Hi Ladies,

I have been MIA from posting over the last week since my HCG trigger did not work and I have been dealing with ALOT.

An update, I got a call from my dr after checking the hcg vile and she told me that I had taken a shot of AIR instead of HCG...it got confusing because they had me mix the mixture of 2ml and then only take 1ml and it looks as though the needle never pulled up any of the fluid

So anyways...they had me stay on Lupron for the next couple of days and when I went in for an us they said my ovaries were the size of grapefruits instead of a walnut!!!! So they had me take 4 shots of ganorelix and when I went in yesterday, they said my ovaries are still large (they still have the 30 eggs in them from the stims!!) but my bloodwork looked great!

They are waiting for my af and then I go back on bp for 2 weeks and then start this process all over again! so hopefully I will be cycling agian late Oct/early Nov! I am following all of your stories and I hope the best for everyone.

xoxo

[img]All is well, We saw a sac, I guess I can't put up pics here but so far so good, and the spotting has stopped. The RE might take me off the suppositories b/c it might be slightly scratching me, causing the spotting. We will see what the blood work says later. Not sure if I should exhale yet.

Speaking of which..... has anyone be super sensitive to finding themselves sucking in their stomachs after a BFP and then haveing to purposly relax? I find myself doing it all the time, washing dishes, folding laundry or just standing in line at the pharmacy. Am I just overly sensitive to it now? Have I always sucked in my stomach? Just wondering, .....I even catch myself doing it while sitting on the couch watching tv..... anyone?[/img]

WOW malya324 that is great news! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Sac is good...you should exhale for now I think! I definately find myself holding my breath when I think about this process sometimes...like it's just too much to handle...sucking in the tummy though...I don't think so...although it may be good for your ab muscles, you'll have a 6 pack in no time!

claud662 unbelievable, what a huge pain in the butt! Glad to hear you are starting right away after AF though...better luck next time...I'm sure they have it all worked out now!

katie99 My instructions say not to take the supp the morning of the ET so maybe you should check on that...yours may be different...I've been having to pee ALOT too...figured that's a side effect too...this is the first drug that has actually given me side effects so I can't complain much.

Claud - I am suprised that you had to mix it yourself. At my clinic we have to bring in the medication and they mix it for you a day before and then give you the amount you need to inject. I guess they had similar situations and that's why they changed the procedure.

GL for the next cycle

Hi ladies. Back from transfer. We got good and not so good news. They did a two day transfer...usually they expect to see 2-4 cells....mine was six so that is great. However it was a C grade for frag and average for symmetry. Not sure what to make of it. They said they have seen BFPs come from lower grades with less cells so you never know. I am not expecting much but we gave it the best shot we had this cycle. Off to rest, but I will catch up later....

Oh Katie, my instructions were to not do progesterone the morning of the transfer.

When you guys say progesterone suppositories, do you mean crinone gel, ro is it something different? I am doing crinone gel vaginally twice a day and I was told to do it the morning before transfer, but maybe because my transfer was at 2:30. He seemed to think about what time my transfer was scheduled for before he told me whether or not to do the crinone that day. I wonder if I had an AM transfer if he would have said to skip it.

Miyaya - I believe in miracles and as long as you have faith there is a chance. Your embie(s) is @ 'home' now and that is the best place for it. You are PUPO!!!! Just keep the PMA!

Malya - Good news! So glad to hear that things are looking good!

Kiwi - Girl, you are preggo!!!!

I should really post the list again since it was 6 pages ago, but I think I'm going to wait and show off Kiwi's BFP tomorrow before I re-post it!

For all you ladies who take the PIO injections with the 22gauge needles, have you asked the pharmacy you get your meds from to send you the 25 gauge? I wish I had thought to post this sooner, but it just dawned on me because I got a new vial today. They send me the 22ga to draw up the medicine, but they also send me the 25 ga to switch it to for the injection. Just a thought. I ice me bootie for 10-15 minutes before the shot and I don't even feel it! :D It's sore the day after, but I can deal with that!

Wow... so much to read just from overnight!!!!
I cant remember yet who posted what ( give me time) so here is a reply to u all.
With regards to drawing up the HCG. Next time draw up all the liquid and then hold the syringe upright ( needle pointing up) and give a quick single shake vertically ( make sense?) this will get any air to the top, or flick the side of the syringe with your nail a few times. then expel the air and the extra 1 ml(cc) so all you have left is what you need to inject... bingo! or take it to your pharmacy and ask them to do it :D

As for the spotting.... I got pregnant many moons ago as a 16 yr old... I thought I was getting AF every month and it turned out it was spotting...I thought I was 8 weeks when in fact I was 22.... double shock I can tell you.
Turns out my mother had spotting all through her pregnancy with me...... dont lose hope... all will be ok

How rude of me not to say a big thanks for the warm welcome.

Good luck to every one on their upcomings.

My beta is on the 7th... a week to go, was meant to be on the 8th but as I was working a 12 hour shift my nurse said I could come a day early :D

I am trying really hard not POAS... I dive out of bed & run for the loo then tell myself I cant test for rest of day cos the concentration will be too low.... Am I nuts? I think I am even trying to talk myself into nausea!!!

Hopefully I will get the hang of this soon and be able to do personals

hey everyone. i'm just so happy for all those who have either had + betas, or + htps! i would be SO grateful to be you on tuesday. i don't think i have the heart to test before that...but i might saturday? we'll see. i had my 7dpt bloodwork done today.. and i know they don't mean much, other than p4 being high enough to support pgncy.. i'll post em anyway. e2 = 141 and p4 = 30. so 'i'm not a total loss yet. i'm just so worried that our "late fertilizers" were not strong enough? geez, where's i'm optimism?

my beta is 10/5

shelby- congrats again. you've been so supportive of me and i appreciate it.

good luck girls still looking forward to ER and ET.

good luck for those still waiting in the awful 2ww.

i have really been uplifted by this fabulous site, even though i don't always do personals.
