Neffi- keeping my fingers crossed!!

Washingtonda- I hope all goes well, just try to stay calm...

Esperanza, Mrs G- your turn is soon!! 8 more days!! Yay!
Esperanza- how r your midterms?

Amy- good luck on this cycle!! Do I remember correctly, r u from Germany? Which part?

CT_Michelle- how are you?

Sorry if I missed anyone.

As for me, this cycle is getting awfully long :( My RE wanted me to have at least 1 natural cycle before we start preparing for FET, and boy, this natural cycle is WEIRD!!! First, I had a period that lasted over 2 weeks, then I ovulated at 4 weeks, so I should get my period by the end of this week, then BC pills, AND my FET was moved to May :( It seems so far ahead... At least I will be done with classes at that point.
Sending baby dust to you!!!

thinking of you, washingtonda. what a scare you've had. hope all is well. do follow ghost's advice and try to stay as calm as possible during this difficult time.

all the best to you andnichole at the high risk dr.

unexplained - so nice to hear from you. after a cycle of IVF it is very typical for AF and everything else to take longer - but everything should start getting back to normal soon and you only have to wait out the rainy month of April and you'll be ready for your FET! Best that all factors are as optimal as possible, rather than starting when your body isn't ready. It is hard to wait, but it will be worth it. And, like you said - you'll be finished with classes at that point - so one less stress factor to deal with as well! And that is a good thing! Yes, I am in Germany, in the Black Forest region.

neffi -- will be thinking of you on Thursday! Good luck with your ER! Enjoy your shot free day today.

hi to esperanza, pumma, ct-michele, mrs. g and everyone else reading. Take care, xx Amy

unexplained-- good to hear from you! Hope everything is well. I know, May must seem so far away, but it will be here before you know it. I also had a bad AF after IVF, but its wasnt that long. ANyway, thanks for the luck, I'll take all I can get. Its my turn this time, I can feel it! :D

Trigger shot last night wasnt too bad. I get a weird bump on my belly afterwards. This one is much smaller than last cycle, but it is painful.....just when I bend over or my waistband hits it. I am so ready for ER tomorrow. I am really hoping my eggs look better than last cycle. I have everything crossed.

Okay well I hope everyone has a nice Wed.

Just getting back from the Docs. They didn't give me an ultrasound but the babies heartbeat was there. Doc said this sometimes happens so I'll just continue to take it easy and pray for the best.

I have had no more bleeding sine so I am feeling better today.

Thanks for the prayers and the comments. You guys are great.

Hi everyone-

Neffi- congrats on trigger and good luck at ER tomorrow. Have I missed a follie report from you? Everything went soooo fast, I didn't even realize you were stimming already! We will be waiting to hear tomorrow, update us when you can...

Washingtonda- so glad to hear everything seems to be fine. I am sure what happened is normal, like everyone has said. When is your next dr's appt?

Amy- you start stimming in just a couple of days...you must be excited! We will be looking forward to your updates.

Unexplained- good to hear from you. I am better today, thanks for asking. I know May seems so far away, but I sure it will come faster than you think. And like you said, classes will be over...I can not wait for this semester to end, I am kicking myself for taking 2 classes now, and can you believe I am considering summer courses too? I really need to take the courses, and since I will not be working, I figure it will keep me busy. I am just not looking forward to campus 4 days a week while I am 6-7 months pregnant.

To everyone else- hope you are all feeling well, and the week is almost over...yay to almost weekend!

Neffi- good luck today!!! Update us.

CT-Michelle- I am taking 2 courses right now and am considering 2 courses during summer, b/c I want to do as many as possible before I get pregnmant or have a baby, so that later I can take it easy and focus on the baby. But it is not easy with the full time job. I work at the university, so I am on campus 5 days a week anyway, but I bet for you it is not fun. On the other hand, you got to show your nice big belly to everyone in the summer :D

Washingtonda- glad it is all better now. How are you feeling?

Amy- I was considering living in that area but chose US instead. I come from Eastern Europe.

Have a good day!

I am back form ER! 18 eggs!!!!! YAY! I feel a little crampy and tired. It went very well. I was hoping that they would tell me how the eggs looked...if you guys remember, they looked weird last time...but they have to strip them first, so we will find out with the fert report tomorrow! I am going to take a nap, I will be back to do personals later!

Neffi--18 eggs...wow! congratulations. This is wonderful. take care of yourself and rest up, that's very important. Sending you lots of luv and baby dust.

WashingtonDA-- how scary. I'm sorry you're going through that my dear. Rest, rest, rest, and think positive thoughts. How have you been feeling? has the bleeding stopped?

Unexplained and Michelle--my fellow graduate students. I'm only taking 2 courses this semester, it's so much better, but the truth is that I would have loved to take a medical leave or something so I could just concentrate on me and getting pregnant. Of course, that's not possible right now, so it is what it is. School is going ok, although is hard to concentrate. I still have to finish a paper from last semester (can you believe that?)...the fresh cycle was too time/emotionally/phisically consuming for me. I'm finishing it next week though (my spring break!). The other day I had a mini-melt down..."I can't do this...working, studying, cooking, cleaning, trying to become a mother..." Dh, worried, he went out of his way to make me feel better

andnichole let us know how your appointment goes tomorrow. I hope the little ones are doing great.

Amy-- stimming starts tomorrow!!!! yes hun...so exciting. Thank you for keeping up with the list.

Pumma so good to see back around here. This is our time, for sure.

As for me, well, I got a little scare yesterday because I went in for my b/w and u/s and the doctor thought I had ovulated. I was bummed for a little bit and was getting ready for bad news later during the day. Well, my blood tests came out great, so we are still on!!!!! I don't even have to go back for b/w or u/s. I just continue with my meds (I start the PIOs tonight!) and FET on Wednesday. I don't even need the patches anymore, I'm taking it off tonight (I just keep up with the estrace). I'm so excited. I'll be resting and writing papers...how fun! (I'm being sarcastic). But for real, I'm going to rent some funny movies, I want to relax, laugh and be happy. I'll be writing my papers too, but I will only do that a few hours a day with many breaks.

I'm determined to be happy and keep my PMA...Just to share something with you all, I had a situation with dh because he's a great guy, but a bit much of flirt for my jealous personality; he has calm down A LOT since we first got married, but every now and then I see a red flag and it sends me to "jealous wife" mode....no fun  anyway, something I just wanted to share that with my gals (I don't get to talk about that with practically anybody), so thanks for reading!

Neffi -- Congrats on your ER. 18 eggs is awesome. Good luck on fertilization. Please keep us posted on how those babies fertilize.

Esperanza & Ms. G - FET in 5 more days. I have everything crossed for the two of you. I feel real positive that you are gonna get your chance this time around.

Andnichole - Gla to hear that you and the babies are doing good.

As for me. Things are better. I have been off work all week just taking it easy. No more bleeing so I am hoping that never happens again. It was the most scariest time. We go for our Nuchal on Tuesday so thats another chance for a U/S for us. I welcome them because it reassures us that everything is okay. We are a bit nervous about this test but are thinking positive. Well to ease some of my nerves my DH rented one of those high tech digital dopplers from www.babybeats.com. They detect babies heartbeat as early as 8 weeks. We got it yesterday and we have used it three times already. At last check, baby had a nice strong heartbeat at about 158. This will help reassure me that everything is okay if we have another one of those episodes.

Good luck to all!!!!

Everything went well at the high risk OB. They told me that the OB group I am going to is very experienced with twins. The high risk OB said that usually they like to see women pregnant with twins quite often but with me going to the OB office I am that they are comfortable only seeing me 3-4 more times. That will definitely help out on the amount of time I have to take off from work for Dr's appts. They did tell me today that they would deliver me by Week 37 (September 20). It was pretty cool seeing the babies now that they actually look like babies and not little shrimp anymore. LOL They were both really bouncing around in there. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Well Ladies

I didnt receive the greatest news today! Evil or Very Mad Of our 18 eggs, 15 were mature but only 8 fertilized. I am very dissapointed! On top of that, my eggs looked the same as last time, a weird crater/dented look to them. The embryologist has no idea what it is, she has never seen it before, she even brought in another embyologist last cycle to look at them...so they still havent said I have poor egg quality, but its looking like that. HAs anyone ever heard of anything like this? I pray that my 8 embies grow! Last cycle we had 11 fert. but by day 5 only 2 had made it to blast. I have a feeling they will transfer on day 3 this time...maybe being inside will give them a better chance. Im feeling blue right now! I need to keep a positive outlook, but what if this never happens for me! I am soooooo heartbroken! But I need everyone to pray that my embies do well! I have a feeling the same thing is going to happen and most of them will stop growing! But I only need one right??? Sorry, Im not in the mood to do personals! Hope everyone had a great day! I will hear from the RE with their progress tomorrow!
