Afm.....went to Knotts last night and it was fun. We got stuck in traffic on the way there and didn't get to park until 8:00. So I decided to do the shot before I went in. Not fun doing it in front of one of hannah's friends, but whatever. Well...she didn't actually see it, bit she knew I was taking medicine. It's a good thing her mom knows that I'm doing IVF or I might have to explain shooting drugs in the car before going to an amusement park. Last night was also my last bcp....yay! Now I will be waiting for AF.

Great news, my ET is now on Wednesday! 11 our of the 14 are of good quality. Strangely enough that in line with a dream I had last night where I was at the hospital and the embryologist showed me 3 of my embryos, where 3 were no good and looked like soap suds and one that looked strange but ok and the rest she will put salt and pepper on them to help them grow.

Osi; I know it's difficult when the embryos don't all make it, especially with the huge amount they harvested - I had 32 and ended up transferring three and freezing five. I think your dream is kind of funny with the salt and pepper... like.. eggs with salt and pepper? LOL So happy for your ET on Wednesday - and you will have enough frosties for at least one and more likely two FETs'.... fabulous job!

Freckles I'm glad you are feeling so much better. The dangers of early testing are not for everyone - I'm glad it worked in your favour.

Hi Sonya,

Have you POAS again? I did yesterday and it was still a faint + - It didn't look much darker but I figure that is normal.

I'm nervous just like you! My boobs are pretty sore but that could also be from the Estrace and the progesterone but they have been MUCH more sore and a LOT bigger the past 2 days!!!! Really veiny too! LOL!

Sonya & Kaylie: Can't wait to hear your betas tomorrow!! Are your clinics good about calling you early? My last clinic was a nightmare...they didn't call me until the next day. I was going nuts! But I don't go there anymore and that was just one of the reasons.

Nancy: Good luck with your ET tomorrow. I am sure all will go great and you will be PUPO!!

Karin: I can totally imagine you in the car with the kids in the back seat, trying to be discreet. Could you imagine if someone walked up to your car at the wrong moment to ask you a question? I was told to trigger "as soon as possible" after my appt last Thursday, so I rushed out and did it in the car while DH was driving...he commented, "you'd sure make a great junkie!" After IVF, we are definitely pros with the poking.

Tammy: Speaking of stimming...how are you doing lady? Haven't heard from you in a while...hope all is going well. Follies growing?

Baby dust to everyone!!! Lots of wonderful news....I love it! And next week we will be getting, what, 5 of us with betas on 11/4 and 11/5!! Lots of babies for sure!! I am feeling the PMA!!

Ladies,
I am not cancelled. My E2 remains low, but is doubling as it should every 48 hours. Saturday (after 7 days of stims) E2 was 450 and follies were growing. This morning I have lots of follicles on the right and only 2 on the left?! Lead follicle is at 20 mm. RE will phone me this afternoon w/ instructions. We may be stimming another day or so, but will be triggering very soon!! Wish me luck.

Hey ladies just home from the RE I have 7 FOLLIES greater than 10mm a total of 13 so some small ones too!! I am very pleased this is after 4 days of stims! I add the ganirelex tomorrow night and up the menopur to 225...back on wed! Im getting excited and bloated Oh WHATS with the PINEAPPLE??

DandMe and Freckles, good job on making some babies!

Today, I'm struggling with the mid-2ww blues. My mood took a nosedive today. Not for any particular reason, just feeling sad and exhausted from waiting and being in this holding pattern. I feel like what Freckles felt last week. Today is 9dp3dt, so it's early, but my Ptest this morning was negative.

Moorebaby, the timeline after transfer that you posted really helped reassure me. On the other hand, I still wish I were one of those few people that had early positives. I feel the same way as others who have said that having some idea of the beta result beforehand softens the blow. My beta is on Friday and there are two Halloween parties that I'm supposed to attend. Nothing sounds worse to me right now! Then again, if I'm not pregnant, drinking may be in order!

crystal...great news! Don't worry about 1 ovary doing better than the other...my right one does nothing! She just hangs out while the left side works like crazy! My RE didn't seemed concerned about that at all. I know I have had 2 surgeries on my right ovary, but from what I've read, it isn't all that uncommon for one side to respond differently than the other. Good luck!

freckles...I'm so excited to hear your beta and so glad you're still getting a HPT positive! Hope you get some great news to make it official!

Osi....Great news! I love that you had the dream about salt and pepper...if only it were that easy! I always have dreams about IVF and pray the good ones come true! The other night I had a dream about my first beta being 429...I know that's pretty high but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that at least the BFP part is right!

Karin....That is too funny about doing the shots in the car. DH and I did mine in the car Saturday night. We were out to eat with a group of people and had to excuse ourselves to the parking lot. Another couple walked by RIGHT when DH stabbed the needle into my belly. How wonderful!

Lauren...I hope you're able to get some rest soon! All these shots take a lot out of us and you need to take care of yourself!

Nancy....Congrats on a 5dt!!! What exciting news! My clinic doesn't do 5dt at all, but I would be totally excited to know that enough embies were doing well enough that they would push it!

baby_blu...I sure hope the yucky feeling is an early symptom and leading you to a BFP!!!!

Margi...I sure hope you get some wonderufl news before flying off to your reunion. What better way to kick off a celebration thatn knowing that you are preggo????

Amesy...Welcome and I would love if I got stay home through this process! I know it gives you so much time to think, but at least you'll never look back and think "maybe if I had stayed home from workt hat day...." Some days my students totally stress me out and I wonder if I will be wishing I was home once I'm pupo!

Klinger (Amanda)....CONGRATS PUPO LADY!!! So excited for you! And I haven;t said thanks for keeping up with the list in a while...so thanks! You're doing an awesome job and I find it SOOOO helpfuL! I just cna't wait to move down to PUPO!

Kelly...I know someone else already answered, but you're right...the meds normally come all at once! We had an IVF teachign class as well, but we were the only couple there! So it was some one on one private tutoring! I am in Darien, so not actually in the city of Chicago, but only about 25-20 minutes outside the city. We love to go into the city as often as possible, so I'm glad we are nice and close!

Ester...I know all of your questions were from a few days ago, but I thought I would chime in anyways!
1. My doc did NOT tell me to refriderate. Also, the box says to keeo it around room temp.
2. Mine says 14 day supply as well, but after 2 weeks of 20 units I still have some left. I did have to order more needles,
but we are injecting such a small amount that it goes a long way.
3. My side effects took a full week to kick in....but now that they have set in I get them IMMEDIATELY following the
injection. I'm asleep within 20 minutes and the heachaches are killing me all day long!
4. Me RE said that as long as we stay within an hour we should be fine.
5. My AF came about a week later than I would have expected it...ON MY BIRTHDAY! Too funny!
6. I don't know what the "normal" amount is, but I think mine may be different because I am prepping for a FET, not
a fresh??

AFM...I had my suppression check this morning and just waiting for the phone call. If everything shows that I am suppressed then I get to reduce my Lupron to 5 units (wooohoooo!!!! I hope some of the side effects reduce themselves too!) and start estrace. That will have me still on track for a Nov. 11 transfer.

As I said above, I had a dream that I went for my beta and it came back 429. I know that's pretty high for a first beta, but the dream was SO REAL!!!! I'm just praying the BFP part comes true!

This is my progression. I test in the evenings and get a lot more consistant result.

Remember these are LOW levels so early, and they only double every two days or so.. if you compare, compare them two days apart! I am 13dpo now (8dp5dt) and will yes, test again tonight. BETA tomorrow... yay!

I know this is kinda gross - but you can tell from the color of the strips which ones were umm... concentrated and which ones were not.. *GROSS* I know... but if you're gonna poas and stress, you need to know the facts. LOL
