Rio- I called my doc to see if he can give me something to jumpstart this AF and have not received any instructions yet. I hope he did not call my hse line and leave a messae coz sometimes they do that. am ready for it so bad.

Quick update....

My beta today at 17 dpo was 780! This is a 50.4 hr doubling time. The nurse said it was perfect. My u/s is 2/22. I will be 6w4d at that time.
My P4 was > 80 and E2 was 803. I will start weaning off Estrace this week but continue PIO until the end of week 10.

Omg!!! So freakin happy for you!!! Did you do assisted hatching? If yes, i heard that it increases embryo splitting....twins!!! I'm sending you a huge congratulations hug...yay!!!

Awesome 2nd beta!!! Now I can't wait for your U/S to find out if the embryo has split!! I'm soo glad that you decided to follow your gut and went for IVF in this cycle instead of converting it to IUI..

Lou... that's a great number! I can't believe you are making us wait until the 22nd for an u/s though. Doesn't your doctor know how obsessed we are about this? How un-thoughtful of them!

LOU - What an amazing and wonderful beta! You must be so happy and so relieved! Do you get another beta or is this it? US at 6w4d is great - you might be able to see a HB! Congratulations again! SD - wow taking it to 5 days if you have 3. You are a brave woman! I would transfer 3 on day 3 if I had 3 and not push it to day 5. I sitll think (of course you are a doctor and I am not) that some embryos might be better off inside... grow embies grow!

Sorry I haven't been on. This past weekend was very busy. I had a girls night and super bowl party over the weekend. I did have my WTF appointment. He basically said we should give it another try as out of my 6 eggs all 6 were mature. He said they use birth control to get more mature eggs and he's amazed at how many mature eggs I get without being on birth control. He wants to be more aggressive with me this cycle so we have more embryos to choose from. He hasn't been very aggressive with me because I'm so tiny but clearly at this time it's all he can do. He does have another protocol he can try if this doesn't work but he's pretty sure this will work. He strongly believes that I should do a 2 day transfer. They did an independant study and found that they had more woman get pregnant on day 2 than day 3 transfers. They have a high day 2 pregnancy success stories, better than any other clinic. This past time the 2 embryos they put in were grade B's which he said are still good. He said he's had a woman get pregnant with the worste looking embryos ever. He said when it comes right down to it sometimes it's just luck. He feels neither of us is to blame. I dont' know what to think. I know they do do day 5 transfers because I was the only girl that day in the clinic that was coming back for a day 3 transfer but I also got the least amount of eggs. So I really don't think the lab is the issue but heck who knows. So I think I will try it one more time with them and if it doesn't work call it quits. I'll probably be starting Lupron around March 23 if my next AF comes on time.

margi- You must be getting excited. It's going by so fast you'll be in Calif and PUPO before you know it.

Leora- So sorry that case work was so negative. Don't give up yet.

Ester -- I love when you crash. Yes! We did do assisted hatching. But I think my doubling time would be less than 48 hrs if it split.

Sunshine -- Oh gosh.... I think that all the time. I'm soooo glad I did the IVF too. I almost didn't! Now I think if there's 3 promising follies, it's best to go for the IVF.

CJ -- I know! I wish i had an appt between now and my u/s too. Now how are we gonna get through this?

Rio -- No more betas for me. My clinic only does more than two if they don't double normally. I do want a butterfly ticker! I'll have to check them out when I'm not at work.

Kat -- If your clinic has high success rates with 2dt, then why not? All babies start out as 2 day embies. How many will you transfer?

SD - I wasn't trying to stress you, sorry if I did. I was also older than you, at 36 I transfered 4 , 3 day embryos and had our son. #2 I was 39 and transfered 3 - 3 days embryos and it was ectopic, this time 4 - 3 day embryos with AH and we have one baby (vanishing twin). Yes I understand that there is a risk of multiples, because we are all out of pocket the scare of a BFN was scarier to us so we were a bit more aggressive. I just think some of those 3d can be little babies and not make it to blast... Again, I was older than you. I am sure this will bring your BFP no matter what you decide!

AFM: My problem I was having is now gone I did however POAS & now I am just confused. The one I did last night showed a faint line and the one I did tonight was negative. The one that was + I did at work and I wasn't sure if it was right because it took so long to show up, so I had my co-worker pee on one and I peed on another one. Then I compared them after about 10 mins and I had a faint line she did not. We used the hospital tests Anyways, tonight on a equate test it was negative. SO I have officially put myself in crazy town. I mean who makes their co-worker take a test so she can compare? LOL

hi guys - i only have a quick second so i'll do personals later on - had my last SnS today and will be triggering on tuesday night for ER on thursday morning. So it will be 13 days from start of stims to ER. seems like a long time! i didnt ask for the follicle numbers - the doc keeps saying it's looking about the same as last time. last time they retrieved 13 out of which 11 were mature and 8 fertilized. or something like that - i have terrible memory. but we did end up with 8 3 day embryos last time. so hopefully this time we'll be something in the ballpark.

Amanda - don't drive yourself to crazytown with those sticks. how many days past transfer are you? always try with first morning pee. later on in the day the pee isn't as concentrated and its harder to get the two lines if it is positive.
