Hello Ladies... 2dpt. Arrggghhh!!! Well, I go back to work tomorrow, finally. I have been so agitated just laying around. I finally Got up today and went out to do some errands. It felt nice, but now I feel tired. My dear mommy, came this morning and helped me with the house a little.. she washed my dishes and cleaned my bathroom and stove. love her dearly. I still feel bloated but not sore. My pants dont fit at all. I was constipated but I had me some prunes yesterday and that sure did the trick. I am just going crazier this time around in this 2ww.. just wondering if it worked or not. So does anyone know how long after a 5dt does implantation take place? I have been feeling little pains in my lower pelvic area.

CA.... Yes, sticky babydust. As for the HPT thing... I contained myself first time and I think I will this time as well. Those little sticks just break my heart. If I do get a BFP on my beta, then I will come home and do an HPT for a keepsake though. Do you plan on POAS?

aspotoftea... Congrats on ER and all those eggs. As for the pain, ER is painful, forget what the Drs tell u, this time and last I was so sore for at least a week and still tender for a few days after with lots of bloating. I had ER on 2/25 and I am barely getting over th pain, but y stomach still feels as if I am 8 mths PG. Just drink lots and lots of water or gatorade if they advise u to. That will help with the ovaries. On the day of my ET, they said my ovaries were somewhat enlarged still so I kept drinking that water, and they must be doing ok now. Good Luck, hope u r ok for tomorrow to do your ET. Wont they just wait and to a 5dt for you with so many eggs?

Molly.... I am going nutz!!! I am trying to keep my mind off of it, but I cant. And it doesnt help when I keep watching A Baby Story.

Rosario... congrats on getting approve for new cycle. Check with your Ins to see about the dates just to avoid any delays for when the time comes. Good Luck hun.

thank you ladies so much for the reassuring words. I can't even begin to tell you all how much this board has meant to me in the whole process, even if I'm usually quiet :D

Well, Lady J, yes, I actually got a call from the RE office a bit ago telling me about how it is going- we have 1 "slowpoke" that is a two cell, we have 8 that are four cell, and we have two that are already five cell!! Because they are doing so well, we are going to do a day 5 transfer, which means I'll be going in on Saturday morning for ET. eeeeee! I'm so excited that they are doing so well.

Also my estradiol level was fine, so I don't seem to be heading toward overstimulation at this time. So I will be in that 2ww on Saturday!

All of you ladies who got your BFP, I'm so happy for you. This was my first IVF cycle, and I have learned so much. The process has been one hell of a ride. To know that so many of you already have your BFP makes me smile.

And to you ladies who have to do another cycle, I hope you keep your spirits up and don't lose hope, there are so many great women on this board pulling for you and sending you so much baby dust.

tabatha: I was told to take my lupron in the morning, but I've heard others say they take it at night. You may just want to confirm with your RE what they would rather you do. I would think it would be more important to do it around the same time each day then what time of the day, but I would confirm to be on the same side.

Molly: Congrats on the twins!!!! How exciting!

aspotoftea: I had troubles after my ER. I got a mild OHSS. I was told not to drink water that it would make it worse. I was told to drink gatorade. Basically increase your sodium intake. I would check with your RE about it, but once I started eating chicken noodle soup and drinking gatorade I started feeling better in like 24 hours.

Hello Ladies. Wow, we r so quiet today. I am, I have been so busy at work today trying to catch up. All I know is that this 2ww is driving me bananas and thew week is dragging. So I am barely on 3dp5dt and nothing yet. Boobs r sore, but that happened last time from POI, I woke up so hungry this morning at 5am, stomach was growling, and the funny thing is that I had at a sandwich before I went to bed cuz I was hungry then. I am still a little constipated, and I just went to the ladies room, and I had alot of CM, I am still bloated but not sore. So, does anyone think that my Embies should have implanted by now? I still get random pelvic pains, but it was more yesterday and Tuesday. Aaaaarrrgg.

aspotoftea.... I am glad that we can make u feel so much better and be supportive to your needs. I feel the same way about the ladies here. I am glad your embies r doing great... so 5dt, that is awesome. Good Luck hun. So how many do u plan on putting back? Well in a few days u will be officially PUPO and going Nutz in the 2ww. It is one hell of a ride.

Everyone is quiet today! I just had to share that I caved and did yet another HPT. In my defense, I need to decide today whether or not I am registering for a conference in Baltimore in April. Call me paranoid (you'd probably be right!) but I don't want to take any risks by flying within the first month for something that unimportant. Anyway, it looks like I won't be going because it was most definitely POSITIVE!! :D :D :D

Lady J: I have been feeling those pains/cramps in my lower abdomen too. I have been hopeing it is a good sign :) My DH asked the doc how long implantation takes and the doc said about 6 days and we had a 5dt also. I can't make up my mind on POAS. I tried one yesterday morning and it came out negative, but I new it would so it didn't bother me. It was still way too early. So if I get a positive then I know I'm prego, but I think I'm going to do my best to wait :) I'm going to try really hard :) PS I'm hooked on that show too. I've been watching that and, "Birth Day." There is also another show, but it rarely comes on anymore it is called Baby Lab and it's about in vitro. They show people going through in vitro and there whole process. I've only seen it on twice and I have it to record on my DVR. It was so nice to watch it. Oh and I watched a show from fetus the delivery or something like that. It showed the process all the way through. If you have DVR search for fertility and thats how those shows popped up for me, but they are very rare :)

aspotoftea: those are awesome results on your embies. You are very lucky. Mine barely made it to 5dt :) I had 2 transfered and 2 frozen. I have egg issue though. Your numbers sound really good and strong. Good luck :)

Wondercat: dang your docs really make you wait 2 weeks to find out. I wonder why mine is only 8 days. Congrats on your BFP. Even though the docs will confirm it soon for yah :)

Wondercat... Congrats on the Positive HPT. Well, as for the trip... defo its up to you and how u feel. I think if I turn out to be PG, my butt is going to be on bedrest till I know the coast is clear. lol, nah but for real, if I were in your shoes, if the trip is not that important or mandatory, then u may want to skip it and enjoy your PG down here on earth. Also, I have heard that the pressure drops when u r that high in the sky and u would want to check with your RE to see if it is such a good idea to fly in your 1st trimester. Good Luck hun.

Hopeful... Your numbers are looking great. Congrats.

Hi CA... Good to hear from you my 2ww buddy :P So if they said 6 days then our embies r not even implanted yet? Bummer. Actually, I went "On-Line" and I checked to see about blastoembies.. and it said that on blasts, they take 1-2 days after tranfer to implant and on 3dt it takes 3-5 days. When I did the 3dt, my RE told me 3-5 days, but I forgot to ask on the 5dt. So hopefulkl our are implanted already and snuggling tight. I am stopping myself from buying any HPTs, I dont have any at home so I havent POAS yet, but I think I will wait... Im too scared to see a BFN. AT least we know the trigger is out of our system already, if u do POAS, maybe try on Saturday or Sunday, at that point u will be 10-11dpo so it might show then. As for the shows, I love those shows... I dont have DVR so I cant look for shows, but I do watch TLC and DHLTH and actually on Tuesday, it is about a Lady that had 2 embies implanted and ended up with 2 sets of identical Twins. So basically each embie split  Yikes!!! How beautiful is that? I will find out exact date, channel and time so you can watch it. I also like the show Deliver Me. Anyway, u have just 5 more days, and I still have a whole week. :( I really hope and pray we get our BFPs so we can watch the shows with excitment and instead of thinking, I wish that could be me.

Hey Everyone,
I have been trying to stay off the boards. I am frustrated with my cycle and driving myself crazy. I have been lurking just not posting. I am very depressed on how my cycle is going. I have one unusable huge follie 27mm on my right ovary and on my left ovary I have 8 < 10. Nothing seems to be working to get the 8 to grow. I go back tomorrow to see if anything has changed. I am currently on day 9 of stims. The good news that my E2 levels are not skyrocketing so I am not being canceled yet.

Lady_J

Thought I would post this for you.

this is what happens in a 3dt :

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT

Chris, i am so sorry for you having to go thru this again with your cycle. I really hope things turn around for you. So I know u have been thru so many failed stimming cycles... have they suggested any more studies or have an idea why your body is not responding well? I was hoping u were giving us better news. Chris I really hope things turn around or they figure out a way to get u your well deserved BFP hun. PLease keep us posted.

As for the Tranfer schedule... thank you. OK, here is where I cam so confused. When the RE showed me the eggs that were being tranferred, they were both Hatched Blasts and the other was just a Blast, and the last was still like a 9 cell. So he tranferred the 2 Hatched Blasts... so does that mean they should have stayed put where he inserted them in and impanted there like on the same day or next. Cuz, I know I had a little spotting when I went to the ladies room like an hr after Tranfer but that could have been from the device in my cervix.. but my first cycle, I dont recall spotting after the tranfer.

Can't u tell I am going nutz!!!

Lady_J - Stop driving yourself crazy. If they were a hatched blast, I would think it would implant in 1 or 2 days. That is just my guess.

I haven't really discussed the situation with the RE yet. The nurse acts like everything is fine. I know there are some people that stim for 12 to 14 days so I am just hoping that this is what is happening with this cycle. Though it is driving me crazy. I figured I would take off this time because this is the highest amount of drugs I have ever been on. With my cycle in August I was on 225U Follistim and 75U menopur and I was triggering after 7 days of stims. Now I have been on stims for 8 days, using 225U follistim and 150U menopure and I don't have any follies growing.

to_have_fun08 -- I know it is frustrating but try to stay as positive as possible. I was stimming for 13 days which is a longer time then most but in the end it has all worked out for me. Just hang in there and know that we are all thinking about you and wishing for your follies to grow! Keep us updated.

lady J: Well hello back at yah 2ww buddy? Thanks so much for the heads up on that show. I haven't done the "fertility" search in a while. It searches for up to 9 days. So I try to remember to search on Mondays :) I just programed that show to record. That sounds so interesting :) Crazy!!! The name of the show is Double Identicle Twins incase anyone else wants to watch it. For me it's on at 4pm and on channel 189. I can't wait to watch it. Although I will already have my results by then. That is the day I have my test. I agree about the BFP's. Some days I have a hard time watching, but I record them all and watch them on the days I can :) Well I wish us both lots of sticky baby dust. :)

to have fun: thanx for the info about implantation. So now I for sure can wait till me test date. I most likely won't get a positive till that date anyway and it's almost here. :) Good luck with your stimming and FYI I stimmed for 12 days. You just need some healthy ones. Have you been eating well? My doc had me on a stim diet. No bananas, yogurt. Breads, pasta, rice, potatoes weren't so well either. It was advised to stay away from them if possible or small amounts. I don't have a wait issue either. I'm about 5'10" and about 160lbs. Which sounds like a lot, but not for my height. I had an egg issue too, mine wasn't the amount of follies. Mine were ugly when they came out. I was the factor of the young one with bad egg quality. That was a huge shocker. I don't know really how much the diet helps, but the doc really belives in it here and i stuck by it. He said the insulin levels in our body are effected by the food we eat and if our insulin levels are off then our body responds differently to the meds. I think that is how he explained it. Thats how I understood it anyway. Some people don't believe in it. I wasn't sure either, but I figured what is there to lose :) I know it sucks not eating some french fries, but with a baby in my arms in 9 months then I can have all the fries i want :)
