March/April cycle buddies??

Question: Have any of you experienced a rash with the progesterone shots? This morning my DH gave me the shot like normal, but it really burned and then got itchy and broke out in a rash. I still have the rash. Just wondering if I'm the only one.

statsgoddess: My clinic had me drink 32 ounces and let me tell you it's too much. I would do what they tell you, but if you start to get in too much pain I would go to the bathroom just until you relieve some of the pain. That's what my clinic had me do. Every clinic is different. They will know if you're full enough before they do the procedure cause they look with a sono.

Sportsmom: My clinic doesn't check on day 2 because they don't want to take a chance of messing with a good thing. I thought they would check for me too, but they said they never do. I know it's a pain and hassle with your schedule, but hang in there.

OK... the nurse left a voicemail telling to only use one Bravelle tonight and same amount of Lupron. I've been doing 1-Bravelle and 1-Menopur plus the 5units of Lupron. I called back to ask her if they know if trigger will still be tomorrow and they wont know until the US tomorrow.

This looks like it's never going to end: The injections!

ok ladies i am at work so i gotta be quick i had 2nd us and bw today my follies are all in the 12 to 15mm area i get to continue but they increased my dose of gonal f to 225 i tried to call nurse back but didnt reach her in time this happened the last time and i ended up with bfn has anyone else been increased while stimming is this a real high dose im freaking and i am at work till 930 tonight
i am just worried im not responding well very low pma now

amfmbaby: I am not sure about your dose (too high or too low), but when I was stimming I had to increase my dose. I was on Follistim and Lupron. My numbers were low so they increased mine and it turned out great. Not sure if that helps.

amfm- everyone is different. My first cycle they started me at 225 of follistim and I ended up at the end taking 375 plus a vial of menopur, that cycle resulted in the birth of my daughter. This time they started me high (375) and reduced it almost everyday until I ended at 175 plus a menopur. So adjustments in doses do not indicate success or failure, just be happy they are monitoring you closely and staying on top it it

hopeful sorry i was caught up in my panic earlier i did have rash from PIO inj but it was small and mainly by inj site hope this helps

Hey ladies. I see several that I knew from previous boards. I'm Back! I have been doing the FET cycle in March and April. I had my first pregnancy test Friday and my number was a 5. They told me the number should have been like 75. I was told that a full term pregnancy would not happen but they had me re-test today. Now my number is 14. I am still told that I would not go full term b/c the number is not high enough. They called it a "biochemical pregnancy". I just took a HPT and it was postitive. The ones that I took last week were all negative. Has anyone else had this happen???? When I researched it, the examples showed people that had numbers that went down. Mine are low but are going up. RE says I have to keep retesting until the numbers start to go down. I restest on Wednesday.

I transferred 2 frozen embies on April 15th. They told me one was a 90% and one was a 50%. Not sure what those numbers mean, but basically told me that one was really good and was not so good, but still could result in a pregnancy.

kcraven-- Im sorry you have to go through this emotional time. I also had a chemical my 2nd IVF cycle. My numbers went up for a little while and I got + HPTs but then it was a 26 at the RE then a 23.....but there is always hope! I have seen some people wth low betas have a real pregnancy!

AFM-- CT Michele-- you can put me back onthe stimming list. I started again last night. Poss ER may 7th or 8th and ET the 11th or 12th.

Hi everyone !! have a quick question .. I am on stims for the last six days and went in for my u/s and b/w yesterday .. I am on bravelle ,menopur and lupron .. since last night I feel pressure in my lower abdomen on both sides and also have some cervical mucus ..am peeing very frequently too..It's the feeling that u get when u r ovulating although the cervical mucus is not alot but I am just dead scared .. I even called my nurse and left amessage ..Did anyone of you experience the same feeling?? Can u ovulate even if you are on lupron ?? Any info would be helpful ,

You were right! I'll trigger tonight, the nurse just called and said that I'll do it at 9pm and have to be in the office Thurs at 7:15 am.

Update: The office called me this morning and said my embies are developing nicely and they cancelled the ET for today and we're set for a 5 day transfer on Thursday. My DH said he could see me exhale deeply with relief when talking to them. I'm not recovered 100% from the ER and I just wanted a few extra days to get my body back to normal before doing the ET.

How's everyone else? Any beta results?!
