Lou - What an awesome 2nd beta!!!! I am thrilled for you!!!

Tammy - I forgot to say what a cute story about Zach with the big brother shirt. Definitely a sign!!!

AFM they did not want me doing a beta today cuz too early. They said I can go tomorrow, but I may as well wait for Wednesday since I am off. Definitely AF. I don't think this can be called spotting lol. I just want to start again asap!

Rio -- I made my first ticker! :D

Angela -- I only transferred ONE 3 day embie because that's all I had this cycle! It was both my worst cycle and my best cycle. 3 eggs, 2 mature, 1 fertilized. Do you even believe it worked?

Amanda -- I agree... you should poas with first morning urine and don't let a negative test get you down. It might be too early to show up!

babyluv3 -- Thank you! I was really happy to get that call. How are the twins?

LYD -- Those sound like awesome results! I hope you do get 8 embies!

Chris (to_have_fun08)-- Thanks for the awesome dancing bears blinkie!!! I'm so excited for your donor cycle!!!

Lauren -- Thanks so much. I am praying we will be celebrating your BFP before long. I love that you are eager to get started again!

AFM -- I forgot to tell everyone that when I walked out of my clinic this morning after having my blood drawn, my RE was pulling up. When he got out of his car he asked me how I was feeling and said how happy he and everyone was with my beta on Friday. He said the lab girl came racing into his office waving the piece of paper with my result going "omg... you aren't going to believe it... she's really really pregnant". He said he actually jumped up and down...lol. I believe it. My RE is quite young and I relate well to him. He's younger than I am and has twins via IVF.

Tammy -=congrats on your four awesome embies. Can't wait for your BFP!!1

Amanda - don't drive yourself to crazytown with those sticks. how many days past transfer are you? always try with first morning pee. later on in the day the pee isn't as concentrated and its harder to get the two lines if it is positive.

I am 9 day Post transfer and I POAS today after I woke up. I work 3rd shift so my night is my morning.

Holy Cow ladies!!! I don’t post for 2 days and the board EXPLODES!!!

Time for another looooooooong and bright Margi post...hope no one minds...

Tammy: WONDERFUL!! SO happy for you...and I love what Zach did...a truly beautiful sign. Rest up as those beautiful embies snuggle in tightly..Image

Jieb: What a strong survivor you are. It is always ok to vent here--no apologies. Just please take care of yourself. 12 adults and 5 kids to host?: a bit too much I would say. I guess another sign of your strength!!Image

Lyd10: Grow follies Grow!!! Sounds like things are going great...trigger tomorrow! You are in the home stretch now.

Kerri: Holy Tamoli!! 17 eggs  Rest those busy ovaries my dear!

Amanda (Trusting): Germany here you come!! It sounds like a wonderful opportunity. So happy for you.

Kimber: How are you doing? Resting?

Anton: I hear ya on missing a couple days....there is a lot of reading to do! Lots of wonderful news however. And your BFP is coming up soon--we will be cycling close together I do believe.

Rio/Ryann: Always wonderful to see you checking up on us....spreading your baby dustImage..and I feel the pull....many of us will soon be joining you. I FEEL IT!!

Meinemo: Congratulations!!! Woohoo!! Image Thanks for jumping back in to let us all know how you are doing. Sending wonderful vibes for a terrific rise in your beta on Wed.

Sunshine12: 6 fertilized...awesome. This is going to be your time to see the 2 lines. Keep up the PMA and pamper yourself...you are going to be PUPO very soon.

SD: What difficult decisions we have to make during this journey. Talk with DH and do whatever feels the best for you as a couple. You will soon be PUPO. And regardless of what and when...you are getting your BFP whatever route you choose!!ImageImage

Kat: Sounds like a great plan--I am glad that your RE is thinking of how to maximize things for you. Can’t wait for you to get started next month.

Lee: What a journey you have had. So sorry for your losses. You will find lots of strong women here who can completely relate. So glad that all worked out with DS. I know that foster to adopt can be tricky. He will become a GREAT big brother soon. Best of luck with your appt on Wednesday.Image

Tiger: Glad things are ok. Yeah...there are times when we all need a little distance. It is ok. Hope you are taking good care of yourself.Image

Amanda79: Ok. You can officially be the mayor of Crazytown. I am hoping and praying those faint positives were the real deal--just so variation in your levels. And hey, at least you didn’t ask DH to pee on one for you. LOL. Hoping tomorrow brings you a strong second line--use FMU!! Tomorrow you will be 12dpo?Image

Samantha:
Sorry you are feeling low. Remember, this journey is quite a rollercoaster, and the hormones don’t make that any easier. Not sure if you are taking Lupron, but I hear it can make one down...take extra care of yourself. Sounds like things are really on track with your cycle. When you go for next SnS ask for measurements of the follies..12 or 13 sounds good. Hang in there!Image

Lauren:
Sorry for AF arrival. But hoping that you get back started soon...I know that feeling! And, if you need ME to write a letter to your insurance company I will because it would be utterly absurd if they deny you this next IVF.
Image

Qita: So sorry hon (((HUGS)))) Hang in there...do the medication 2 more days, pray for the best.

Hope: Glad the 4 lbs is gone...but keep on chugging that Gatorade. I can’t stand the stuff now since I think I drank 4 cases of the stuff when I had OHSS...but it does help. Getting a positive beta on your 4 month anniversary will be just perfect! I can’t wait to hear your news and get to celebrate with you.Image

Mellow: You are so completely wonderful.ImageAfter all that you have been through and are going through to open your doors to me (literally) is so beautiful. Makes me teary how close we have all become--often through the most difficult of times, but also through all the joy. I am so happy for you. Maybe we can grab lunch? I PMd you. Let’s talk.

Sherry: Glad that you are feeling better. Keep up the pampering however!

Carol: Have you ever tried the Wondfo brand sticks? You can get them off Amazon super cheap and they seem to work well from what others tell me...I have a drawer full ready for my next 2ww. Good luck tomorrow with the SnS. I am still crossing fingers that you have a pile of follies in that hidden ovary of yoursImageImage.then BDing can get you a baby on the “cheap” and fun ;-)

Nwquiz: Looks like we will be close and in the 2ww together. Again. This time I say we get 2 BFP’s!! Work for you? Sounds like time for AF dance for you, eh?Image

Leora: What is wrong with that social worker? Maybe because they have so few children her “job” is to discourage people. Whatever the case, do NOT let her deflate your PMA...you are going to have babies. I totally understand your need to have a back up plan, but for now concentrate on this excellent cycle that you are in. Remember...we are going to be moving over to the Pregnant board together...well...you will beat me by a few weeks. I will PM you with some information about adoption--regarding effects of trauma, drugs, alcohol, etc. It isn’t always a bright picture, but definitely not all grim. But right now I want you to be focusing on those ovaries of yours--I will be looking forward to your SnS report tomorrow.Image

Lou: Excellent beta! You and DH must be over the moon. Now the next 2ww for u/s. Love your new ticker :-) And great story about RE celebrating...we all are so thrilled for you!!Image

AFM: Well!! I go for SnS on Wednesday and am supposed to start Lupron then. Stupid mail off pharmacy has Lupron on BACK ORDER...uh, I kinda need it in two days. She will ask insurance to over-ride and let me get it from a local clinic, but if not, then I'll have to pay out of pocket. For a problem that isn't my fault? After being on hold for 45 minutes! Ugh. I will try to take deep breaths and hope she gets it worked out when she calls me in the morning. On the bright side: I have made arrangements for California! 8) 8) Got a fabulous "medical" rate on a great hotel just minutes from the clinic. Full kitchen and free internet and breakfasts which will be great for the budget. I will be there 10 days/nights and DH for 6. EXCITING time for me...hope the Lupron doesn't send me for a loop. I have never taken it before and the side effects sound unpleasant. Oh, well....not going to let it get me down!! (remind me of that ladies if it seems to be. LOL)

Margi- I did mention to him this morning about POAS..LOL but I was kidding. That is too funny that you mention that. My DH wants to know if there is a place on here where the men can get on & share stories on what their wives make them do. Today is now Tuesday so now I am 10 dpt. The test I took Monday was negative, so I don't what to think. I have a digital test but I am scared to take it. I don't want to see not pregnant. I hope they get your Lupron to you on time. I didn't have any side effects from the Lupron last cycle. Maybe you won't either. When do you leave for California?

AFM: My problem I was having is now gone :) I did however POAS & now I am just confused. The one I did last night showed a faint line and the one I did tonight was negative. The one that was + I did at work and I wasn't sure if it was right because it took so long to show up, so I had my co-worker pee on one and I peed on another one. Then I compared them after about 10 mins and I had a faint line she did not. We used the hospital tests :) Anyways, tonight on a equate test it was negative. SO I have officially put myself in crazy town. I mean who makes their co-worker take a test so she can compare? LOL

LOL, amanda, you are totally and utterly the major of crazy town!!! I love it!! First time ever, I seen someone run their own control study at work. I always remember what the ladies say here-- there are only false negative pee tests not false positives!! Keep peein' on those sticks and report back ASAP!!!

hmmmmm maybe I should pee tomorrow to make sure the trigger is out, any votes yes????? Let's hear it ladies, all those in favor of crazy early pee tests, say "I"!!!

I say "I" so I won't be the only one in crazy town..lol

hi ladies :)

hope everyone is doing great and things are moving according to your plans! :D so here we go....

Leorira-I cant believe your social worker was such a b****!! dont you guys let your hopes down! keep that spirit high and don't let her get you down. you should try and other sources for adoption in vrivate offices or something. dont go only with the government. I am sure somewhere there is a healthy baby waiting for you to be his/her mommy & daddy! i also wish you a BFP at the end of this cycle! one way or another you are going to be a mommy! dont let anyone tell you otherwise! :D xxx

Sunshine-that's a very good fertility report dear! I wish you see those 2 lines at the end of this cycle. I am looking forward to see them too!!!! :D

Meinemo-Congratulations!!!! :D

SDtrying-I wish you the best. no matter what you decide I am sure is going to be the right one! dont worry!

Lou-Perfect Beta indeed!! I am so happy for you dear! may you have an easy & healthy pregnancy!...and please sent me some baby dust!! :D all of us here waiting for those 2 lines that will change our lives forever! personally i have everything I need in my life. the only thing missing is a baby/babies hopefully 3...for the moent let the 1 come and be healthy...my DH is nuts about girls! his dreem is to have twin girls and a boy... :)

Sweetpea-Good for you for starting a cycle! the quality of embryo's transferred as seen in so many cases its irrelevant for the outcome! e.g in my last ET one of the 2 embies transfered was a grade A embie. it was a 10 cell embie and my ER was very optimistic about this one and told us that this one is going to be a winner. i got a BFN. so that's why I am telling you. we hear so many stories about good embies transferred and at the end they get a negative and others with not so good embies or even fragmented embies that give a BFP at the end. dont get your hopes down! i wish you all the best dear!

Amanda/trusting-i hope Germany is the place for you to get a BFP! :D I am happy for you! :D

Margi-i think you will start stimming before I do but we are going to be close :) I am so excited just by thinking of starting stimming! i feel like a junky! i miss my shots! i am eager to see those 2 precious lines!!! the cali plan sounds great! i am excited for you dear! :) i hope everything goes as plan! :D

AFM- i have nothing new to report. so no news is good news :) I am just waiting for our blood test appt on the 25th and the RE appt on the 28th to give us the blood test results from the shots I ve been taking. he will also give us the meds to start stimming!!!! yay!!!! :D cant wait to start!! life is good! i am feeling happy and cant wait to be pregnant!!! :D

baby dust to all!!

Sweatpea-yaaaaaah for jumping back on the wagon. all the best this cycle. this will be it for you. I agree sometimes its just bad luck/ this IVF thing is a true gamble that is why we are so addicted and keeping trying to win.

Margi-Go girl getting close to hit CA. yes we will be cycling together this time around and get those two lines together  :D sounds real good at present. Am so ready to start injecting myself like an addict it makes no sense.

Amanda- Girl in cray world. so i ask what was the result of this morning.i know you are geting another faint second line. :D all the best and fingers crossed for a strong beta.

Sdtrying- "I" to poas addict.
as for me the doc says it just may be me stressed out that is why am late wtf  . so he wont give me anything but by friday is she does not show up i need to go to the clinic. oh well nice day ladies.

Amanda (Trusting) - no idea about Germany, but sounds great! I moved to a country where I didn't speak the language and had almost never visited before - so if you have questions about that, let me know. What an adventure!

Meinemo -- CONGRATS! yay! What a great beta! I'm so happy for you!

Sunshine 12 - I know it's hard when there are less than last time (I had that too), but 6 is still great! I love your AF dance blinkie - very cute. So what date is your ET (for the list)?

Anton - I thought I would hate all this time with nothing to do, but I'm actually really enjoying it! I'm doing all my errands without running and running. I had lunch with a friend today for a few hours. I kinda like the 'me-time'!

SD - waiting for the embryos to grow and to decide on a 3/5 day transfer and how many to transfer is always so hard. People think that the needles are the hardest part of IVF, but it's the decisions that are most awful... We are really really really torn about eSET vs DET.... I don't want twins again... but how much more of this can I do? It's never an easy answer, and both options are both right and wrong.

Lou - 780! WOW! With twins, my beta at 17dpo was 450.... so yours is super high. I really hope that means this is a really sticky little jelly bean! u/s on 2/22? That's so soon! (I know to you that feels like eons away) I love your ticker!

nwquiz - I hate when AF doesn't show up but youkeep hoping and hoping and hoping it's because of a majorly surprising BFP.... I'm sorry yours isnt and I really hope she shows up soon. Ooooh, your doctor is being mean. How late are you? At a certain point, being late makes you stressed, which makes your period later, which makes you more stressed out! Do you have any leftover progesterone? When my clinic wants me to get a period, I take the progesterone suppositories (the same kind and dose as after my ET) for 5 days and then stop them. That'll bring on AF!

Kat - I hate when the doctors tell you that it's just luck. You've heard my awful story, right? The explanation is just 'bad luck'. I'm sorry hon. Better 'luck' next time.

Tiger - thanks for your kind words. How are things going with you? Still peeing a BFN? I'm so sorry hon. When is your beta?

Amanda 1979 - Oooooooh I hope that's a real BFP! I haven't made a coworker pee, but my husband has taken his fair share of cheapie tests for comparison!

LYD - congrats on triggering!

Lauren - I'm so sorry. I'm keeping you on the PUPO list until your beta --- maybe you'll have a big surprise.... I know it's not likely. I hate the days between when you are 99% sure it's a BFN and that final confirmation. All I can think about is that 1% of doubt.... I'm sorry.

Margi - we are super busy around here! Lots of exciting things happening! I think the social worker was just trying to help us understand what we are getting into... but she was really scaring us. I really hope your Lupron comes before you have to pay for it! Ugh, that's so annoying.

AFM --- SnS sucked this morning. MORE FREAKING BAD NEWS. I've been on 3 vials of Menopur a day since Sunday, and my follies didn't grow AT ALL! I still have2 x 10 on each side, plus a ton of slightly smaller ones. My doctor isn't so concerned, and thinks this might just be a 'slow start'.... but the nurse this morning saw my u/s results (not blood) and said "well, we can always cancel and do next month" Apparently my e2 went up, even though my follies and lining didn't grow at all. It's about 900 something now.

I just sit tight and take another 3 Menopur today and tomorrow and go back on Thursday night. I'm not starting the Ganirelix yet. Any advice?

I'm really really really upset about this. Hopefully it'll work out. I'm worried about lower quality eggs/embryos because of the 'slow start'.... maybe stopping and starting over would be better? UGH! I really don't want to do that!

THE LIST:

-Sunshine1576 - PLAN: Lap surgery, 2 rounds of IUI and then IVF in June (if not already pregnant!)

Lou - congrats of awesome Beta...you go girl!

lyd - good luck on your trigger and ER. Hope you get lots of eggs...maybe a bakers dozen

hope - good luck on your Beta today!

margi26 - TY so much for your inspiring poem. i love it! How can lupron be on back order? lupron is one of the most basic meds that is needed for IVF...that boggles my mind! Good luck in Cali! too bad you couldn't get a suite...that would be sweet!

Leora - Sorry to hear about the social worker. I think adoption is 100x's harder than IVF. they make it so hard to adopt. you have to be "perfect" abut what family is "perfect"? Everyone is dysfunctional in their own way. I hate knowing that there's a kid or a baby that needs a home and they make it so difficult to adopt. So sorry about your SnS. I know how frustrating it can be. you do everything by the book and yet the results you get aren't what is expected. who cares what the nurse says...listen to your doc. they'll adjust your meds and before you know it, you'll have lots of follies! Keep your head up! take it one day at a time...things will turn around. look how far you've come already!

Ty to all for your kind and thoughtful words. Best of luck to all and lots and lots of baby dust!!!!

I went in for SnS and I have three follies (2 on right and one on left) ALL at about 11mm. The two on the right haven't grown in 4 days. AND I am on cd17. I told RE I just want to scrap it this cycle. Screw IUI and its doubtful that BD will even get me anything. Something is definitely screwed up in there. I had better results on just clomid alone. Oh well....

Leora - how come they only have you on just menopur? each vile of menopur is 75 FSH and 75 LH. usually folks here are on a combo of menopur and pure FSH (gonal F and follistim). i started on 1 menopur and 150 FSH - so that's 225 FSH and 75 LH. later they rebalanced me on 2 menopur and 75 FSH, so that's 225 FSH and 150 LH.

i just read your posts with Ghost and answered my own question. sounds like the doctor is trying it different ways. maybe the start is slower because you have lots of follies and the medicine is being spread among all of them?

rio - our pregnant cheerleader..how are you?? can't wait to find out if you are having a boy or girl this week..

SD - hmm..decisions, decisions..wish there was an easy way.. but whatever you choose, you are going to get your BFP in this cycle..did you pee to see if the trigger is out?

nwquiz- is your doc playing god..? how can we not get stressed, when periods is late and we can't wait to get on the IVF wagon..ask him to give it already…

kat - good to hear that your WTF appointment well..and i can't wait for you to start your next cycle..sometimes i think IVF is like taking lottery..may be it is good to have 1 more cycle at your current clinic, they already know how you behaved in each cycle, and may be that will give them an advantage to select a protocol that suits you the best for next cycle…

tiger - good luck for you beta tomorrow..im sure you are going to get pleasantly surprised..

amandaaaa - did you pee this morning??? i am sure your 4 embies are fighters…one/two of them is going to give you that BFP for sure..

lyd10 - good luck for your ER!!

lauren - hugs for you..please keep PMA till beta..i know its hard..but i have seen crazy miracles happening in this forum…

margi - you are getting so close day by day…good to hear that you got a good deal on hotel..now get ready for your vacation and to bring home your baby..and these insurance ppl can be a pain sometimes…i hope you get your lupin on time..

anton - my creative friend..i so much wish i had some kind of creative juice in my blood..but i have a good taste for appreciating good creativity.. do you know which protocol you will be following?

carol - keep PMA..and do BD just for the fun of it..i know it's hard..but our body behaves in mysterious ways…

leora - may be your ovaries are reacting differently because the medication combination used is slightly different than last time and i am sure the smaller follies will catch up soon.. please don't think about canceling the cycle..ppl get pregnant all the time with highest dose of medicine..yours is nowhere near those dosage (for last 2 cycles i had - 300 gonal f, and 225 menopur and for my first cycle 450 gonal f alone).. my ET is tentatively tomorrow(feb 9th), but if i have exceptionally good 4 embryos(not counting on it), they will push it to friday(feb 11th). i will only know about it tomorrow..

everyone else - have happy thoughts and enjoy your day….
