Oh my goodness! I just got the call. My E2 level is a 706 already!!! (It was only 112 or something like that on day 3 of stims last month). My meds stay the same...and she said no worries...that going too fast and having immature eggs would mean that I trigger on Thursday or sooner...and she says that I wont. I go back on Thursday for a SnS and that yes...she expects that I will be having retrieval sometime this weekend..Sunday or Monday. This is happening sooo quickly! At this rate...I will be poas and getting my BFP on the morning of Zach's 2nd birthday, the 18th!!!

tammy that is GREAT news!! wow!! menopur helps mature the eggs so i think its great that they have you on that as well....i am going to be on a huge dose this time...300 follistim and 300 (yes thats 4 vials) of menopur a day! pump me up...i dont care!! haha! each cycle i have stimmed for different times so i dont know whats normal for me (not much really is normal with me is there?) i'm so excited for you though!! a nice relaxing LABOR day weekend!!!

wondercat no wonder you have cat in your screen name!! haha they are soooo cute! i love cats but they make me sneeze...they always seem to like me too cause they love to jump up on my lap whenever i'm around them. its like they know i cant pet them and they torture me! the pic of me and DH is at the atlanta aquarium. we went there in june...its awesome there....we were trying to wait for the sharks to swim by but i got impatient and wanted to turn around! i love that you had to let everyone know that it wasnt your couch! haha i love pink, but not in furniture! i wish i could help you with the sig thing..i'm amazed i even got the ones i did posted...forget trying to add it to my sig! where on the cap are you??

Here is Zach's little Ki Ki. He is 3.5 months old now. He loves him sooo much. It is awesome to watch them play together and chase Zach's soccer ball around, too. lol


And, my beloved Doogie. This picture was taken when he was really sick and only a couple of days before he passed away at 16 yrs old.

Franny - I finally get to see your beautiful face!

Ryann - I know it's hard to accept right now, but your doc is doing the right thing and you'll have SUCH A GOOD CHANCE with your FET. You'll have so many embies frozen that you'll have storage for several babies. Because of PCOS and OHSS, it'll be so much easier for you to do FET and get a BFP. I know you must be bummed, but I'm actually really excited for you. It's gonna work out in the end. I have a really good feeling about it. Seriously.

Wondercat - I'm a cat lady too. My husband wont let me pass by kitten adoptions anymore. We have two and he keeps telling me that I want a baby and not a cat, so I should stop obsessing.

I tried to post pics of my fur babies, but the pics are too big.

wondercat...I'm not sure why your pic isn't posting. I copied and pasted your image code into my sig line and hit preview and saw the pic...I thought I could figure out what was missing or needed changing, but it seemed to work fine??? I just don't know! Maybe just erase it and re-copy it there. I love the pictures of your cats! I love cats, but my allergies don't at all! I can't even be around cat people for too long or my eyes swell shut!

Franny...LOVE your pictures! I totally knew that was the Atlanta Aquarium before you said it! DH and I were there in August and I that was the same fish I took pictures of!

Tammy...My level today is 1,014. Sounds like you are moving along REALLY nicely! I am thinking we have ER together! I go back Thursday and I am half expecting them to tell me to trigger. I am still doing 75 of Follistim tonight and tomorrow. I love the picture of Zach and his kitty!

Lauren...Thanks. I am bummed, but I also know that what is meant to be will be (or at least I'm trying to convince myself of this!!!). I guess I'm still holding out a little bit of hope that I will be fine and they will do the transfer. If not, FET it is and I will do it with a smile on my face! I have a good feeling about BOTH of us!

AFM...E2 was 1,014 today. RE said that's what she expected and she is happy that it didn't double. She cancelled my appt for tomorrow and told me to come thursday (good news, perhaps???). Still doing 75 of Follistim and my Ganirelix for the next 2 nights. Maybe she will have me trigger Thursday?! I'm holding out a little bit of hope that I will still make it ET...you just never know! My RE quoted a line from Evan Almight when she found my tumors...she said "If you pray tp God for patience do you think he just gives you patience? Or does he put you in situations to LEARN patience?" I keep referring back to that because I was NEVER a patient person, and I guess I am really learning how to be!

Tammy - when I did menopur and follistim I cycled for 8 days on second cycle and 9 days on first so it could be fast! I am very excited about your follies! So cool to get a BFP on Zack's b-day! His pictures with Kitty are adorable! How is the stinging with menopur?

On photobucket click on share next to the facebook icons and it will open a new window, click on get link code from tab in the middle, go to image for bulletin boards full size, copy the img link and post it on your signature, now wait! make sure that under your signature box while you are editing that all the boxes are UNCHECKED:

Disable BBCode
Disable smilies
Do not automatically parse URLs

Now when you post, only leave checked the boxes that say "attach signature" and "notify me" uncheck the first 3 boxes under the box for text of your post. that should do it, let me know if it works!

annas hope - post pics of your pups too! I am sorry that betas dropping can be so slow, mine dropped from 600 to 65 but then 15 and then 8 and it took 6 weeks but seemed like forever, this is really hard, I am sorry!

klinger - I feel sorry for Dhs doing their business in the bathroom but then again - look at what we go through we would never have kids if DHs had to go through what we do!!!

I am on BCP and I thought my AF was going to leave sooner but no such luck yuck! I got great results on my tests! My FSH came back at 6.7, Estradiol at 27 and normal TSH and Prolatin!!!!
so I go for HSG and saline US next week and I got my tentative dates, start meds on Sept 16th,retrieval approx Sept 26th!!!

Hi everyone I am transitioning over from the Summer cycle group (like so many of you). I started my stims this last Saturday and my bloodwork from yesterday came back with E2 at 111. I have my first SnS tomorrow to see how many follies I have going on and more blood work. I'm scheduled for my ER to be around 9/6 and my ET either 9/9 or 9/11 depending on how they are doing.

I will have to read back to catch up on those I dont know in order to do personals but I just wanted to introduce myself on this board. Best wishes to everyone!

Ryann...love that quote. It is great news that your E2 did not double and that you dont have to go back till Thursday! Excellent news! You just may get your wish after all. I would be surprised if you trigger Thursday night if your follies are only 10-12mm right now. I am guessing more like Friday or Saturday night...like me. But who really knows...this whole process is day by day...that is for sure. lol

Lauren319...did you shrink your pics first on photobucket?

Franny...did you ever have problems getting all of the menopur out of the bottles? It looked like we got it all (bottles bone dry)...but couldnt have...because we started with 1 ml and ended up with .75 ml...after mixing!? This happened both Saturday and Sunday night...and no problems on Monday night. I guess it didnt matter since I apparantly got enough of the meds to be ahead of schedule at this point. lol

Rio...that is awesome news!!! Yayyy for terrific results!!! It seems like it has been forever for you to get started! This has been the longest 3 months ever!!! I am sooo psyched for you!!! Our kids are only going to be really close in ages again...since I have to deliver early. I think of you and your warning of the stinging every time I inject myself. lol It hurts...but I keep telling myself that it will all be worth it in the end. lol

the exact same thing was happening with me and menopur...we used 1 ml but after 4th vial only had .75 in the syringe so I would add a little saline again and roll the syringe in my hands to mix but RE said it was ok and didn't matter because obviously we were getting enough meds and E@ was rising..

hope this helps.
Also the menopur does sting but injecting it slower really helps.

AFM we are excited for Thursdays appt. As long as things go well we will be cycling in October (probably FET). I was wondering if anyone can tell me if you have to take antibiotics and steroids with an FET or is it only Estrogen and PIO?

I sing in a professional symphonic choir and tonight is our first rehearsal of the season so excited!!!!

Anna...Yes...you have to take antibiotics and steroids with FET. FET is sooo much easier though...you'll like it much better. Good Luck at your appt Thursday!

Thanks for making me feel less crazy about the meds. lol I also googled and read that it has happened to others...yet my nurse thought I was seriously doing something wrong...till they saw that everything looked great today. lol

I noticed that the slower I push it in the better...thanks for verifying yet again...that it wasnt all in my head. lol

rio - that's a great point about comparing the bathroom stall sample with what we go through! I think DH would rather give a million bathroom stall samples than go through what we do.

Wow, this board is really hopping. I need to work on catching up! I had my consultation today and we went over everything, signed consent forms and DH and I both had blood drawn. I also had my trial transfer. Everything went fine except I almost passed out when I had my blood drawn, I felt awful! I don't usually have a problem, in fact, only had that problem when pregnant. Anyway, I felt fine after I laid down for a minute. Dh found out that on ER day he gets to collect his sample at home. I swear he gets all the breaks. That's about it for me. I have all of my meds and I'm just waiting for AF so I can start BCP....actually I'm a spotter so he wants me to start as soon as I start spotting instead of waiting for full flow. I should start my lupron on Sept 16.

I love the pics of all the puppy dogs, kitty cats, and of course Sean and Zach. I have 3 dogs. A 10 yr old rat terrier named Jake. A 8 year old Jack Rat named Cowboy, and my baby is a 5 year old black lab mix named Nick. He basically looks like a lab pup because he is small and he has the most beautiful blue eyes. I love him so much and I have often joked that he is the only blue eyed boy I'm ever going to have (I have 3 girls). I will try to post pics after I get dinner started and I'm going to work on keeping up with everyone on here so I can address you guys when I post.

Hello Everyone!!

Ok so I went to my appt this morning they checked blood and vag. ultrasound. I have doubled/tripled in the follicales I had from yesterday. WOW! So they have decreased my follistim again started at 300iu and now 150iu. Everything is great and instead of saturday/sunday retreival it will be on friday.
so Tammy yes its going fast for me too and scared also but OMG so excited. Finally I feel like I have hope. I know its just the first trial but I was feeling like this would not work because of my weird shaped uterus but the closer we get the more hopeful I get. I really really hope it works.
Thank you ladies if I would not have joined this group I would not have had a place to celebrate and share. thank you. Victoria.
P.S Il keep you posted tomorrow. I might be off the follistim tomorrow.

Tammy -- Wow... you are stimming fast this time! I always stim for 7-8 days. Is there such a thing as "too fast" if the follies and E2 level are where they want them? I used Menopur last cycle as well and it seemed to help me go from 6-7 eggs to 10 eggs.

Franny -- Love your pics! So good to see you, DH, and your cute dog!

Lauren319-- Shrink your pics and then try to repost. Upload to photobucket and click "edit" and then "resize".... choose small or medium. Good luck!

Ryann-- Great E2! Hope you do get to ET. If not... I know you will have success on a FET.

Riogirl -- Your labs sound great. I think my FSH was around an 8 about a year ago. Did you have an AMH drawn? My clinic does that as well.

Teresa -- Hope you have lots of follies in there. Good luck at SnS!

Annashope -- I'm doing an FET in Oct as well. I will be taking tetracycline and methylprednisolone along with estrace and PIO. How cool that you sing professionally! Me.... I can't carry a tune in a box!

dvanctu7378 -- Sounds like stims are going well for you! Keep up the PMA... of course this can work!

klinger, Blang, Nancy, Wondercat and whoever else I forgot... Thinking of you all. Let's keep up the PMA. I think it helps tremendously. I remember a board late last summer/fall that had close to a 70% BFP rate. It was before I started my first cycle so I wasn't on the board but I did read. All of these women were so positive and upbeat. Maybe that's what did it?

AFM -- Still on BCP's another 9 days or so. Start Lupron on the 7th. Geeze... this FET cycle is draging for me. I don't even have a baseline u/s until 9/17. Is it October yet?
