Ok everyone - I am REALLY nervous for tomorrow. I keep trying to take deep breaths to calm myself down. I am feeling a lot more positive day - yesterday was definitely a down-side of the rollarcoaster for me.
Libby - congrats!! I have had bad AF pains just like you did and to hear you got a BFP not only makes me thrilled for you, but it also gives me hope!! That is wonderful news!!
Allison - isn't your FET tomorrow? Hope those embies are thawing nicely. I will say a prayer for you - GOOD LUCK
AMD and lara - you are my test date buddies - hope you are holding it together!! I hope we all add big to the list tomorrow!!

Well after our red show last night at 7.30 and lots of tears we did a hpt and it came back negative. Wish i had never touched it. It was stupid to do as its too early to test as i still had 5 days to go. Since the show i haven't had any more blood and the dreaded AF seems to be staying away but i have terrible pains in tum and its been tumbling around like an old washine machine all day. My urine smells strong, like a period is on the way (sorry for that one, again) but at about 2.30 today i had one tiny brown spot again. THIS IS HELL.
Now we are just praying that we tested too early and the AF will stay away. Zita and the hospital say that you should only test after 14 days so the trigger injection is out of your body. I bled last time 2 days before my test so need to get through tomorrow. I have been in bed all day today as i am terrified AF will come if i stand up--stupid fool, she'll arrive when she wants, anytime.
Catch up tomorrow to hear about Lisa's BFP, good luck
Love Jen x

I have read over this site - going back at old posts and everything trying to get an idea of how many women took HPTs and how many got false results. Although I know some women get BFPs, it seems like a surprising amt. have gotten BFNs then gone on to get a BFP in the blood test. The fact that you only have a little spotting and haven't had full-fledged AF is a good sign too. Don't be discouraged - see this is the whole reason I have been staying away from the HPTs - b/c I am terrified of getting a false neg. and getting myself all upset for nothing.
I know you are feeling down - I was like that yesterday b/c I had shooting AF pains all day and was sure my period was coming. Then I read about Libby's BFP and she had AF pains in her 2ww. Not to mention most of the BFP ladies seem to have had spotting too!
Your symptoms could all be very normal and could mean a BFP!!
I am praying for you Jen - hang in there!!

Please don't come to any conclusions from the HPT.
I did two HPT and both came back negative. My bloods, though low (and still not sure if all is well) were positive.
The typical HPT only come back positive at levels of 80-100, and the average hCG levels for day 14 are 48 (with normal levels ranging from 17 to 119). As you can see it is really easy to have a negative HPT and be pg!
Wishing all 2ww's a few days till your tests. May the time fly by till your BFP!
One thing I have learned from this whole experience - TV late at night SUCKS!!

Lisa, AMD, Lara and Jen - good luck!! I know y'all are going crazy but it will all be over soon! And hopefully all you guys will get BFPs!! I was reading on the internet like MLG said above that these pregnancy tests do not measure low levels of HCG - only a few do. So alot of them testing early is not going to give an accurate result. Supposedly First Response Early, Equate and Confirm 1 pick up HCG as low as 25. But some of these brands I have never heard of. That's just what I read on the internet - who knows if its true!! Most of them do only pick up HCG around 80-100.
Hoping AF stays away for good!!!
AMD, where in Texas are you from? I'm in North Texas, outside of Dallas.
I am not too bad right now - thought I would be more nervous! But I get to go home and watch Lost and then before I know it it will be tomorrow! Thats when I'll be nervous! Just praying that phone call is good and that little Thor and Xena survive the thaw!
I wish I could leave work early - not doing anything anyways!
I made a list of chick flicks I haven't seen yet for my DH to rent for me so I can relax this weekend! Of course he is chickening out and making my sis-in-law do it! Men are so funny! I said well at least I didn't have you rent Brokeback Mountain!! HAHAHAHA
Ok I have blabbed enough...hope I have distracted you just a bit from the long 2ww!
Seriously though, I am praying for every single one of you. I'll be with you on it soon!
HUGS,
Allison
Thanks Allison! I wanted to tell you that I am a HUGE Lost fan too! Tonight's episode looks like it will be really good! Oh, and a good chic flick I saw recently - "In Her Shoes" with Cameron Diaz. Kind of long - but I really liked it I will be thinking of you tomorrow!! Sending babydust to Thor and Xena!!

Wow AMD, that is a long drive! I went to school in East Texas at SFA - Nacogdoches. So I know that I-20 drive all too well too!!
Hopefully it will all be worth it!!!
Hope we both get good news tomorrow! BFP for you - good thaw for me!
Lisa, LOST does look so good tonight! At least that will pass the time away for ya!! If it was a rerun it would be a long night! After the new ones, we all sit around and talk about the episode and what we think is going on!
Wow AMD - that is too weird!
I went there from 1995 to 1997 - didn't graduate though! I guess going to class would have helped! That's crazy we were there at the same time!
Good luck again - I'll be thinking of you tomorrow during your long early drive!!
