Hello to everyone else. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
P.S. do any of you watch all the baby programmes? I love Test Tube Babies on Discivery Health only thing is I get so excited when they're coming on only to be upset when it's a repeat but saying that yesterday's one I hadn't seen. I also love multiple mums and Portland Babies.Image

Hi everyone, I hope your all having a good weekend......

We'll yesterday was a bit upsetting, but we had a BBQ which took my mind of it. The weather was beautiful it was 33c/92f.

In the morning i wrote a poem and tied it to a helium balloon and set it floating into the heavens to wish him a happy birthday.
You shoud have seen it go, there was no wind but it went so high i couldn't see it any more.

Sorry if i confused you guys but his birthday was 17th not today.

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts, they really help me to get through it all.
I feel fine now back to my usual abnoxious self.

As DH says i'm a strong, stubborn *****, i don't say down for long and never give up.....

Well we have an appointment on Thursday so they can show DH how to jab me in the butt, he's so looking forward to doing that

I start my lupron on the 27th the day we fly back to England, so that wil be fun working out all the time, with the 5 hr time difference. The say to take a watch with you that is your countires normal time and keep it at that time and do you jabs by that, only problem with that is, i will have to get up in the middle of the night to do them

Well thats enough of talking about me.

How's everyone doing :?: :?:

NickiMark - I'm really sorry for you lack of sperm i hope you can find some soon and get back on course, i'm wishing you all the luck in the world.

Paula - I'm sorry you had to delay the start of your cycle, but hopefully you can enjoy your holiday now without worrying about all the jabs and meds.
Not long now before all that glorious sun, sand, sea and hopefully sex with no AF.
You better not disappear from this family of friends, i really look forward to your posts, they put a smile on my face and a skip in my step.
Keep up those smileys too they are so good. I have given you the colour brown for the tan you are going to get 8) 8)
I use to love watching those programmes when i was in England especially Portland babies, where the posh people go. We get looks of shows over here, on the subject but it's not the same.

Tonia - Welcome to our family, you will find everyone so supportive here they are a great bunch of ladies, good luck with your cycle.

Rachel - Sounds like everything is going good for you as no complaints coming from your direction, which is great!!!!
So all i can say is happy shopping and good caravaning......

Jeck - Hope AF shows up soon for you, on my last cycle it took 5 days for it to arrive and then it was just spotting for 7 days.
They say it should arrive about 4 days after starting lupron.

Em - Glad you got your ticker going, even if its backwards, mine still won't work i have to type it in everytime....
Hope those embies are snuggling in well and your letting DH do everything for you.

JackieG - I know how you feel with the waiting, this wait to start lupron seems to last longer than the 2ww, mind you i am waiting to go home to England too. Keep yourself busy and hopefully the time will fly by...

All you other ladies, hope everything is going well.

Take care
Rachel OXO

hi there

hoping to join the thread. i am about to start my downers on tue ( i think). it depends on blood test. my clinic monitors for the first month so i was surprised when they said i could be starting on tue as i thought i had to have my af first. I also had the killer cell test and will have to take steriods and intrevenious stuff to help my embrios implant. i have a crappy immune system aparently. But it is very costly!!! It will be worth it in the end when i have a bundle of joy.

Hope everyone is well

xx susan

Hi ladies,
I don't know if its the horomones, but I need to rant. I started the Lupron a week ago. My sister is donating eggs to us. She lives 6 hours away from the clinic and I live 3 1/2. It is a big inconvenience for her to have to travel so much. She has a great dh and 2 kids. I saw them this weekend and I started to talk to my sister about everything and my bro-in-law clamed up when he is usually a talker. I asked her what was wrong and she said that he is upset she is going to be gone so much. I understand this, but I just think if the situation was turned around, I would be more than happy to help out my family. I think I am just being ultra sensitive. I just do not want there to be any bad feelings about this whole thing. I told my sister the last time we went to the clinic together that I felt bad that she had to travel so much. She told me she did not want me to feel one iota of guilt. She was more that happy to do this. I realize this is a major imposition on their life though. I guess it will be over soon. My mother and sister are going to the clinic tomorrow to do blood and U/S. I guess I should just feel lucky that I have her in my life and just let him know how much I appreciate his sacrifice. Oh, they also have to not have sex for most of the time before and for 3 weeks after due to high chance of pg. I know she definately does not want that. I feel so badd!!! I go to the clinic on friday for blood and U/S and dh's backup and shot class for dh to give me estradiol shots. AF should show up this week also. Thanks for listening. I appreciate you ladies and your stories.

Hi Rileydee. Try not to get too upset (easier said than done). If your sister didn't want to help I'm sure she wouldn't have agreed. IVF affects so many people - family and friends. I'm sure your sister knows just hpw much of a gift she's giving you. Three wks isn't long. Take care.

Hello everyone else. I'm a wee bit upset. I replied to a new membie yest from Aberdeen. I was looking forward to her reply. I got a shock when I read her reply. She thought parts of my message were insensitive. I just asked questions about her treatment because a lot of us write in our profile about TTC, any probs etc. I thought I was helping by giving some advice.
Susan - good luck with your BT tom.
Tonia - you can get a ticker from www.tickerfactory.com

Thanks Paula,
I to watch the baby shows. I keep feeling like I shouldn't until I am pg. You are helpful, and from what I've seen you have nothing but good intentions for all of us.
