Crissy-thank you for sharing. I absolutely love the "mama bear" reference.

Bliss-good for you! Don't worry about your RE. He will be just fine. Your protecting your babies, so dont worry. Go be mama bear whenever you need to be. I hope you have a restful evening and I am so glad you were able to get your meds.

Wishing-I can only imagine how difficult this time is for you. Know that we are all here for you. Everyone has been such a great source of support for me that I can only hope to return the same.

How is everyone doing tonight? Hoping all is well.

AFM-I am feeling better. I made it through the day with no cramping or pain. Only minimal lower abdominal discomfort.

Hi Wehavehope- I am glad that you are feeling better! I think you may have passed your cramping on to me though. :D :D :D I am having light cramps in my lower abdomen. I think it may be digestive, however. The progesterone and lack of exercise really messes with my tummy. But it is troubling me a bit, even though everything I read says some cramping is normal. I just can't wait until my u/s!!! Other than that, I am having a great night. Definitely had some increased symptoms today which makes me happy.

So...its way too early right now...but are you planning to POAS?

Bliss-my RE reassured me that some cramping is normal. I too have read this. I have also read about cramping during implantation. Then there is the side effects of the progesterone which also causes cramping. I think mine was also digestive. I have felt better since that day. I can tell you though that honestly I was quite scared. The IVF rollercoaster is an interesting one. About POAS, I am trying so hard to not even think about it. I am sure though that I will break down. Very little will power. With our last try, I must have gone through six tests and all BFN. Since my first Bets is only 9 days after the transfer I am hoping I can be good and wait. No sence in stressing myself. Not counting today, I have 6 more days to go. As a matter of fast, if I don't count Friday, since the test is early in the morning, then. Only have 5 more day. That kind of how I rationalize it. It is interesting, i actual asede My RE about thos because I thought that having The Beta on June 3rd was wat to early. He told me to remember that my little one was already 5 days when we transfered so it will be 14 days once we do the Beta. What about you? Are you planning on POAS???

Wehavehope- no more POAS for me. Even if something were wrong with my pregnancy I would still get a BFP at this point because my level late last week was pretty high at 719 so I am just going to have to wait. My first ultrasound is on the same day as your beta. Hopefully we will both have great news.

Bliss-hope your feeling better from the cramping. I am still experiencing a bit on discomfort. I am really starting to think it is more gastrointestinal than anything else.

EOE-I hope all is well.

AFM-I haven't really been following my doctors orders. No intercourse for a week. Really??? Could not keep that one. I figure woman get pregnant all the tine and don't stop spending quality time with their DH's. Take it easy, very hard for me. I am always on the go. Don't know how to stay still. I have been quite busy this weekend. I have had a great time with my family. Went to the movies tonight. Saw the movie Thor in 3D. A must see is you like science fiction and action movies. On the way home my 14 year old and my 12 year old were actin like 5 year old. They were bugging each other, laughing for no reason, and doing real silly things. As much of a headache they both game my DH and I, we would not change it for anything else. It was great to see them just getting along like siblings. It was great. Tomorrow off to shopping. Already went to the mall yesterday but only bought for my DH and the kids. We are going on our family vacation in 2 1/2 weeks and I have not a thing. So, tomorrow it's my turn. I actualy feel really good. Taking it a day at a time.

Becca-I am so glad you are doing well. I know what you mean about Friday. I can't beleive we have our Betas the same day. I hope we both have great news. I have been quite busy so the days seem to have gone by a little quicker but still not fast enough. As far as symptoms go, I really haven't had much. I though I felt a little on the nauseous side the other day but I am convinces it was either my mind or my husbands driving. The only real stmptom I have felt has been the lower abdominal discomfort. I have felt like my abdominal muscles are tight. Kind of like after a good work out. Also have felt slight abdominal discomfort. I think it is gastrointestinal. I sm still quite constipated. Oh, I don't know, it is really hard to explain. I don't know if any of it is good or bad. Just trying to remain positive and busy so the days don't drag on. Bought three new books yesterday after the movies. I was up all night reading. I have been having a bit if insomnia lately. The last two nights I have woken up between 1:30am and 3am and have been unable to get back to sleep for over an hour to two hours. Also lots of hormonal changes. I kind of feel like what menopausal women report. I have felt very warm at night to the point of sweating and then it goes away. I am just really trying to enjoy my social day today and trying not to give all of this too much thought. Today DH and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary!!!

Sending everyone lots of baby dust and PMA.

I broke down this morning and POAS. It was negative :( . Not even a faded blue line. I don't know what to make of it. My Beta is on Friday. I really hope it is just too early. I do remember that with my son, I knew I was pregnant because of a positive Beta and symptoms but it took weeks before the urine pregnancy test was positive. I pray that this is the case.

Crissy-thank you. I have been tempted to take another home pregnancy test but I can't even imagine seeing another negative test. I think I am just going to wait until Friday. 50/50 chance my RE said. These are the odds with one blast transferred he said. I am praying that the odds are on our side. I have been trying to prepare myself for the call in Friday. I have been trying to figure out what I am going to do with the rest of my Fay if it is negative. How I am going to continue my work day. I have been wondering, if the nurse calls you is that a good sign or a bad sign. What if my RE is the one that calls me, is that a good sign or a bad sign. I have been wondering, does the nurse give the good news and the RE gets to deliver the bad news. Truth is I have no idea, but my mind keeps running away from me. It is scary how ones mind has a mind of it's own.

Ahhh We, I wish I could give you a big hug right now. Chin up my dear. It really is too early to POAS, so don't give it a second thought, although I know that is easier said than done. I have been fighting the urge myself today. Fridayeems soooo far away. I wish I had an answer for you about the call coming from the nurse or the RE. Probably different for everyone.

We are both PUPO, and that is how we should spend the next 3 days. :)

I need voices of reassurance please.

Sorry if TMI but we are all ladies here, right. 3 hours ago I dosed with my Crinone suppository. A little bit ago I used the restroom and noticed a huge clump of the progesterone on my panty liner (there is usually a little seepage but never this much). And it was pinkish. Not red or AF looking. Pinkish. I washed up and returned to my desk at work, but it was weighing on my mind. So I just returned to the restroom and (wrapping it in toilet paper) put my finger inside myself a bit to see if I would have any red. It was clean. No pink or red. Clean

I don't really know what to think. Should I redose when I get home? Why was it pinkish? I'm scared.

Beta is this Friday.

Becca- I had something similar happen to me, but it was only like 5 minutes after dosing with crinone and not 3 hours. After three hours, I would guess you have already absorbed what your body needs. When it happened to me I called my RE and they basically said to go ahead and do a small portion of progesterone but not the whole thing (since I thought only a small portion was what leaked out.) They also seemed very unconcerned, and the nurse was sort of like "if you get a little too much its not a big deal, we put a lot of women on higher doses than what you are on". Of course this was right before my transfer, not after so I am not sure it makes a difference. I would call your clinic. I know its late, but it could make a difference and you don't want to NOT call. If you can't call them, its up to you.

As far as the pink color...that could be a VERY good sign. Hmmmm, implantation bleeding??? :-)

Wehavehope- I read your post today at work and it was killing me that I didn't have time to respond. My heart is aching for you hon. We can hear the fear and pain in your post and we all know exactly what you are feeling. As far as who calls you and when... I heard that some clinics have the nurse call for negatives and the REs call for positives. Because I heard this rumor, I called my clinic and asked them to not follow that policy and to call me as soon as possible with the results. I also give them permission to leave the results on the voicemail and always tell them I am in meetings all day (which is typically true). That way I can get the news when I am in a place and state of mind that works for me and I don't have to be embarrassed by crying to a nurse. I have had to go back to work through bad news and good news...and let me tell you, neither one is easy! Praying that when Friday comes you have to figure out how to focus on work when all you can think about is the fact you are preggo. Stay strong!
