schedule better, and I had little say in it because my IVF was NHS funded. From what I understand, people normally can/do start pretty soon (like a matter of days) after AF arrives.
statsgoddess - sounds as if things are progessing very well. So trigger is likely to be the start of next week you think?
Michele - hurray, you're PUPO! Your two little embies look BEAUTIFUL! Such a cool thing to see, we don't get anything like that in the UK. Hope you are resting up and taking care of your special on-board passengers (in keeping with your frequent flyer programme theme!!).
AFM, starting to feel a little crazy in the 2ww. Not really feeling anything going on physically, so I think I'm starting to imagine things which aren't there! Oh well, off to another beach now with the dogs so will try and keep my mind off it for the rest of the day...

Hi all, just a quick update. They called me back to the clinic for E2 check and an ultrasound this morning. Tonight is my last night on stims and then we do the hcg shots tomorrow night. ER is now officially scheduled for Tuesday! They think I'll have at least 8 or 9 mature eggs, maybe more by then, so we're being cautiously hopeful at this point. This puts ET next Friday or Sunday. Eeek!
Does anyone know what to do with leftover medicine??? I have about $1200 worth of Follistum that I apparently won't need. They ordered me what they thought was 11 days worth, but I only did 7 days of stims (most at a low dose), so I have a lot left over. It feels like having gold in the refridgerator...
faith - hope your stims are going well! keep me posted on how you are doing. the last three days have been headache-free, although I'm wondering if the headache will come back after I stop the lupron. the headaches seemed to be worse when I started it, then again when they changed the dosage, so I'm wondering if having it out of my system will give me a few days of aches.

Morning! I had my ER yesterday and was knocked on butt all day! That was alot harder than I expected it to be. Plus I'm in danger of OHSS so I'm guzzling tons of fluids and eating a high protein diet. Yesterday I was feeling sooo blah. But I woke up bright and early this morning with minimal cramping
They retrieved 30 eggs yesterday and now my DH and I are anxiously waiting for our fert report. The ET is scheduled for Thursday..so excited and nervous! I noticed that many transfers are scheduled next week. I will be praying for all of us!

after getting a BFN last week.. i felt so miserable, ... i rang my GP, couple of freinds who knew, and my parents.. my thoughts overcrowded my wholebeing that it's nearly impossible for me to do anything even a shower...i kept on crying.. really sank in despair.. i rang work.. and arranged for a 4 weeks holiday.. only to give me 3 weeks..
to cheer me up..(after so much coersion).. DH brought me out for fresh air in the sea front.. i wont get out in the car.. he just open the window and let me hear the sound of the waves as we watch the surfers from a distant... it calms me down.. but not fully...
he brought me out in a lovely cosy restaurant, and had an absolutely wonderful meal, a chat and hearty laugh really change my aura.
after settling, time for us to face the real world.. i'll be back at work on tuesday...so we have to do some shopping.. off we go to northen ireland in asda like wallmart.
on way back home our car slip and glide in a sharp curvy road, our car spun and hit an iron fence in the farm ending up into a ditch, about waist high, i thought i would die that instant, our car is wrecked esp the door side where im sitting, but no im not hurt neither my husband. rescue came over.
im grateful im still alive! this change my prospective in life.. after BFN.. no, we have life to enjoy and husband to cheerish! im glad we have each other. and life is a wonderful gift! so what if it's negative.. good thing about it.. we tried our best.. and we should continue living!

My stims are going O.K .. the shot really hurst ..i feel the fluid doesn't go in and takes me a while to push the plunger all the way up..have headaches every now and then but they are managable ..still taking lupron but in a smaller dose .. now after the stim shot I think lupron doesn't hurt at all ..good luck with the hcg shot .. as far as the left over medicines are concerned , I don't think the pharmacy takes it back cause i also have unused new pack of follistm in my refrigerator left from my IUI cycle ..let me know if you find a way to return it ..
