Hello all!!

Carolyn, so how many eggies did you transfer? I can't wait. I would love for someone else to join the twin club with me since Beach is getting ready to bail out.

Well, today I woke up at 430 to go to the bathroom yet again and I had some blood again. The last time was 12.5 weeks. The bright red blood lasted 20 minutes then it turned dark red and then brown within an hour. I called the doc and they had me come in this afternoon and nothing was wrong both babied moving around and heartbeats strong and cervix 3.86 and closed. The tech, however did notice something. She noticed a pee pee on Baby A and a hoo hoo on baby B. So we are having a boy and a girl. We will also have that confirmed on Fri at the high risk doc when they do the anatomy scan. But we are very excited. The doc said the bleeding is normal and should subside within the week.

Hope everyone else is doing great. Talk to you soon.

Hi Ladies,

Steph, sorry about the spotting again, wow those babies are giving you a hard time. Glad all is fine with the scans though, good luck on friday, will you get confirmation of boy/girl? take it easy and rest as much as you can.

Carolyn,we could be getting results the same day, good omen. Keep the faith.

Rachel, nice to hear from you, glad ruby is doing well.

Shantala, glad all is well with you and ellianna, doesn't time fly.

As for me just home from 24 hours in the hospital, had protein in urine and blood pressure up, so had 24 hour monitoring. All only mild and am on BP checks every 2 days. got to go dinner ready.
catch you soon

Yeah as part of the scan tomorrow they will confirm what the other doc told us so we are not going to say anything to them and see if they pick the same thing. Fingers crossed, they better have been right the first time. :)

Hi Ladies,

Steph, how did the scan go? did you get boy/girl confirmed? Hope your still feeling ok.

How's everyone else, been a bit quiet on here this week.

As for me, all going well, apart from both my midwife and consultant on holiday this week, i am having checks Tuesday and Thursday, and am booked in for induction on 7th July if nothing happens this week. So any ideas on how to start labour will be appreciated.

catch you all later

Jayne - wow so if nothing happens by the 7th then you are being induced?

I know the usual things, raspberry tea, hot spicey food and sometimes sex can all help labour - bring it on girl.............

I'm off work now, Friday was my last day ............yeeppppeeeee sad and excited.......will miss my work colleagues but certainly not the work or all the walking!! Not sure if it will hit home next week, but think it will the week after when the novelty of not getting up has worn off.

Went shopping today - good olde mamas and papas have a sale on so brought sheets/blankets and a little bouncer. Got the paint for the nursery and booked the delivery date for the furniture......finally getting there!!!

Steph - did you get everything confirmed with the scan yesterday? how was the scan - all ok ??

Carolyn - hows the 2ww going - I need to pop over to the other post to see when your testing......can't be long.

Becks - how are you hun - thanks for keeping an eye on us....

Lara - 10wks already - time flies eh!! You must post some more piccies of ruby. hope all is ok.

thats it from me ............. feeling absolutely shattered today....

night all

Hello all! Everything went great with the scan. Both babies looked great and measured all within normal ranges. In fact, they both measured at 5 oz and the normal for this week is just over 3 oz. So they are big babies and I am glad for that in case they decide to come early. I just hope they continue staying big and healthy. My cervix looked great. So I have attached pics for everyone. My next scan is on August 1 and they will also do the fetal echocardiogram to look at the hearts that day. Work is getting harder being on my feet as a nurse, so I bought a back support yesterday. It seems to work great. Although I only worked like 5 hours today because they were overstaffed.

Wow Nimble, it is hard to believe you are already there. I am so happy for you and for beach as well. I can't wait to get to that point but I want to enjoy all the new stuff that is happening now as well. So I won't wish it away. How is everyone else?

This first one is Emily letting us know she is a girl:

This is Ryan showing us he is a boy:

This last one is probably the last time they will be seen together until they are born. Maybe one more pic at 21 weeks but I doubt it.

Hi Steph - wow what excellent picture and so clear - love the names you have picked :D

Will ypou be able to reduce shift lengths or anything to help as you progress further through pregnancy?

Sending you, DH, Emily and Ryan big hugs((()))

I don't know about reducing shift lengths or if they can move me to something that is sit down. I will wait and see how much longer I can last and I will also send an email to my manager to see what my options are, that if it starts to get to be too much are they going to be assess and only let me go out of work. So we will see that back support helped a lot but I will know how well it helped more tomorrow when I work a full shift.

Thanks for the compliment on the names. It is always difficult to figure out the perfect name but now it is perfect now that I can talk to them and know which one I am talking to. :)

Hi Ladies, thanks for all the well wishes.

Steph, what great scan pics, we never got one of them together after 12 weeks as they were too big. I also have measured bigger for dates all along, if we go by scan measurements i am 38 weeks now, and as we know i can only be 37 weeks!! Take it easy at work and ask soon about any chances of change, as my job is on my feet a lot and thats why my legs have swelled so bad, would not want you going through that. As my DH likes to say i got to 30 weeks and crapped out, Ha Ha.

Nimble, congratulations on finishing work, i know it seems an anti climax, but you soon get used to being home all day, it's quite nice really, would be even better if i could get out. Nice to hear your shopping like mad, we have everything up and ready to go, just need the babies.

Carolyn, thanks for the well wishes, same day as your testing, must be a good omen, glad your keeping the spirits up. Don't think the spicy food will work as have been eating it all the Going to try the sex if we can work out how he can get near me,(sorry if TMI).

Sorry to anyone i've missed, bit useless these days. I can't wait now, so excited to find out what we have in there, got a few things on first half of week, so will be trying from Wednesday onwards.anyway i've rabbled on long enough, will catch you all later.
