Good morning ladies,

The list is great Coleen, thanks. It really does help to see at a glance who's doing what and when.

Hi bigj, how you doing? Sounds like you have some quick decisions to make, go for sept :D

Hiya tilly, sorry but I can't give any advice on the injections  nice to see you in sept though

AJ, glad to have you here as well. I think you'll like crashing this thread, the ladies here are fantastic! You'll get alot of support here that's for sure. Actually, you'll get it in any thread you go in here.

Randa, nice to see you back. Hope you had a great weekend with your friend over :)

Smita, how you doing today? You on your way to my house????

Brs888, how you feeling today? Karron, tracii, how you girls doing?

Well, I guess that's it for me for now. It's that time again. I think i'm going out today to buy some elma cream. Besides that, I start my new job today. Induction today so I don't think it will be to long. Don't know how to tell them next week that I need a day off for EC?

Have a good day girls. Hugggs to you all.

Hello all - hope your all doing well? i have my counselling session tomorrow at Woking Nuffields and I have just recevied my hormone levels from my Doctor and I am now worred that my FSH level is too high - it is 12, I have read through the Zita West book and for the last six weeks have changed my diet and drink plenty of water - I am due to start down regging last week in September, do you think they will still go ahead now?
Wishing you ladies the best of luck - PMA.
Best Wishes Kyla

Hi Jackie, nice to see you. Love to have you join us, the more the merrier :D This is my first ivf cycle. I've been on the boards a short time now. I came once before at the beginning of the year and now in the last couple weeks. It's a great source of inspiration and support. I don't know what I'd do without a place like this. Hope you like it here.

Kyla, I'm not sure about your fsh level. I guess it all depends on your clinic and dr? My clinic likes to see the fsh below 10, but my dr is one of the leading specialists in Aus and he told them if I was under 18 he would go ahead with tmt for me. My fsh on day 2 this month was 15.5 and i started a short cycle this month. So there you go, you are alot lower than I am, so you never know!! Wish you loads of luck, I really hope its a go for you. Take care

Hello

Have had a week away and now confirmed that we can start our IVF in September so am really pleased.

Due to start meds around 13th. I'm really excited and so is DH. My EC and ET will be in October but my planning sheet is downstairs and can't remember (approx) dates.

Looking forward to a chat when I've got more time (next week).

Lots of love.

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing OK!

Just wondering if anyone can answer a quick question.

I have read that you should avoid baths - Is this just during EC and ET or throughout the whole IVF process.

Only asking because I absolutely love my baths and find they help relax me.

Tilly

hi there tilly...

the bath thing... there are two reasons...

1st hot baths that make your temp go anything above norm, and make the eggs of poorer quailty-so they are out the whole cycle, but cooler ones are ok

2nd-all baths after the EC are out until the pregnancy test, cuz of infection reasons....

that's what i'm told, hope that it helps... sorry, i too love baths and find them wonderfully relaxing.... we'll suffer together

greetings,

Only been of computer for a few days and everything is up and running, cant believe how many of us there are. Abig welcome to all the new buddies.

Im doing ok, nearly finished my tablets to bring on af, and then hopefully have another baseline scan and then the next stage. The house is slowly coming along, so will only be able to pop in occassionally, as i need to get the sanding done, before going back to school a week on monday, i cant believe the time has flown by.

Cant wait to see everyones progress, take care and BFP to all

Paula - hope the jabs are getting easier, and that your daughter is able to do them.

take care

love

Paula, I loved your story re. your daughter's friend helping with the shots, good for you that you found some help. I've read of others going to their clinic each day (or a GP as a nurse there could help too). I give daily thanks not to have to do this.

If you've only been in Oz 2 years, does this mean DH is Aussie or did you move together (sticky beak aren't I?).

Hi everyone, we're really drawing a crowd now. I know we'll be more soon which is such good news for support, Q&A etc.

Hi all,

I too am dreading injections when they start but hopefully they will go OK. Well, I have just started taking metformin and am slowly upping the dose to see if there are any side effects. Are any of you guys taking this? I was told it would help with IVF and maybe even decrease my chances of m/c due to PCOS.

I have to say I am impatient to get started, maybe because the NHS took ages diagnosing my probs but time seems to be dragging. I just want to do something!! I am mad for counting down the days until I willingly stick needles into my body??

Oh well :?
